Abstract: A brake caliper for a disk brake, in particular for motorcycles and/or bicycles, includes a housing (30) in which a disk space (39) for receiving a brake disk and a brake cylinder (35) for receiving a brake piston (25) are formed. The brake cylinder (35) is connected to the disk space (39) and has, on its side opposite to the disk space (39), an assembly opening (50) through which the brake piston (25) can be inserted into the brake cylinder (35). A closure element (10) closes the assembly opening (50) after the insertion of the brake piston (25) into the brake cylinder (35). A securing element (21) secures the closure element (10) in the assembly opening (50) against forces in the direction of the main axis of the brake cylinder (35).
Abstract: A hidden touch pad structure adapted for an electronic product includes a touch pad and a plate covering the touch pad. The plate includes a pad-recognizing portion corresponding to the touch pad. A circuit board is electronically connected to the touch pad for receiving a pressure signal when pressing the pad-recognizing portion of the plate.
Abstract: A shower head includes a case having a chamber with an opening, and a cover is slidably engaged with the opening and has multiple holes. The cover has an inner space defined therein, and a brush unit is rotatably located in the inner space and the chamber. The brush unit includes multiple blades, and each blade has brushes connected thereto. The brush unit rotates by the water flow so as to brush the inner surface of the chamber.

Abstract: A shower curtain rod is a multiple-sectional rod composed of two supporting rods and at least one extension rod pivotally connected between the two supporting rods to allow shower curtain sleeving and suspending thereon. Distal ends of the two supporting rods rotatably combine with pivotal hinge assemblies to mount on the walls respectively. Thus, the extension rod is driven to different orientations by pushing and rotating one of the two supporting rods to selectively bend the shower curtain rod inward or outward to make the shower space variable with maximum benefit.
Abstract: A tool includes a shank. A driving device is mounted on the first end of the shank and has a first ratcheting mechanism including a compartment and a plurality of first teeth in the compartment and a second ratcheting mechanism rotatably received in the compartment and including a plurality of second teeth engaged with the plurality of first teeth. The first ratcheting mechanism is rotatable relative to the second ratcheting mechanism in a single direction. The second ratcheting mechanism also includes a channel extending therein. A driving head is moveably received in the channel between two releasably fixed positions. In one position, the driving head is adapted to turn an element in a first direction. In another position, the driving head is adapted to turn the element in the second position opposite to the first position.
Abstract: A pillow structure substantially has a bottom board 1 mounted at a bottom inside a pillow body 10 and at least one resilient pad 2 controlled by an adjuster 4 mounted on the bottom board 1. By having the resilient pad 2 to support a buffering layer 3 for neck leaning, curved degrees of the pillow body 10 are adjusted corresponding to different users.
Abstract: A guiding connector for optical fiber extension has a positioning section in the accommodating hole to receive a optical fiber and has a ventilative recess defined on one side to communicate with the positioning section of the accommodating hole. The positioning section adjacent to the ventilative recess achieves a ventilative portion to discharge gas inside the positioning section so that optical fibers are assembled and processed precisely and rapidly.

Abstract: A method for making a life vest includes making first and second double-knitted fabrics from an artificial filament. Each of the first and second double-knitted fabrics includes inner and outer cloth layers. The first and second double-knitted fabrics are dyed. Then, the inner cloth layer of each of the first and second double-knitted fabrics is processed to form a brush structure on the inner cloth layer. The brush structure and the inner and outer layers of each of the first and second double-knitted fabrics undergo a heat-setting process so that the sizes of the brush structure and the inner and outer layers of each of the first and second double-knitted fabrics are stabilized. The first and second double-knitted fabrics are cut and sewn so that the outer cloth layers face outward and that the inner cloth layers face each other. A buoyant material is filled between a receiving space defined between the inner cloth layers.
Abstract: A picnic table includes at least two leg units, a crossbar, a table top and two benches. Each leg unit includes two J-shaped legs. Each J-shaped leg includes a table top support portion formed thereon, a bench support portion formed thereon, and a recess defined in the table top support portion. The crossbar is located between the leg units. The table top includes planks and tubes for supporting the planks. The table top is supported on the table top support portions while the tubes are received in the recesses. Screws are used to secure the crossbar to the legs, secure the table top to the table top support portions, and secure the benches to the bench support portions.
Abstract: A hinge mechanism includes first and second hinge devices rotatable in different directions. Further, a first positioning member is utilized for limiting the rotation of the first hinge device within one predetermined angle. Further, a second positioning member is utilized for positioning the first pintle at various orientations. Moreover, a third positioning member is utilized for limiting rotation of the second hinge device within another predetermined angle. A fourth positioning member is utilized for positioning the second pintle at various orientations.
Abstract: A driver-assisting apparatus includes a video camera and a display. The video camera is attached to a vehicle for taking pictures in a field further than a driver's field of view with bare eyes. The display is connected with the camera for displaying the pictures. With the driver-assisting apparatus, the driver can see an object that is too far for her or him to see with the bare eyes. Thus, the driver can take actions to avoid running over or bumping into the object earlier with the driver-assisting apparatus than without.
Abstract: A computer table includes a rear frame, two side frames pivotally mounted on two opposite ends of the rear frame respectively, a support board detachably mounted on the rear frame and the two side frames to support a computer, a drawer board detachably mounted between the two side frames, and a carrier detachably mounted on one of the two side frames to support a host frame of the computer. Thus, the computer table can be folded to have a smaller volume to decrease the cost of packaging, storage and transportation of the computer table.
Abstract: A MIMO OFDM system for TICM includes a tone-level interleaver at the transmitter using a block of NT symbols as its basic unit. This results in different decoding architectures at the receiver. The main advantage of TICM is to merge soft-bit demapping into the Viterbi algorithm. Taking advantage of the trellis structure inherent in the Viterbi algorithm, TICM can have lower computational complexity and potentially better performance than BICM with the LSD detector and the vector demapper. Although the tone-level interleaving may not have spatial diversity gain, the performance is not affected in 802.11n environments.
