Abstract: A method for positioning or guiding at least one arbitrary print head or a printing unit having at least one pressure nozzle for the imprinting of thin substrates such as wafers at a defined distance above the surface of the substrate, which is to be provided on a support like a paddle or printing table. Distance sensors continuously acquired distance measurements to the surface of the substrate which is to be imprinted. An adjustment of the print head up to 6 degrees of freedom is ensured by actuators in such a manner that the section of the opening of the pressure nozzle of the print head can be adjusted so as to be coplanar to the section of the surface of the substrate which is to be imprinted. The print head is thus maintained or readjusted so as to adjust the section of the opening of the pressure nozzle of the print head to the surface of the substrate which is to be positioned on the support table so as to be coplanar and so as to maintain the coplanar position during the printing process.

Abstract: A pair of closed endless elastic rings connected to each other by a length adjustable band lifts the bases of the ears of a floppy eared pet, away from the pet's head and away for the openings to the pet's ear canals to reduce problems of the ear canals such as bacterial and fungal growth.
Abstract: The invention relates to a vacuum measuring cell device comprising a vacuum membrane measuring cell (8) having a connecting means (5, 6) arranged thereon for a communicating connection to the medium to be measured, an electronic system (34), which is electrically connected to the vacuum membrane measuring cell (8), and also comprising a heating arrangement (20, 21) for heating the vacuum membrane measuring cell (8) to a predefinable temperature value, wherein the heating arrangement (20, 21) substantially encloses the entire vacuum membrane measuring cell (8) such that said cell forms a thermal container (20). Said container constitutes a thermal body (20a) in the area of the connecting means (5, 6) and connecting means (6) are guided through it, the connecting means thereby being thermally contacted at least in some areas by the thermal body. The thermal container (20a) comprises a heating source (21) for the heating thereof.

Abstract: The magnetron sputtering arrangement (2) comprises a target arrangement (3) comprising a target (3a1) having a sputtering surface (4) the shape of which defines a first (A1 and a second axis (A2) being mutually perpendicular and being, at least approximately, axes of mirror-symmetry of the sputtering surface; a magnet arrangement (40) generating a magnetic field above said sputtering surface; and a drive (70) adapted to establishing a substantially transitional relative movement between said magnetron magnetic field and said sputtering surface. Said relative movement describes a path (80) defining a third (A3) and a fourth axis (A4) being mutually perpendicular and being, at least approximately, axes of mirror-symmetry of the path (80). Said third axis is at least approximately parallel to said first axis (A3), and said path (80) has at least two pointed corners (81), each corner located on one of said third axis (A3) and said fourth axis (A4).
Abstract: A method achieving a small spatial restriction and capable of simply measuring with high precision a flow rate of a conductive fluid of an electromagnetic pump is provided. In particular, the method is suitable in measuring a flow amount of each electromagnetic pump in an electromagnetic pump unit where a plurality of electromagnetic pumps are arranged in parallel in one pump vessel.

Abstract: A floorplate for a handgun magazine is used for the breakage of glass panes and is manufactured so that it fits all types of handgun magazines without disrupting the overall function of either the magazine or the handgun. The floorplate has a hole in which a pin is incorporated. The floorplate, when placed on the magazine of the handgun, allows the magazine to be also used as a hand tool for the breakage of glass panes. Additionally, when the magazine with the floorplate and incorporated pin is placed inside the handgun, it allows the handgun to be also used as a hammer-like tool for the breakage of glass panes.
Abstract: The invention relates to a stator for an electronically switchable electric motor comprising a cylinder-shaped envelop and several poles, which are made of an ferromagnetic material and inwardly oriented in front of the cylinder axis (3), wherein said poles (P1 to P12) surround a cylindrical cavity for receiving the rotor (2), each pole (P1 to P12) is provided with a coil (L1 to L12) consisting of several wire windings in such a way that a magnetic armature is formed and the windings of coils (L1 to L12) are wound about the poles (P1 to P12) successively and without interruptions.

Abstract: An acoustic generator of pressure pulsations includes a cylindrical waveguide which is caused to vibrate at a low amplitude by an electromechanical transducer. The vibration of the cylindrical waveguide creates low amplitude pressure pulsations in an acoustic chamber containing stationary pressure fluid. A mechanical amplifier, which is part of the acoustic chamber, amplifies the low amplitude pressure pulsations generated by the cylindrical waveguide.
Abstract: Equipment for thermochemical treatment of steels and alloys in gaseous mediums with automatic control includes a heating furnace with/without a muffle, a process gas catalyst impact block located in the furnace, a mechanism for supply, mixing, proportioning and extraction of process gases and a device of indirect monitoring and control of the nitrogen potential in the furnace atmosphere. The device of indirect monitoring and control of the nitrogen potential in the furnace atmosphere is an oxygen sensor, a secondary transducer with indication of the nitrogen potential in weight units of nitrogen content in iron and an actuator, while the process gas catalyst impact block is located in the furnace on the process gas supply line. The technical result achieved is that reliability and stability of processes are significantly increased, as well as the period of nitriding is reduced due to integrated process automation that is available.

Abstract: A flange connection has two pipe ends (1?, 2?, 51?, 52?) on each of which one flange (1, 2, 51, 52) is disposed and which have flange faces (11, 11?, 61, 61?) and a centering ring (33, 34) with an elastomer sealing ring (14) in contact with the ring. Both flanges include a mechanism for the detachable clamping against one another such that the flange faces (11, 11?, 61, 61?) are in contact on the centering ring and thereby are held at a predetermined flange distance (10, 60, D). The elastomer sealing ring (14) is pressed on the flange faces (11, 11?, 61, 61?) in the direction of the pipe axes (15) forming a seal, wherein the centering ring (33, 34) is positioned such that it is at least partially in contact on the periphery of the flanges (1, 2, 51, 52).

Abstract: A sequential brake light system for road vehicles has a brake light array of plural lights in a linear, concentric or radial series. A master and slave controllers are connected to the array for lighting the lights in sequence and repeatedly at a rate that is proportional to a deceleration of the vehicle upon braking. A speed sensor senses the instantaneous vehicle speed and deactivates the master controller if the speed is below a threshold value so that the array is not powered in stop-and-go traffic. A brake position sensor senses a position of the vehicle brake pedal and an accelerometer measures deceleration of the vehicle, so that the master controller receives signals corresponding to the instantaneous speed of the vehicle, a signal corresponding to the position of the brake pedal and a signal corresponding to the deceleration of the road vehicle for properly warning a trailing drive of the braking condition of the road vehicle.
