Abstract: The invention pertains to a process for producing a cross-linked polyolefin foam in a continuous process using standard processing equipment without using a moisture cross-linking step after processing. In this method, a vinyl functional silane compound is melt grafted onto a low density polyethylene in the presence of a free radical generator. The resulting silane grafted polyethylene resin is mixed and melted with a blowing agent in a continuous process in the presence of water to form a vinyl functional silane foam.

Abstract: A temporary connect enables a structure to receive electrical power via a simple extension cord before a utility meter is installed. The temporary connect incorporates the form factor of a standard power meter and mounts to the meter cabinet. It includes a standard male connector or breaker, fuse or lug recessed within a base. A female end of an extension cord may be plugged into the male connector, and the opposite end may be plugged into a temporary meter pole or other power source. The temporary connect connects the prongs of the connector to the load leads of the meter cabinet, but isolates the connector and load prongs from the line leads. The structure thereby can easily receive power for testing the circuits, lights, and other devices. When construction is complete, the temporary connect can be easily removed and replaced with a permanent power meter.

The input detaching assembly is mounted between the shuffler and the card input to connect the card input detachably to the shuffler. The output detaching assembly is mounted between the shuffler and the card output to connect the card output detachably to the shuffler. Therefore, the shuffler, the card input and the card output may be manufactured and sold separately to simplify manufacturing processes and reduce buying cost.

Abstract: A system and method for imputing data into a database includes an imputing system operable to impute data based on outside plant construction principles. The imputing system includes an inventory database, a data engine, a search engine, and a loop engine. The inventory database includes a plurality of distribution records each associated with one or more cable pairs. The data engine determines if a desired distribution record corresponding to a desired cable pair includes missing data. The search engine searches a known class of serving terminals for complete distribution records and iteratively searches a sized binder group within the inventory database for one or more complete distribution records where the size of the binder group searched increases with each iterative search. The loop engine determines an imputed value for the desired distribution record based on the searching and imputes the value into the desired distribution record.

Abstract: A data processing method and network for collecting, storing, and providing user profile data. The network comprises a number of persona agents, interconnected to a hub. The persona agents and the hub are stored within the data communications network. Each persona agent is associated with a user of the data communications network, and is operable to collect observational data from an application being executed by the user, as well to receive queries for profile data from the application and to respond to the queries with context-based profile data.

Abstract: Supply chain visualization and management are achieved using supply entity icons and inventory parameters overlaid on a zoomable map image. A user zooms in and zooms out to display multiple geographical areas and variably receives greater or less detail regarding supply parameters. A user may initiate a transfer of products between supply entities by manipulating icons on an output device to result in the generation and sending of business documents to relevant entities. A hypothetical mode allows a user to estimate the effects of potential product transfers on entities within the supply chain.

Abstract: A system, method and apparatus for securing communications between a trusted network and an untrusted network are disclosed. A perimeter client is deployed within the trusted network and communicates over a session multiplexing enabled protocol with a perimeter server deployed within a demilitarized zone network. The perimeter client presents requests to make available and communication initiation requests to the perimeter server which presents corresponding sockets to the entrusted network. The session multiplexing capabilities of the protocol used between the perimeter server and perimeter client permit a single communication session therebetween to support a plurality of communication sessions between the perimeter server and untrusted network. In the event data flows across the communication sessions are encrypted, decryption of the data flows is left to the components at the end points of the communication session, thereby restricting exposure of privileged information to areas within trusted networks.

The serotonin reuptake inhibitors are bi-functional organic molecules which combine serotonin transporter reuptake inhibition with serotonin (5-HT, such as 5-HT2A) receptor antagonism in one molecular entity. The serotonin-selective reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) homologue portion of the molecule shows an affinity to the serotonin reuptake transporter (SERT) and has antidepressant properties. The piperazine or piperidine portion of the molecule demonstrates an affinity to 5-HT receptors and restores the undesired side effects of SSRIs.

The visual access permitted by an inspection window prevents the need to remove a cable trough to find available ports, which reduces the chance of causing a disruption in service by inadvertently disconnecting a cable that is in or around the cable trough.

Abstract: The compounds include substituted rifamycin derivatives in which a quinolone carboxylic acid pharmacophore is covalently bonded to a benzoxazinorifamycin or a spiropiperidinorifamycin. The rifamycin derivatives are useful as antimicrobial agents and are effective against a number of human and veterinary Gram positive and Gram negative pathogens. The advantage of the inventive compounds is that both the rifamycin and quinolone antibacterial pharmacophores are co-delivered with matched pharmacokinetics to the targeted pathogens of interests. Delivery of multiple antibacterial pharmacophores simultaneously to the targeted pathogens has the maximum chance of achieving synergy and minimizing the development of resistance to the antibiotics given.
