Abstract: The present invention achieves a shallow junction of a source and a drain, and provides a doping method which makes device properties reproducible and a semiconductor device fabricated using the method. In the present invention, doping for the semiconductor is conducted by attaching a molecular species with a higher electron affinity or lower ionization energy out of fullerene derivatives or metallocenes to the semiconductor surface to induce charge transfer from the molecule to the semiconductor.

Abstract: A ball and socket joint (1) is provided, for example, for a chassis bearing, with a ball (2), a pivot (3) originating from the ball (2), a housing (4) accommodating the ball, and a sealing bellows (5), which extends between the housing (4) and the pivot (3) and has a housing-side opening (6) and a pivot-side opening (7). The sealing bellows (5) has a circumferential sealing lip (8) for sealing at the pivot-side opening (7). The ball and socket joint (1) has a first guide ring (9), which guides the sealing bellows (5). The first guide ring (9) is arranged at the pivot (3). An especially favorable functional separation is achieved as a result between the guiding function and the sealing function.

Abstract: A web-spreading device and a web-spreading process are provided. The web-spreading device, is provided whereby a first web strand being conveyed and a second web strand being conveyed next to the first web strand in a web-processing machine can be offset in parallel to one another in order to set a spread. A frame supports a first deflecting device (5r; 5r?), which forms a first deflection axis for the first web strand (Br), and a second deflecting device (6r; 6r?), which forms a second deflection axis for the first web strand (Br), which deflection axis is the next deflection axis for the first deflection axis in the conveying direction (F). The first web strand (Br) is offset in parallel by wrapping around the deflecting device (5r, 6r; 5r?, 6r?) and the spread (X; X+Y) is thus set in its entirety or in part. At least one of the deflecting devices (5r, 6r; 5r?, 6r?) is mounted adjustably along an adjustment path in the frame (2) in order to set the spread (X; X+Y).
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for making a product of artificial rock and a product thus made for use, in particular, in aquariums, tanks, swimming pools and the like; the process comprises the following operating steps: carrying out a first deposition of a mixture of powdered aggregates, resin, additives, within a cast or mould; catalyzing the mixture of said first deposition; covering the surface thus obtained with isophtalic or bisphenolic polyester resin; carrying out a second deposition of powdered aggregates, resin, additives; covering the surface derived from the second deposition with a layer of structural component and with resin; polymerizing the intermediate product thus obtained covering the surface thus obtained with a layer of gel; polymerizing the product thus obtained; removing the product from the mould; subjecting the product to a heating treatment.

Abstract: A cut design of an ornamental diamond and an observation method of the diamond which an observer can perceive a more beauty, are disclosed. The cut design is a round brilliant cut comprising a girdle, a crown above the girdle and a pavilion below the girdle.
