Abstract: A die carrier combined with a die board where the die carrier is positioned within an opening formed in the die board. The die carrier includes a block having a peripheral groove, an extendable strip fitted within the groove, and a screen carried by the block and engageable with the extendable strip to move the strip outwardly from the block. By virtue of the movement of the block within the die board opening, the die carrier may be positioned to register the embossing components.
Abstract: An improved blister vent for relieving pressure within a blister on a multi-layered roof, wherein the shaft extending downwardly therefrom is provided with laterally extending threads, the pitch of which approximates the thickness of each of the layers of the roofing material.
Abstract: A hanger which includes two depending strips of resilient material interconnected at their upper margins by a flexible link which enables the hanger at its link to be placed over the upper marinal edge of a sheet of material with the strips straddling of the sheet material and thus acting as a spacer preventing contact between adjacent sheets of material stacked in an upright orientation.
Abstract: A leaf blower which includes an axial fan secured to the generally horizontal drive shaft of a motor carried upon a wheel-mounted deck. The deck is guided over the ground by a handle which allows the user of the leaf blower to direct the air flow from the axial fan across the surface of the ground. The wheels of the deck are adjustable to allow for the height and angle of incline of the fan relative to the ground to be varied for optimum leaf blowing.
Abstract: A multiple component solenoid valve having a valve part, solenoid part and cap part. The solenoid part which actuates the valve part is reversible relative to the valve part so as to allow the valve to be either of a normally-open type or a normally closed-typed.
Abstract: An arm rest bracket for pivotal connection of an arm rest to a vehicle seat frame. The bracket includes a plastic insert frictionally engaging the arm rest connecting rod and locking pin for reducing vibration noise while the vehicle is moving. The insert includes a camming surface to assist in connecting the arm rest to the bracket. The insert further includes abutments for guiding the stop pin to provide easy removal of the arm rest from the bracket.
Abstract: A pre-fabricated kit for the assembly of a portable prisoner module which is adaptable to use in a conventional van-type vehicle. The kit comprises a series of panels which, when assembled in such a vehicle, forms a box-like container with visual communication between the interior of the container and the van drivers compartment and a rear door unit providing ingress to and egress from the interior of the container. The kit contains two door units, one with a single door and the other with dual side by side doors and a divider for use with the latter. When the divider and the dual-door unit are utilized, the module is divided into two compartments to which access is permitted selectively and individually.
Abstract: Tongs for handling food items upon a grill in which the food gripping plates of the tongs are displaced laterally as well as apart when open to enable the user of the tongs to see the food item as it is being gripped by the tongs. The tongs plates each include a pair of serrated teeth defining slots. The teeth formed by the slots engage the food item as the plates are positioned in a food-gripping orientation relative to one another to restrict movement of the food item relative to the tongs.
Abstract: An automatic food cooker having a tubular frame used as an air conduit system for delivering air to the fuel source. When the attached fan is turned on air is blown through the tubular frame and out the exhaust on the vertical frame members. The exhaust ports are adjacent the lower longitudinal frame near the fuel source. Therefore, regardless of the wind condition the fuel source may be fed sufficient air to promote burning. Use of the tubular frame as air conduits minimizes the cost involved in providing the air delivery system for the cooker. A portion of the frame is used as hot air conduits for drawing heated air from the cooker interior and delivering it to an upper chamber for heating or cooking food products contained therein.
Abstract: A modular socket for an integrated circuit package, wherein a single base is adapted to receive a plurality of replaceable contact modules having a variety of conductive lead counts. The modularity permits tooling of a single base to accommodate a variety of integrated circuit packages. The socket includes a lid pivotally connected to the base by a hinge and hinge pin. The hinge pin defines a pivot axis which is in a plane with the bottom surface of the lid to limit lateral movement on the contacts carried by the module.
Abstract: An animal feeder having a rotatable feed plate. A spacer is carried by the feed plate to limit the amount of feed carried by the plate and further prevents accumulation of feed on the central portion feed plate. Limiting the amount of feed on the plate reduces the weight of feed to allow rotation of the plate by a smaller feeding animal. The spacer of this invention further reduces feed spoilage caused by static feed typically collected on the feed plate central portion. The feed plate is spaced from the feed trough by a central raised portion of the base to isolate feed carried on the plate from that in the trough. Isolating feed on the feed plate in this manner prevents the wicking of moisture from the trough into the hopper.
Abstract: A table leg lock having a spring clip carried by a plate for engaging an annular groove in the table leg. The spring clip when pulled laterally engages a pair of flanges to spread the clip for removal of the table leg. The leg lock has application when supported by a floor or connected to the underside of a table surface.

Abstract: An end cap for a ridge of a roof formed from a corrugated ridge vent. A longitudinal strip is removed from each of the lower corrugated layers adjacent a side edge to create a flap from the extending portion of the upper sheet of corrugated material. The flap is then folded over the side edges of the lower corrugated layers to provide an end cap from the ridge of a roof.
Abstract: In a skid-steer loader of front type, the present invention offers a safety apparatus for the operator by way of providing a seat bar securely retainable in its desired position, a pair of supporting blocks and a pair of mounting blocks for retaining the seat bar. The safety device further includes a pair of actuating mechanisms for the parking brake operable in response to the pivotal movement of the seat bar.
