Abstract: Method 10 discloses a process for creating a pair of athletic shoes having cleats thereon. The process is comprised of taking a first pair of athletic shoes 14 and removing a portion of the sole having cleats therein, the selectively removed portion hereinafter referred to as the cleat plate 22. Then taking a second pair of shoes 18 designated by the user for which shoes they desire to have cleats thereon and creating a cavity 30 within the soles of the second pair of shoes, the cavity conforming substantially to the dimensions of the cleat plate 22, and fixedly attaching the cleat plate to the respective sole by means of fasteners 24, 26 such as screws and/or adhesive 28 that bonds to rubber and plastic surfaces.

Abstract: An apparatus for a portable pop-up carport for automobiles 18, sports utility vehicles and small trucks comprising a foldable frame structure 32 having a light weight waterproof roof 20, side panels of mesh-like material 22 and optional front and rear panels. Bungee cord 24 and hook members 34 are provided to secure and anchor the pop-up carport 10 to the vebicle's bumpers 26 and anchor rings 28 are provided to further secure the device to the ground 30. The device 10 is designed to provide shade from the sun and help cool the air within a vehicle 18 parked beneath the device. When the user is finished with the use of the pop-up 10, they simply fold it up and secure it with a VELCRO, hook and loop, strap 38.

Abstract: An apparatus for dispersing mist in a predetermined area includes means for obtaining water from a water source and means for dispersing the water as mist. A connecting means connects the obtaining means to the dispersing means. Upon the obtaining means obtaining water, water is provided through the connecting means for dispersing by the dispersing means thereby providing a cooling mist therefrom.

Abstract: An apparatus for locating a golf ball during play of a golf game includes a golf ball having a passive transmitter and a mechanism for sensing environmental conditions positioned therein. The apparatus further includes a mechanism for determining and providing a location of the golf ball. A hand-held unit is further provided. The hand held unit includes a mechanism for enabling at least one of the passive transmitter and the environmental sensing mechanism contained within the golf ball. A receiver is contained within the hand-held unit for receiving a location signal from the determining and providing mechanisms. A mechanism positioned on the hand-held unit for indicating to a golfer the location of the golf ball. Upon the location being indicated, the environmental sensing mechanism is able to selectively determine conditions corresponding to the location and provide the conditions to the hand-held unit for further indication to golfer.

Abstract: A wearable massage apparatus is formed from a main body having a first side. At least one massage head is positioned on the first side of the body. The apparatus further includes an arrangement for securing the main body to a user. A control module is connected to the at least one massage head for controlling movement thereof. The massage head on the first side of the main body is positioned adjacent the user's body and upon being secured thereto by the securing arrangement, the control module is selectively activated thereby causing the at least one massage head to oscillate and massage the user.

Abstract: Apparatus 10 provides a combination scissor 18 and lighter 20 for the cutting and sealing of braided synthetic hair 14 made up of a cutting implement having two blades 22, 24 joined by a swivel pin 26 having handles 28, 30 at one distal end. One of the handles 28 has a chamber 36 therein for storing a quantity of a combustible substance therein. The chamber 36 has an input valve 44 for refilling the chamber and an output valve communicating with a conduit 46 extending through the blade 22 to the other distal end. Also located within the handle 28 and extending therefrom is an igniter switch 40 which when depressed opens the output valve on the chamber permitting the combustible substance to escape through the conduit to the distal end 32 of the blade 22. Work in concert with the opening of the valve is an igniter to send a spark to the end of the distal end 32 of the blade 22 whereby the combustible fluid is ignited.

Abstract: Apparatus for a one-piece, rigid paper hanger 16 with sufficient strength to hold a plurality of clothes having a printed color process with UV-coated inks to create two advertising areas 14 that are equal to the entire hanger surface area with detachable advertising cards 12 die cut therein, one on each side of the hanger and a locking mechanism 18 to hold multiple hangers of the same design together. The hanger 16 may be made from one piece of paper without a butterfly fold from paper of sufficient rigidity. In addition, the hook portion of the hanger 16 can have a coding system 22 comprised of bands of color substantially adjacent having a predetermined meaning to the coding system user.

Abstract: Apparatus 10 discloses a sanding block holder incorporating locking tabs 22 used to lock the removable side wall 20 into a compressing state upon the sanding block 16. To release compression on the sponge 16, the tab 22 is simply pushed inward and the removable side wall 20 is then pulled out. Additionally a track 24 with a sliding tab 26 are fabricated to work in cooperation with the handle base 18 and locking tab 22 to provide stability to the removable side wall while sliding into place. An elongated handle 32 pivotally attached at 34 to the handle base 18 is also disclosed.

Abstract: A charging mechanism includes means for generating electrical current and means connected to the generating means for distributing the generated current. At least one battery bank formed from a plurality of batteries is connected in series. A means for charging the batteries is connected between the bank and the distribution means. A voltage controller controls a voltage level provided by at least one battery bank from at least one of exceeding and falling below a predetermined voltage level. Upon the controlling means detecting the voltage level is below the predetermined voltage level, the controlling means causes the generating means to generate the electric current to be provided to at least one battery bank by the distribution means and the charging means charges at least one battery bank.

Abstract: The present invention 10 discloses a tape dispenser having a plurality of spindles 26 that will hold various width tape rolls 14 within a housing 30 containing compartments for the tape rolls. The housing 30 is comprised of a rigid material having a plurality of grooves 28 on opposing walls of the housing for axially mounting spindles 26 holding tape rolls 14 therewith. There are serrated members 20 extending from the housing 30 enabling tape to be sheared into any length needed. Cover 16 also has pivots 22 and a locking element 24.

Abstract: The present invention discloses an audio-visual retrieval and playback apparatus for a single use which has a housing having a viewing screen thereon 22 which can be sealed and packaged 14 having a headphone 16 with a pair of earpiecess 18 along with wiring 20 which connects the headphone to the housing. The present invention has a play button 24, along with a stop button 26 having slot 28 which accepts audiovisual cards along with a pair of ports 30, 32 for interfacing with another computer. Data can be retrieved from an external database having a plurality of audio video data for download. A user views the collection of audio video data and selects an audio video datafile for download to a disposable player that will retain the audio video datafile for later use.

Abstract: An improved cutting board comprising a top surface and a bottom surface. The top surface is bounded by a raised edge curvlinearly extending into a channel encompassing a planar worksurface. At one end the channel pools into a reservoir having a spillway with a lip extending sconce-like and coplanar with the raised edge forming a spout. The bottom side is notched serving as a handhold opposing the spout. The work surface recess that serves to decrease mass is ribbed by a lattice of intersecting walls providing a lightweight product while substantially increasing the work surface load capacity.

Abstract: Apparatus 10 discloses an improved welders helmet having a replaceable lens 16 thereon incorporating an electrically driven fan 14 which receives filtered air through a plurality of air ducts 24 having a filter 22 thereon. A receptacle 20 for containing a battery is disposed on the helmet along with photovoltaic elements 32 for recharging the batteries from the flash of the weld. Lights 30 are also disposed on the helmet.

Abstract: A precision shaft alignment system for establishing concentric alignment of a first rotatably mounted shaft and a second opposed, rotatably mounted shaft that can be configured for stand-alone or retrofitted with an existing measuring system.

Abstract: Apparatus 10 discloses a reusable, washable split cavity fishing lure having a “banana-like” shape that assembles and disassembles by means of snap counter parts 28 and surgical tubing 20. The lure 10 encompasses a hollow cavity 32 having a plurality of scent releasing apertures 26 producing a powerful scent trail that attracts game fish 12. The cavity 32 may be filled with bait 36 or scent pad 34. By adjusting the leader 16 position to one of a plurality of leader apertures 14 the lure 10 is designed to spin at various rates of speed. The present invention 10 also provides for an additional element in the form of posts 48 depending from the base of the lure to prevent hook 18, 22 from getting out of alignment.

Abstract: A satellite entertainment receiver system for receiving satellite broadcasts. The system includes a receiver for receiving the satellite broadcasts, a tuner for tuning the receiver to a satellite broadcast transmitted at a desired frequency, speakers for reproducing audio data within the satellite broadcast; a display screen for displaying information data within the satellite broadcast, the information data including identifying information related to the reproduced audio data; and a microprocessor connected to the tuner and satellite receiver, for processing and decoding the audio and information data within the received satellite broadcast, the microprocessor providing the audio data included within the satellite broadcast to the speaker and the decoded information data to the display screen.

Abstract: An infant eye trainer (10) for a baby bottle (12) comprising a structure (14) for gripping the baby bottle (12). An extension member (16) extends from the gripping structure (14). A visually attractive ornament (18) on a distal free end of the extension member (16), will help keep the eyes (20) of an infant (22) focused in a straight manner towards the ornament (18), thereby preventing the eyes (20) of the infant (22) from crossing when the infant (22) is nursing with the baby bottle (12).
