  • Patent number: 6308872
Abstract: The disclosed hanger includes two means for supporting hangers. There is an opening in the top panel which permits entry of a hook from another hanger from front to back. A downwardly depending ganging member includes offset front and rear walls. The front and rear walls are spaced, so as to define a second passage to permit the entry of a hook from side to side. Inner edges of the front and rear walls are spaced sufficiently close, so as to prevent the passage of the hook of another hanger from front to back.

  • Patent number: 6308780
Abstract: Run into a well, e.g., in a tube, on a pipe string is a hydromechanical cleaner. The bridge is washed out by the direct desending flow of drilling mud pumped through the pipe string 2. The cleaner is moved downward as the bridge is washed out by moving the pipe string. Ascending flow of drilling mud rotates cleaning heads in opposite directions. Cutting knives of the cleaning heads mechanically remove deposits from the walls of tubing 1. Deposits from the walls are removed mechanically during running of the cleaner into the well and during its lifting from the well. Products of the washed out bridge and deposits are removed from the well by an ascending flow through the side branch pipe of the wellhead circulating head. The device for embodiment of the method includes also a mechanism for moving the pipe string and a pump unit.

  • Patent number: 6243397
Abstract: The present invention relates to a parallel combinatory CDMA (PC-CDMA) system that transmits and receives data by applying a predetermined pseudo number (PN) code corresponding to a plurality of bits, and more particularly relates to a multi-carrier PC-CDMA system, enhancing its efficiency by mixing the PN codes corresponding to the plurality of bits with respective orthogonal frequencies. The transmitting part includes a plurality of mixers 331 to 33n for mixing respective PN codes outputted from a plurality of mappers 321 to 32n with frequency signals having an orthogonal feature and a receiving part including a plurality of mixers 411 to 41n for mixing received signals with the same frequency signals mixed at the transmitting part. Accordingly, it is possible to decrease the number of PN codes needed in a PC-CDMA system by correlating the mappers 321 to 32n of the transmitting part and correlator 421 to 42n and data detectors 431 to 43n of the receiving part through the mixers 33 and 41 independently.

  • Patent number: 6240520
Abstract: A power on/off control device having a first power supply outputs a predetermined first electric power upon receiving input power and a second power supply outputs a main electric power to operate the computer upon power-on, which is turned on and off according to power driving signals of a first level or a second level. A power switch outputs a first level while the power switch is being pressed down, and a second level while not pressed down. A power driving signal output outputs power driving signals of the first level or of the second level alternatively according to inputted pulse signals from a microprocessor, the microprocessor has a first port connected with the power switch and a second port coupled with the power driving signal output, for controlling power on/off according to signal levels from the first port and the second port. A data output forwards data outputted from the microprocessor to a system data bus. A data input sends data inputted through the system data bus to the microprocessor.

  • Patent number: 6212439
Abstract: A program selection driving device for a personal computer is provided, through which a user can executes a desirous program simply by operating a specified button, comprising a button panel 712 having a plurality of selecting buttons on an outside of a main computer 71 and a remote signal receiver 711 for inputting a specified remote control signal. A CPU 20 executes a corresponding program the user wants when a specified selecting signal is inputted from the button panel 712 and the remote signal receiver 711. And a hard disk of the computer includes a first memory region storing a program for the program selection driving and a second memory region storing directory information and execution file names related to selectable programs registered. A program can be registered in the second memory region, in execution of a program stored at the first memory region, by a drag and drop function.

  • Patent number: 6202367
Abstract: A support bracket and stake are provided which can be used for edging gardens and lawns or for the formation of retaining walls. Used together, the bracket and stake provide a means to support and anchor lengths of lumber to the ground to create a variety of edging systems. In particular, the stakes provide a means to attach the system securely to the ground surface, while the support bracket has a beam receiving portion to support a variety of different types of lumber frequently used in edging. A mounting column on the support bracket provides a means to secure the support bracket to the stakes such that the support bracket may freely rotate 360° perpendicular to the vertical axis of the stake. The stakes may be vertically engaged one upon and inside the other to provide a raised border system of various height.

  • Patent number: 6204732
Abstract: Apparatus for clock signals distribution with continuous switching capability between the outputs of a Clock Distribution Unit (CDU) and of a redundant CDU. Switching is transparent to load circuits which utilize these clock signals, by continuously keeping the output clock signals in the CDU and the redundant CDU frequency and phase coherent, by generating each output clock signal from a reference signal, using an adaptive PLL circuitry at each CDU, and pre-adjusting the phase of each output clock signal of the redundant CDU to the corresponding output clock signal of the CDU. In the event of a failure in the CDU, the output is taken from the redundant CDU immediately after failure detection. The phase of the reference frequency output clock signal of the standby CDU module is adjusted to the phase of the active CDU module by adding or subtracting an input signal to the phase error signal, which is generated in a PLL circuitry of the redundant CDU module.

  • Patent number: 6151902
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a method for making artificial snow wherein a snow-inducing agent is injected into the water of a snow-making system along with a particulate for increased snow-making capabilities and a higher quality of snow The snow-inducing agent is a compound being a sulfate with a C.sub.8-16 carbon chain alcohol. Preferably, the compound is sodium myreth sulfate. The snow-inducing agent places tiny micro millimeter size air "bubbles" within the water molecules thereby stretching the molecules. The particles then mix in the wall of the water molecules causing the droplet to be hollow. The thin outer wall containing the particulate acts as a nucleating agent to start the freezing process. The molecule is less dense causing a faster transfer of latent heat combined with sensible heat.
