Abstract: A portable mass storage device for use in two factor authentication systems and methods. A secure portable mass storage device protects content from being freely copied with security mechanisms and firmware. The security functionality also protects confidential user credentials and passwords, as well as algorithms and seeds needed for two factor authentication or asymmetric authentication methods. A client application residing in the mass storage device acts as both a password manager and an authentication manager that seamlessly performs the authentication procedures in the background while signing a user into various institutions of his choosing. A very high level of security is integrated into a mass storage device the user has for purposes other than two factor authentication, and the convenience of highly secure password management also comes in a convenient pocket sized package easy for the user to transport.

Abstract: A transmitter and method for determining impedance measurement in an active radio frequency transmitter of an antenna are provided. Voltage and current samples are obtained from a modulating signal delivered to an antenna. The voltage and current samples are converted from analog to digital format, and decimation occurs to reduce the number of samples. Complex demodulation is performed of each of the voltage and current samples to baseband levels and decimation of the voltage and current samples is performed to reduce the number of samples. An impedance estimate can then be estimated from the voltage and current samples.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer readable media for early media connection proxying are disclosed. According to one method, a call setup signaling message is received for establishing a call between a calling entity and a called entity. Based on at least one parameter in the call setup signaling message, it is determined whether an early media connection is required for the call. It is also determined whether early media connection proxying is required for the call. In response to determining that an early media connection and early media connection proxying are required for the call, signaling is performed on behalf of a network entity to establish an early media connection for the call.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer readable media for fractional pre-emphasis of multi-mode interconnect are disclosed. According to one aspect, the subject matter described herein includes a method for fractional pre-emphasis of multi-mode interconnect. Multiple bits of binary data are periodically received. For each period, the multiple bits of binary data are encoded into multiple scalar values, each value representing a level of an analog signal to be output over a multi-mode interconnect system during the current period. Multiple analog signal outputs are generated corresponding to multiple scalar values, each signal output being driven to a level according to its corresponding scalar value. For each representative scalar value, a difference between the scalar value generated during the current period and the scalar value generated during the previous period is determined, and a pre-emphasis signal that is proportional to the difference is generated.

The method includes, performing logical configuration for the non-volatile mass storage device, wherein file data is allocated addresses in a virtual logical address space; and data identified by virtual logical addresses is read by a host system. The system includes a file storage segment that reads and writes data on a file-by-file basis, allowing a host system to access data from the non-volatile mass storage device using a file interface format; and a logical interface segment that allows the host system to access data using logical addressing, wherein the host system is unaware of a storage format under which data is stored on a file-by-file basis.
Abstract: The subject matter described herein includes methods and systems for conserving multicast port lists in an IP packet forwarding device. According to one embodiment, the method includes providing an IP multicast packet port data structure containing at least a first port list and a second port list. The first and second port lists each contain zero or more port addresses for indicating the ports to which a received IP multicast packet including a group IP address is to be forwarded. An IP multicast packet forwarding database (FDB) is provided where the FDB has at least a first FDB entry and a second FDB entry for forwarding the received IP multicast packet based on its group IP address. The first and second FDB entries each include at least one multicast group IP address and are associated with at least one of the first and the second port lists. It is then determined whether the first and second port lists contain identical information.
