  • Patent number: 7805788
Abstract: A device to enable a bedridden patient to adjust their position in a bed without additional aid is herein disclosed. The device comprises two (2) “L”-shaped parts connected along a long axis. A first section is placed in between a mattress and footboard, while a second section is laid upon a top of the bed. • Patent number: 7805789
Abstract: An apparatus to assist users in getting in and out of bed is herein disclosed, comprising a handle assembly approximately three (3) feet long and positioned in a horizontal configuration along the frame of the bed. During use, it pivots upward to a vertical configuration at the midpoint of the side of the bed by use of a spring-loaded pivot point. A small release button at the top of the handle allows it to move from its horizontal position to its vertical position and back again. Thus it can aid someone in getting in or out of bed, yet fold away so as to not be noticeable under a bed spread or comforter when not in use. The apparatus is viewed as being ideal for those who may be suffering from back pain or who are unable to lie down or get up without assistance.

  • Patent number: 7805781
Abstract: A guard-style device intended to prevent or hinder access to under bed storage areas is herein disclosed, comprising a series of interlocking panels providing an adjustable rectangular structure that is approximately the size of a bed. The device can be placed under a bed at its perimeter and is held in place to the bed frame by a plurality of connecting features. In such a position, the device reduces dust and dirt from accumulating under a bed, provides an element of increased security for objects that are stored under the bed, and prevents pets such as dogs, cats, and the like from running under the bed during storms or when seeking seclusion. The device also provides a unique visual element; however, it can easily be covered by a dust ruffle should its appearance not be desired.

  • Patent number: 7806280
Abstract: A deployable rod for hanging clothes after removal from a dryer. The apparatus is a circular rod with a hinge mechanism that is attached to a vertical wall surface. In a retracted state, it folds compactly up against the wall. In a deployed state, it extends perpendicularly outward. The apparatus is supported in the extended outward position by a cable that extends from the outer end back to the wall surface at a 45° angle. This cable support system provides strength for holding clothes. A user could remove clothes from a dryer, immediately place them on hangers and then hang them from the employed apparatus in the extended position; however, other articles may be supported in this manner.

  • Patent number: 7807928
Abstract: A cylindrical textile cover for electrical cords with an embedded elastic material to coil a conventional cord and to keep said cord from tangling is herein disclosed. A power cord for a styling appliance, tool, computer or the like, is placed within the elasticized textile cover and secured at both ends leaving a minimal amount of electric cord exposed. Thus, as the user of the appliance needs more cord, one would pull on the cord forcing the cover to stretch out. The maximum length of the cover is limited by the total length of the cord. As the cord is relaxed, the cover retracts upon itself taking on a convenient compact form.
