Abstract: An outer operational device includes a cover mounted to a side of a door. An actuating member is mounted in the cover and includes an end engaged with a handle to rotate therewith. A sliding member is slideably received in the cover and operably connected to the actuating member, so that the sliding member slides when the actuating member rotates. A limiting member is pivotably received in the cover between a blocking position not allowing movement of the sliding member and a release position allowing movement of the sliding member. The handle is rotatable when the limiting member is in the release position. The handle is not rotatable when the limiting member is in the blocking position. A key-operable lock core is operably connected to the actuating member, so that the limiting member can be moved to the blocking position to provide a burglarproof function.
Abstract: An overload clutch (10) for a rotating agitation member (11) for a surface cleaning machine includes a clutch member (12) connected to the agitation member (11) to rotate therewith, a coupling member (20) rotatable relative to the clutch member (12), and a torque lever (40) having an end pivotally mounted to the coupling member (12). The other end of the torque lever (40) is biased to engage with the clutch member (12) such that the agitation member (11) is rotated together with the coupling member (20) when a torque load from the agitation member (11) is not greater than a preset level. The torque lever (40) pivots outward away from the clutch member (12) and disengages from the clutch member (12) to disconnect the torque lever (40) from the clutch member (12) when the torque load from the agitation member (11) is greater than the preset level.

Each attachment has one end formed with a second receiving cavity for receiving a switch and a front end having a curved third receiving cavity for receiving a light-emitting body whose received end is spherical. Each attachment is coupled to the corresponding mount such that a curved concave portion at the front end of each mount and the third receiving cavity of the corresponding attachment jointly form a spherical socket that allows the corresponding light-emitting body to rotate and provide multidirectional lighting.
Abstract: A ripple voltage suppression apparatus includes a DC/DC converter and a control circuit. The DC/DC converter has a power electronic switch. The control circuit has a voltage detector detecting a DC output voltage of the DC/DC converter, a ripple voltage suppression circuit receiving the detected DC output voltage to generate an AC control signal for controlling an AC component of a duty ratio of the power electronic switch, an output voltage regulation circuit receiving the detected DC output voltage to generate a DC control signal for controlling an DC component of a duty ratio, an adder adding the AC and DC control signals to form a combined control signal, and a PWM circuit converting the combined control signal into a PWM signal to control the power electronic switch. Only the DC output voltage of the DC/DC converter has to be detected for the control circuit.
Abstract: An inner-rotor-type motor includes a housing, a stator, a rotor, a permanent magnet and a cover plate. The housing has a compartment. The stator is received in the compartment. There is an assembling hole arranged at the axial center of the stator and passing through the stator from the top to the bottom thereof. The rotor has a shaft with one end thereof rotatably extending through the assembling hole, with a bearing being mounted around the shaft. The permanent magnet is fixed to an outer periphery of the shaft and beside the bearing, with the permanent magnet facing the stator. The cover plate is arranged between the permanent magnet and the bearing. Consequently, impurities are prevented from entering an undesired interstice between the bearing and the shaft or from entering the inside of the bearing, such that smooth rotation of the rotor is provided and such that life of the inner-rotor-type motor is extended.

Abstract: A cover assembly for a trash bin includes a cover, a support ring, a pivoting device coupling to the cover and the support ring and a buffer device connecting to the pivoting device. The pivoting device provides an upward force to the cover, and the buffer device cushions the upward force from the pivoting device. The buffer device and the pivoting device allow the cover assembly to be lifted slowly and prevent a loud noise while lifting the cover quickly and while the cover bumps the trash bin.
Abstract: A caliper includes two legs pivotably connected together at first ends thereof. Second ends of the legs can abut opposite first and second sides of an object to be gauged. Each leg includes first and second faces extending between the first and second ends. A scale is formed on the first surface of each leg. Each leg further includes an inclined surface between the first and second faces. The size of the object is indicated by an intersection of the scales. The inclined surfaces of the legs abut third and fourth faces of the object so that the gauging result is reliable.
Abstract: A hot drink maker is provided. The hot drink maker includes a heating device for making various hot drinks. The heating device can be set in advance with a desired temperature and time for making a hot drink so that the heating device heats water to the desired temperature and pumps the heated water into a steeping space in which a bag containing a raw material of the hot drink is placed. When the set time is up, a cam is driven to rotate, thereby pushing a pushing rod upward. Consequently, a seesaw element resiliently engaged with a plug rod at an end of an outlet of a steeping chamber is tilted so as to discharge a finished hot drink prepared by steeping into an adjacent pitcher along the lowered plug rod, and thus the hot drink is made conveniently.
Abstract: A water feeding device of a hot drink maker, particularly of a coffeemaker, is provided wherein a water feeding operation and a water heating time are controlled by a water temperature sensor, a computer circuit board, and a motor, all of which are installed in the hot drink maker. The motor is driven according to a sensing result obtained by sensing water temperature at a predetermined position, so as to push heated water smoothly and completely into an inlet of a brewing chamber. Thus, ground coffee in the brewing chamber is infused by the liquid-state heated water of a predetermined temperature to make a hot drink with a desirable taste.
Abstract: A luggage handle includes a support unit, a control unit and an operation unit. The support unit includes an outer tube having at least one locking hole. The control unit includes a first casing, a second casing, a slide, a push spring, a push shank, an elastic member, a weight and a restoring spring. Thus, when the luggage handle is subjected to a larger shock, the weight is moved downward to move its stop block to abut the limit block of the slide to prevent the locking stub of the slide from being detached from the locking hole of the outer tube and to prevent the pull bar and the inner tube of the operation unit from being moved outwardly from the support seat of the support unit.
