Abstract: In a fuel cell system, a humidifier is attached to an end plate. A pipe connector of a fluid pipe provided at the end plate such as an oxygen-containing gas inlet manifold and a pipe connector of a fluid pipe of the humidifier such as a humidified air supply pipe are connected through a substantially ring-shaped intermediate pipe. O-rings are attached to annular grooves in the outer circumferential portions of the intermediate pipe. One of the O-rings tightly contacts the inner circumferential surface of the pipe connector of the oxygen-containing gas inlet manifold, and the other of the O-rings tightly contacts the inner circumferential surface of the pipe connector of the humidified air supply pipe.
Abstract: A fuel cell includes electrolyte electrode assembly and separators. An annular member and a ring foil are provided between the separators. The annular member is provided around an outer circumferential portion of the electrolyte electrode assembly, and includes grooves for discharging a first exhaust gas FGoff which has been consumed at an anode to the outside of the electrolyte electrode assembly. The ring foil is provided adjacent to a cathode, and extends from a position between an outer end of the electrolyte electrode assembly to a position between the annular member and the separator.
Abstract: An illumination device for a microscope, in particular for an operation microscope, has a light source with an improved lifetime. The light source is in the form of a gas discharge lamp having a microwave generator, a microwave waveguide and an electrodeless bulb. The bulb contains a luminescent material and is coupled to the microwave waveguide so that microwaves can stimulate the luminescent material to emit light.
Abstract: A lockable enclosure for protecting a pulser of a fuel dispenser including a pulser shaft connecting the pulser to a fuel meter, the enclosure having a first enclosure portion attached to the fuel meter, the first enclosure portion including a base wall, a top wall, a bottom wall, a rear wall, a front wall, a first locking plate extending outwardly from the front wall and a mounting aperture defined by the rear wall. A second enclosure portion is detachably mounted to the first enclosure portion, the second enclosure portion including an outer wall, a top wall, a bottom wall, a rear wall, a front wall, a second locking plate extending outwardly from the front wall and a mounting pin extending inwardly from the rear wall. When the mounting pin of the second enclosure portion is removably received in the mounting aperture defined by the rear wall of the first enclosure portion and the first and second locking plates are adjacent each other to enclose the pulser and pulser shaft within the enclosure.

Abstract: A generic mechanism enabling the programmatic identification of MIBs needed for control of an SNMP agent for a network device is disclosed. The present invention provides for the automatic retrieval of the identified MIBs and their loading onto a network management station (NMS) without user intervention. Additionally, previously known MIBs are programmatically examined to determine whether they require updating. Any required updates may be performed automatically with the updated MIBs being loaded onto the NMS.

Abstract: Disclosed are antagonists of IL-17A and IL-17F. The antagonists are based on soluble IL-17RA and IL-17RC fusion proteins, including hybrid soluble receptors comprising portions of both IL-17RC and IL-17RA (“IL-17RC/IL-17RA”). Such antagonists serve to block, inhibit, reduce, antagonize or neutralize the activity of IL-17F, IL-17A, or both IL-17A and IL-17F. Also disclosed are methods of using such antagonists for treating disease, particularly inflammatory diseases mediated at least in part by IL-17A and/or IL-17F.

Abstract: Human anti-human IL-21 monoclonal antibodies and the hybridomas that produce them are presented. Certain of these antibodies have the ability to bind native human IL-21, a mutant recombinat IL-21 protein and/or peptide regions of human IL-21. These human anti-IL-21 antibodies are useful in therapeutic treatment of autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, particularly diseases mediated by T follicular helper cells, B cells TH cells or TH17 cells.

Abstract: A radio and antenna system has a first microwave radio, second microwave radio, a first antenna and a dual mode coupler that has a first dual mode transmission line extending between a first port and a third port and a second dual mode transmission line extending between a second port and a microwave absorbing termination. The first microwave radio is coupled to the first port. The second microwave radio is coupled to the second port. The antenna is coupled to the third port. The first dual mode transmission line is coupled to the second dual mode transmission line so that microwave signals in either of the first dual mode transmission line and the second dual mode transmission line propagates microwave signals in the other of the first dual mode transmission line and the second dual mode transmission line.
Abstract: A method of actuating a fuel cell system equipped with a fuel cell is disclosed. The fuel cell system is supplied with reaction gases for generating electricity. The method includes the steps of: a first step for actuating the fuel cell in a low-temperature actuation mode to thereby warm up the fuel cell, if a low-temperature actuation condition is satisfied at a start-up of the fuel cell; and a second step for drying a membrane electrode assembly of the fuel cell, if a power generation capacity of the fuel cell is lower than a predetermined power generation capacity.
