Abstract: A column hole cover is interposed between a circumferential portion of an aperture of a column hole of an instrument panel and a steering gear box capable of being displaced in a predetermined direction. The column hole cover includes a cylindrical main body extended in the predetermined direction. The main body includes a first annular end portion directly or indirectly fixed to the steering gear box, and a second annular end portion. The second end portion is provided with an annular seal. An intermediate portion between the first and second end portions is provided with a expandable/contractible portion capable of being elastically expanded or contracted in the predetermined direction. Irrespective of the displacement of the steering gear box, the annular seal is maintained in an elastic pressure contact against the circumferential portion of the aperture of the instrument panel by a reaction force of the compressed expandable/contractible portion.
Abstract: A semiconductor apparatus includes a substrate; m electrically conductive layers formed on the substrate, m being an integer of 2 or more, potentials of the m electrically conductive layers being capable of being independently controlled; and semiconductor thin films having at least one semiconductor device respectively. The semiconductor thin films are bonded on surfaces of the m electrically conductive layers respectively.
Abstract: A method for dynamically adjusting parameter values of part heights to verify the distances between parts is provided. The method comprises, inputting multiple sets of limiting conditions for part heights through a setting interface; and verifying whether the parts are appropriately positioned in a circuit diagram according to the limiting conditions for part heights, thereby upgrading the quality of design of the printed circuit board and enhancing the reliability of electronic products.
Abstract: An optical head to access data on an optical recording medium, which has two data storage densities, includes two sets of optical path systems to provide two optical paths that are crossed. Each optical path system includes a laser light generation unit, a light guiding unit, a converging objective lens and a photo detector. The light guiding unit is located on the optical path of the laser light generation unit, to direct the laser light to pass through the converging objective lens and focus on the data side of the optical recording medium to carry optical data signals from the data side. The laser light returns to the light guiding unit and travels along the optical path and is received by the photo detector.

Abstract: A media transfer mechanism applicable to printers, scanners or multi-function printers is disclosed. The mechanism includes a media-feeding path having at least a pickup roller and a feeding roller for transferring the media to be scanned or printed. Particularly, a block member is installed between the pickup roller and the feeding roller and a little below the feeding roller. Therefore, when the pickup roller reverses to withdraw the media to touch the block member, the media enters a turnover path connected with the media-feeding path. After that, the media transferred by the pickup roller and the feeding roller of the media-feeding path is further processed with the second side scanning or printing.
Abstract: A liposome formulation for stably incorporating high content of hydrophobic substance is disclosed. The liposome includes two phospholipids with different phase transition temperatures such as saturated and unsaturated phosphatidyl cholines, hydrophobic substances, cholesterol, cholesterol derivatives, antioxidant and hydrophilic polymer-modified lipids such as MPEG-DSPE.

Abstract: The invention provides a power-on reset circuit capable of outputting a reset signal again and reducing an influence exerted upon the reset signal caused by the variation in a manufacturing process when a power supply potential lowers. The power-on reset circuit comprises (a) a first transistor circuit comprising first transistors connected between first and second potentials and to which a first current flows depending on a voltage between these potentials, (b) a second transistor circuit comprising second transistors having an on resistance which is smaller than that of the first transistors and a resistor serially connected to the second transistors, said second transistors and the resistor being connected between the first and second potentials, to which a second current flows depending on a voltage between these potentials, and (c) an output circuit for outputting a reset signal when the first current is greater than the second current upon comparison between the first and second currents.
Abstract: An ultraviolet detector/indicator comprises of a column, hemisphere, cake, or wire where a light receiving front and a light emitting front are respectively installed on the two ends with connections, and a light guide unit, which contains the material that strengthens the ultraviolet or adjusts the spectrum is installed between the two fronts. According to the foregoing structure, the ultraviolet detector/indicator installed in the enclosure of an ultraviolet sterilization apparatus is exempted from the external power source for transferring invisible ultraviolet into visible light. In addition, a calorimetric scale printed with various color shades is installed to assist the user in verifying the ultraviolet strengths should aging or damage of the ultraviolet lamp fail functions of the apparatus. Furthermore, an interface connecting to the enclosure is installed to facilitate the replacement of ultraviolet detector/indicator.
Abstract: A composite conductive film and a semiconductor package using such film are provided. The composite conductive film is formed of a polymer-matrix and a plurality of nano-sized conductive lines is provided. The composite conductive film has low resistance, to connect between a fine-pitch chip and a chip in a low temperature and low pressure condition. The conductive lines are parally arranged and spaced apart from each other, to provide anisotropic conductivity. The present conductive film can be served as an electrical connection between a fine-pitch chip and a chip or a fine-pitch chip and a substrate.

Abstract: A power system of controllable transmission incorporated with an engine running at fixed speed that controls the engine to run at a fixed speed or approaching a fixed speed within an rpm range with higher BSFC (braking specific fuel consumption) when the engine is started up from static status and in the accelerated drive from low rpm, the output end of the engine drives to achieve active control of the controllable front-end gearbox that is capable of executing variable or invariable gear shift so to activate the output end to execute accelerated drive output from low to high rpm; meanwhile, in the course of start-up and acceleration from lower to high rpm and in driving operation, the engine runs in an rpm range with higher BSFC for saving fuel.
Abstract: The present invention provides a piezoelectrically driven optical lens module. The piezoelectrically driven optical lens module includes at least a lens body, a guiding rod for providing an axial movement track, a piezoelectric element for providing driving force, and an elastic element for providing the piezoelectric element with pre-load, so as to allow the piezoelectric element to be in contact with the guiding rod. The lens body includes at least an enclosed hollow structure, a lens barrel axially moveable and fixed to the enclosed hollow structure, and a lens element fixed to the lens barrel. The piezoelectric element is in contact with the guiding rod via the elastic elements, and the piezoelectric element is used for driving the lens barrel to move linearly along the guiding rod. The present invention provides a piezoelectrically driven optical lens module with a simple structure, to overcome the drawbacks of the prior art.

Abstract: A wind-tunnel type power generator includes an outer cover, a turbine rotor, an air escape valve, and at least a rear fin. The outer cover is a convergent-divergent shape and the turbine rotor is installed into an inner flowing path thereof, the air escape valve is installed on the outer cover and the rear fin is installed on the surface of the outer cover. The acceleration of the outer cover, the higher efficiency of the turbine rotor, and the reducing pressure of the air escape valve is to gain the wider operation area, smaller space, lower weight, lower noise, and higher efficiency of the wind-tunnel type power generator.

Abstract: A device for paper separating and guiding is provided for separating a first paper sheet from a plurality of second paper sheets, and guiding the first paper sheet into a paper-feeding apparatus. The device includes a first inclined surface and a second inclined surface adjacent to each other. The first inclined surface is used for arranging the first paper sheet and a part of the second paper sheets stepwise, so that the first paper sheet located at the top layer is protruding forwards. The second inclined surface is used for blocking the other second paper sheets to maintain the paper sheets on the first inclined surface to be arranged stepwise, so that the process for paper separating and guiding is accomplished.
Abstract: An IP (Internet Protocol) telephone terminal includes a communication subsection transmitting and receiving data to and from one or more IP telephone terminals on a peer-to-peer connection over an IP network, and a search subsection comparing a telephone number received by the communication subsection with a telephone number allotted to the IP telephone terminal. When the result from comparison indicates a coincidence between both of the telephone numbers under comparison, the communication subsection transmits the IP address assigned thereto. The IP address thus transmitted efficiently allows a call connection to be set up from a calling telephone terminal having transmitted the telephone number.
