Abstract: An apparatus for modifying sound audibilized from an audio component in a vehicle comprising a processor connected to the audio component and for controlling the operation thereof. A sensor is connected to a gear box of the vehicle for sensing a position of a gear in the vehicle and further connected to the processor. The sensor senses the position of the gear and determines if the gear is in one of a first position or a second position and causes the processor to modify the audibilized sound based on the determination from a first sound level to a second sound level.

Abstract: A fishing pole strike indicator comprising a housing for a power source, illuminable member and exterior switch for engaging and disengaging illumination along with a pair of clamps each with a stationary and articulated jaw member so that the strike indicator can be selectively attached to the pole as desired. Each clamp has a jaw that when closed has an aperture passing through diametrically sized to encompass a fishing pole shaft. The articulated jaw members of the clamps have a thumb screw for optionally securing the articulated jaw in the closed position and releasing the strike indicator from the fishing pole in the open position.

Abstract: An expansion gasket 10 positionable between similar or dissimilar materials having an exterior exposure to the elements. In the preferred embodiment, the expansion gasket of the present invention 10 provides means to seal a space occurring between mated articles such as walls and windows, doors, electrical outlets, lighting fixtures, fans, ventilation grille, etc. The gasket 10 may have one or two bases 60, 62 and various shapes including 52, 54.

Abstract: A wireless content distribution system includes a controller for selectively controlling the system. The controller includes means for storing data and first means for transmitting and receiving data. At least one output device is connected to the controller for outputting data therefrom. The output device includes a second transmitting and receiving means. An input device inputs instructions and generates an instruction signal for transmission to and receipt by at least one of the first transmitting and receiving means and the second transmitting and receiving means. Upon said second transmitting and receiving means receiving the instruction signal, the second transmitting and receiving means further transmits the instruction signal for receipt by the first transmitting and receiving means.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for an exercise apparatus incorporating sensor means 30 for translating body movement imparted to the exercise apparatus by the user 20 that is measured and transmitted to a video game 34 as commands generated by the sensor enhanced exercise apparatus forming the user control interface 36. The exercise apparatus 10 has a platform 12 with a resistive member 14 extending therefrom along with arms 16 fastened to the resistive member forming a cradle for the user 20 and extending outwardly terminating in hand grips 18. The present invention 10 moves and senses motion in the transverse 24, anterior-posterior 26 and longitudinal 28 axis.

Abstract: A rotative refrigeration unit having three separate modules, each having an exteriorly positioned door 12, mounted on a base 56. The freezer module 16 has a compressor 52 that is used to regulate the freezer temperature with the satellite refrigeration modules 14 having vents 40 in communication with the freezer interior whereby temperature sensors within the satellite refrigeration modules 14 regulate the exchange of air between the freezer and the satellites and thereby maintain a user designated temperature within the satellite modules. Each of the door modules has a base engaging member whereby unit rotation is prohibited when a door 12 is open. Circumferentially positioned along the rim are a plurality of lights 22 serving as night lights that are illuminated when the doors 12 are closed and extinguished when the doors are opened.

Abstract: A portable dredging apparatus comprising a cutter housing in communication with a hydraulic power supply and a discharge pump through lengths of tubing whereby said cutter housing is submersible. The cutter housing is comprised of a platform having walls depending therefrom with the cutter blade positioned therewithin and height adjustable wheels exteriorly located on opposing sides. Also extending between the walls proximate to the cutter blade is an angularly positioned wiper element designed to dislodge debris caught between the teeth of the cutter blade. Angularly depending screen situated between the wiper blade and discharge port located in the rear wall prevent objects larger than the screen mesh from discharge port passage. Releasably fastened to the exterior side of the discharge port is an appropriate length of flexible conduit terminating at a remote discharge pump with additional conduit extending from the discharge pump to a desired debris discharge location.

Abstract: Apparatus 10 discloses a collapsible desk top music book stand which includes hinged panels movable into an erect assembly with a pair of posts 36 and hole 38 forming releasable assembly securement. When in use, the music book stand 10 is positioned on a desk top at eye level vision and is easily portable. Additionally, the stand 10 has a front 13 and rear 15 side with the front side having opposing pivotal leafs 14, 16 increasing the article support area, which provide means to accommodate various size music books while limiting the consumption of desk space. The hinged panels include non-slip pads 30, 32 at each end to provide both improved stability of the stand and protection of the desktop surface. The construction of the music stand 10 may include separate hinges that are bolted or riveted to each panel or may include preformed hinges that are integral 40 to the panels.

Abstract: A soccer board game having a ferromagnetic surface and games pieces incorporating magnets to maintain the selective positioning of the game pieces during a play turn. The game pieces have a contoured magnetic base depending on the positioned played. The top surface of the board has a graphic image of a soccer field and a raised perimeter lip defining the field of play. Opposing goals are provided along with a game ball and sticks. During play the defensive player positions his pieces to block goals while the offensive player uses their game stick to strike the ball in an attempt at scoring a goal.

Abstract: A truss system and method for use in constructing a building structure comprising a first and second truss member connected to one another a distal end thereof thereby forming a peak joint. A cross bar is connected to each of the first and second truss members at an under side of the peak joint and a sleeve is connected to each of the first truss member and the second truss member at an end opposite the peak joint. Upon securing the cross bar to the first and second truss members, a truss unit is formed wherein a support member is received by the sleeves of each one of the truss units, and upon securing the support members to one another, the truss units form a frame of the building structure.

Abstract: The present invention 10 discloses a clothes hanger 12 having roller beads 14 mounted upon the hook portion 22 of the frame. The present invention 10 comprises a lower wire frame 23 which may take the conventional hanger shape or other shapes or styles with the hook portion 22 having bead-like rollers 14 captive thereon. The hanger rolls with ease along the hanger rod 16 making the task of moving heavy clothing 18, such as coats, easy. The rollers 14 can be constructed from a variety of materials and can be of a variety of colors. The rollers can be held captive to the hook portion of the hanger 12 by a hook-shaped roller stop 24 at one distal end and the wrapping of the wire hanger at the other end 28 or by bonding the first and last bead to the hanger.

Located within the breast cup construction are one or more cells of thermal gel packs designed to dispense thermal therapy to the breast, preferably cold therapy. The gel sac or sacs form an integral part of the garment sandwiched between layers of material forming the interior and exterior of the garment. The respective breast cup gel sac can be formed to partially or fully encompass the breast or segmented into a plurality of segregated sacs having padding positioned therebetween forming gel sac support. The garment closure means is easily moved between a worn engaged state and disengaged state for removal.

Abstract: A method and system of visual inspection for use with a gamma system includes a monitoring device connected within a housing proximate to a mechanical indicator of the rotating gamma system for capturing data comprising at least one of positional and operational data associated with the mechanical indicator. A control center monitors the captured data which is provided by a communication device connected between the monitoring device and the control center. Upon display of the captured data a user is able to review, monitor and maintain operation of the gamma system.

Abstract: Apparatus 10 discloses a plurality of hair curlers 40 having means for engaging a hair curling appliance comprising a handle assembly 12 having curler engaging and disengaging means, a circuit for producing a volume of heated air, control means for energizing and de-energizing the circuit, an actuator for engaging a temperature burst and means for tapping a power source. The housing incorporates a handle assembly 12 containing a heating element for electrically heating the air in use, an on/off switch 24, quick release ring 26 and temperature burst button 20. At one distal end of the curling wand 12 is a curler attachment port 30 that allows the user to insert a curler 14 and release the curler by a quick release ring 26. The assembly 12 allows for the use of a variety of different size and style curlers 14. A storage case 38 is provided.
