Abstract: A cam drive is provided for a valve-controlled mixture-lubricated internal combustion engine having a cylinder in which is formed a combustion chamber that is delimited by the cylinder wall, a piston and a cylinder head. Disposed in the cylinder head are poppet valves, the respective valve shafts of which are driven via a pivotable rocker arm from a valve control that includes a control cam on the surface of which rests a contact lever that transfers cam lift to one end of the rocker arm. To ensure good lubrication of the cam drive even at high speeds, the control cam is rotatably mounted in the vicinity of the cylinder wall, in which is formed a through-bore. The first open end of the through-bore is disposed in the cylinder bore at the level of the piston in its lower dead center position, while the second open end opens into the cam chamber in the vicinity of the control cam.

Abstract: The present invention provides a removably securable blind or awning having solar modules for converting solar energy into another energy form. The awning has an electrolyzer and fuel cells, or a reformer and fuel cells, for additional storage of that surplus energy produced by the solar modules for which the customarily provided storage elements lack sufficient storage capacity. Hydrogen and oxygen tanks, electrolyzers, reformers, and fuel cells can be disposed by appropriate measures in the available space in and/or on the frame body of the awnings such that space outside of the awnings for such items need only be found on an exception basis. The storage and release from storage of energy is regulated by a bus system. Water from one of a number of different sources can be conducted to the electrolyzer via guide drains mounted on the awnings and/or via other assemblies.
Abstract: A manually guided implement having an air-cooled internal combustion engine for driving a tool is provided. Disposed between an output shaft of the internal combustion engine and the tool is a centrifugal clutch, whereby a flywheel portion of the clutch and a fan wheel are fixedly disposed on the output shaft. The flywheel portion is secured on a suction side of the fan wheel that is provided with guide vanes.
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing a container designed to transport and store radioactive material. The invention further relates to a container which is used to transport and store radioactive material. First and foremost, claim is laid to the selection of a heavy concrete and a special technique for inserting the heavy concrete between metall walls.

Abstract: An implement is provided and has a drive motor secured to one end of a carrying tube and connected via a drive shaft in the tube with the other end of the tube. A first handle is disposed on the tube in the vicinity of the drive motor and is spaced from a second handle. To support the forearm of an operator, a supporting device is provided that extends in the longitudinal direction of the carrying tube in the direction toward the drive motor. The longitudinal axis of the supporting device forms an angle of less than 90° with the carrying tube and is open toward the drive motor.
Abstract: An apparatus for securing an aerating device, for aerating water with fine bubbles, to an air supply conduit is provided. The aerating device is detachably connected to a mounting that is secured to an air supply conduit. The mounting is provided with an undercut groove into which engages the projection of the aerating device in the manner of a dovetail connection, thereby providing a horizontal insertion movement of the aerating device.
Abstract: A device and method for thermally treating substrates. A substrate is heated by a heating plate to improve thermal homogeneity. The heating plate is heated using a number of separately controlled heating elements. The temperature of the heating elements is measured and the heating process is controlled by a PID controller. In addition, the temperature of the substrate surface facing away from the heating plate is locally measured. The temperature distribution over the substrate surface is determined according to the measured temperatures and set values for the temperature of the individual heating elements are determined and transmitted to the PID controller.
