Patent number: 5882287Abstract: A device for manufacturing a multilayered tube formed of paper webs that are provided with transverse perforations at identical distances, wherein sections of the tube are torn off in order to manufacture paper bags, includes at least one perforating knife that is arranged in the machine frame and fastened to a rotating shaft. The perforating knife provides the paper webs with transverse perforations, and the radial distance between the perforating knife and the shaft may be altered so as to adjust the format of the bags. In addition, the device includes transverse gluing cylinders that are arranged in the machine frame, which are provided with transverse gluing bars and which cooperate with devices for applying glue. Also included is a longitudinal gluing roller that applies glue which forms a longitudinal adhesive seam onto the edges of the paper webs which are laterally offset with respect to one another and guided together via guide rollers before the paper webs are folded into a tube.Type: GrantFiled: January 18, 1995Date of Patent: March 16, 1999Assignee: Windmoller & HolscherInventor: Gustav Kuckhermann

Patent number: 5860619Abstract: A seeker head comprises a seeker for scanning field of view and a gyro assembly sensing attitude variations. Signal processing means process information from two consecutive scans of the seeker. The signals from the gyro assembly are applied to a coordinate transformer circuit, which transforms the picture information from consecutive scans into a common intertial coordinate system. A target is selected by target selection logic. The coordinates of a selected target are read into a deviation memory. The signal processing means provide the inertial sight line rate of the sight line to a selected target. After each scanning and signal processing cycle the location is computed at which the target is to be expected according to the sight line rate measured during the preceding cycle. This permits comparison of target signals in consecutive scans even with moving targets, recovery of temporarily lost targets and discrimination between actual targets, such as an aircraft, and mocktargets, such as flares.Type: GrantFiled: August 5, 1980Date of Patent: January 19, 1999Assignee: Bodenseewerk Geratetechnik GmbHInventors: Wolfgang Gulitz, Johann Friedrich Egger

Patent number: 5702068Abstract: In a seeker head a field of view is scanned cyclically for providing picture informations referenced to a seeker-fixed coordinate system. The seeker carries a gyro assembly, which provides attitude variation signals as a function of attitude variations of the seeker relative to inertial space. The attitude variation signals are applied to a coordinate transformer which transforms all picture informations with their addresses into an inertial coordinate system which coincided with the seeker-fixed coordinate system after the completion of the preceding scan. Thereby during each scan all picture informations are transformed into one single inertial coordinate system. After the completion of the scan, the picture informations are again transformed into an inertial coordinate system, which coincided with the seeker-fixed coordinate system at the end of said scan, and are stored in a memory. This is the same coordinate system into which the picture informations will be transformed during the next-following scan.Type: GrantFiled: September 25, 1979Date of Patent: December 30, 1997Assignee: Bodenseewerk Geratetechnik GmbHInventors: Alfred Stoll, Wolfgang Gulitz, Hans Tessari, Reiner Eckhardt

Patent number: 5702099Abstract: An arrangement for separating flat stacked objects is composed of a stacking hopper, the base of which supports the stack and is composed of rolls. The rolls pass through at intervals and roll against the respective bottommost workpiece. The rolls are provided in a traveling series and are driven in a rotating manner. A conveyor belt for transporting material away is arranged below the series of rolls. The respective bottommost workpiece successively peeled off the stack by each roll passage is placed onto the conveyor belt. In sync with the passage of the rolls, suction boxes grip and pull down a lateral edge of the respective bottommost workpiece between two rolls in such a way that the roll that arrives below the stack still supports the stack through the workpiece. The subsequent roll passes between the workpiece and the workpiece located above the previous workpiece and causes a reliable separation of the respective bottommost piece from the stack.Type: GrantFiled: July 9, 1996Date of Patent: December 30, 1997Assignee: Windmoller & HolscherInventor: Uwe Kohn
