  • Patent number: 8169429
Abstract: The object of the present invention is reducing power consumption of a driving power supply circuit. In the case where the driving voltage Vi is higher than the reference voltage ViH, The signal S3P, S3N of the differential amplifier 30P, 30N become level “L” concurrently, and the signal S4P, S4N of the output circuit 40P, 40N become level “H”. Subsequently, the NMOS 62 becomes on-state and decreases the driving voltage Vi of the node N6. • Patent number: 8167101
Abstract: A shock absorber comprises a first passage (2a, 2b) and a second passage (15) connecting a first fluid chamber (41) and a second fluid chamber (42). A throttle (12, 14) narrows an inflow of fluid to the first passage (2a, 2b) according to an applied displacement pressure. The displacement pressure includes a fluid pressure in one of the two fluid chambers (41, 42) and a pressure that depends on a velocity of the fluid flow through the throttle (12, 14). A spring (25, 29) biases the throttle (12, 14) in the opposite direction to narrow the fluid flow. The second passage (15) comprises a pair of orifices (16a, 17a). By exerting a pressure between the pair of orifices (16a, 17a) on the throttle (12, 14) in the opposite direction to narrow the fluid flow, the spring load required of the spring (25, 29) is reduced.

  • Patent number: 8169459
Abstract: The disclosure discloses a compensation method in a radial direction on a label side of an optical disc. An optical disc is inserted into an optical disk drive. The data side of the optical disc is divided into at least one compensation area. An optical pick-up head (OPU) is moved from inner to outer rings by simulating a writing process. The OPU is moved to some pre-determined points and radial-directional compensation is performed to obtain radial-directional voltage gains at the pre-determined points. The voltage gains are recorded. The label side of an optical disc is inserted into the optical disk drive. The simulated track number is calculated on the basis of the required moving distance for the OPU to write pattern on the label side. The OPU is moved to write the label side by a radial-directional lens driving voltage compensated with a gain obtained from a compensation formula.

  • Patent number: 8169444
Abstract: A bit block transfer (Bitblt) circuit includes a read register, a write register, a bit shifting circuit and an overflowing register. The read register stores decomposition data including original data. The bit shifting circuit shifts the decomposition data in the read register to the write register and shifts bits of the decomposition data in the write register such that an initial bit of the original data of the decomposition data is situated apart from an initial address of the write register by a bit-shifting amount. The overflowing register coupled to the write register stores overflowing data of the original data overflowing from a memory length of the write register when the bits of the decomposition data in the write register are being shifted. The write register outputs and writes the decomposition data therein to a memory cell of a first memory.

  • Patent number: 8163630
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a semiconductor device by thinning a substrate by grinding, and performing ion implantation. In a diode in which a P anode layer and an anode electrode are formed at a side of a right face of an N? drift layer, and an N+ cathode layer and a cathode electrode are formed at a side of a back face of the N? drift layer, an N cathode buffer layer is formed thick compared with the N+-type cathode layer between the N?-type drift layer and the N+ cathode layer, the buffer layer being high in concentration compared with the N? drift layer, and low compared with the N+ cathode layer. When a reverse bias voltage is applied, a depletion layer is stopped in the middle of the N cathode buffer layer, and thus prevented from reaching the N+ cathode layer, so that the leakage current is suppressed.
