Abstract: By providing a pre-printed housing member which automatically expands from a flat, generally two-dimensional configuration into a three-dimensional promotional display and also incorporating a sound generator which is activated simultaneously with the movement of the display member from its substantially flat, planar configuration into its three-dimensional configuration, a unique, hands-on, printed, visually exciting and interest-generating, advertising/promotional product is obtained. In the preferred embodiment, an audio producing circuit is automatically activated simultaneously with the automatic movement of the display member from its two-dimensional configuration into its three-dimensional configuration. In this way, a visually exciting, interest generating, multi-sense impacting, advertising/promotional display member is realized.

Abstract: By providing two separate and independent locking systems formed in a single padlock, with both locking systems independently enabling the single shackle to be released and/or lockingly engaged, in combination with a signal/indicator system constructed to provide a positive notification when one of said systems is employed, an effective, easily produced, multi-purpose signal providing padlock is achieved. In the preferred embodiment, a single housing and shackle assembly are employed and constructed for enabling the shackle to be released from locked engagement with the housing using either a rotatable dial combination construction or a key activating tumbler construction. In addition, a signal/indicator is activated whenever the key controlled locking section is employed with the signal/indicator being locked in position, for resetting by only the user/owner.

Abstract: By resolving objections in the prior art, provided are a novel copolymer suitable as a coating polymers which is excellent in adhesion to a substrate and can be used suitably as the polymer for the coating film having durability against pattern collapse in the finer pattern formation for progressed lithography technology and a method for producing the copolymer, as well as a novel thiol compound useful as a chain transfer agent in the production of the copolymer. The novel thiol compound of the present invention has the structure represented by the formula (1); wherein R1 is a bivalent substituent selected from linear, branched or cyclic saturated hydrocarbon having 1 to 15 carbon atoms.

Abstract: An apparatus for providing left and right eye images along the axis of a single camera lens (7), the apparatus comprising optical means arranged to provide said left and right eye images (22, 20) as a pair of head-to-head or toe-to-toe images, i.e. with the two images (20, 22) separated by a center line and with either the tops of the two images (20, 22) or the bottoms of the two images (20, 22) adjacent the center line, so that the left and right eye images (22, 20) can be simultaneously recorded onto a single frame of a photographic film or other recording medium.

Abstract: By providing a cover member which is pivotally mounted to the base member and is constructed for being automatically securely affixed to the base member by frictional and locking engagement therewith, an efficient, easily manufactured and easily assembled conduit/cable connector is realized. In addition, the cover member comprises a pair of gripping fingers constructed for engaging and holding a flexible metal conduit and/or armored or metal clad cable. As a result of this construction, the operator is able to quickly and easily insert a flexible metal conduit and/or armored or metal clad cable into the gripping fingers of the cover member, and then arcuately pivot the cover member and the engaged metal conduit and/or armored or metal clad cable into the precisely desired mounted position with the base member.

Abstract: By providing a frame assembly, two wheel holding carriers which are arcuately pivotably mounted to the frame assembly, and a support platform which is also pivotally mounted to the frame assembly and controls the movement of the wheel holding carrier, a small, compact, two wheeled, luggage cart/carrier is achieved which is capable of quickly and easily arcuately pivoting wheel support brackets between two alternate positions, with ease and convenience. In addition, the arcuate pivoting movement of the wheel supporting brackets is automatically achieved simultaneously with movement of the luggage support platform from a stowed position to a deployed, usable position. The support platform is pivotally mounted to the terminating end of the frame assembly for being arcuately pivoted between a first, stowed position and a second, deployed position wherein the support platform is substantially perpendicular to the plane established by the frame assembly.

Furthermore, the high security padlock of the present invention is constructed, in one embodiment, for being controlled by use of a combination system and, in an alternate embodiment, for being controlled by using either a combination system or a key and tumbler system.

Abstract: An assembly that can be used in conjunction with a resin moulding apparatus includes means defining a chamber containing a pressure sensor, and an entry passage leading upwardly into the chamber. The arrangement is such that, when the assembly is mounted in an upper section of a mould and a moulding operation is being carried out, the resin enters the entry passage so that the level of resin in the entry passage increases producing an increase in the pressure within the chamber, and the configuration of the entry passage is such that the cross-sectional area thereof reduces with height.

Abstract: A kit for selecting and using artificial fishing flies includes a container with compartments for holding a preselected assortment of fishing flies and instruction sets related to the compartment instructing an angler which flies to select and when, where and/or how to fish those flies depending upon the physical characteristics and conditions of a fishing location. A method of fly fishing includes the steps of directing an angler's observation of the then existing physical characteristics and conditions of the fishing location; matching those characteristics and conditions with instructions from a kit to select a particular fly from the kit; and directing the angler when, where and how to fish the selected fly.
