Abstract: A surface dresser for removing contaminants includes a body assembly with a stationary seat and an adjustable assembly with a dressing wheel. The adjustable assembly is rotatably mounted on an outer periphery of the stationary seat. Two pairs of pin holes are defined in the stationary seat, and a flexible pin with two short ends is movably mounted in each pair of pin holes. A latch is slidably attached on the outer periphery of the stationary seat and has two clamping holes and two detents corresponding to two adjacent pin holes. When the adjustable assembly is rotated relative to the body assembly by a specific angle, the flexible pins selectively engage the clamping holes and the detents in the latch to lock the adjustable assembly. Consequently, the angle of the dressing wheel is adjustable to accommodate various requirements.
Abstract: A locking device has a base, a positioning element, a positioning frame, a cable and a lock assembly. The base has a positioning tab and a squeezing device. The positioning element is attached to the bottom of the base configured for the base being attached to an object. The positioning frame is pivotally attached to the base and has a telescopic body. The cable is moveably received in the base and has one end extending out from the base and provided by a hook to connect to the positioning frame. The lock assembly is mounted in the base and detachably locks the cable. Accordingly, a PDA and a charging base can be securely held on the base with the positioning frame and the cable. This can keep the PDA and the charging base from being unauthorizedly moved.
Abstract: A ratchet wrench and lighting circuit arrangement includes a ratchet wrench, the ratchet wrench having a hollow ratchet driving member mounted in a box at one end thereof, a holder shell fitted into the ratchet driving member and detachably secured thereto by a screw joint, and a lighting circuit assembly installed in the holder shell and controlled to emit light through a lens at a bottom side of the ratchet driving member.
Abstract: A pair of eyeglasses comprises a frame comprising two first lens, two bifurcated first end pieces each including a channel, and a cavity in a bridge; two replaceable lens frames each comprising a second lens (e.g., tinted lenses), a second end piece at one end, the second end piece being threadedly fastened in the channel, a rear tab at the other end releasbly fastened in the cavity, and at least one ridge on the tab, the ridge being urged against inside of the cavity; and two temple pieces each having a forward connecting end pieces pivotably, threadedly fastened in the channel.
Abstract: Apparatus (10) for recovering fumes from a roofing kettle (12) includes a fan (72) for drawing air from the hollow interior of a housing (20). A conduit (34) extends through the housing front wall (22) and terminates in the hollow interior. A burner assembly (44) is disposed within the conduit (34) for providing a flame within the conduit (34). The housing side wall (30) includes a fresh air intake (78). A flexible metal hose (80) extends between the outer free end of the conduit (34) and the roofing kettle (12). Rotation of the fan (72) causes air to be drawn from the interior of the housing (20) and in turn through the fresh air intake (78), through the conduit (34) and the hose (80) from the interior of the kettle (12), and through the duct (46) and tube (58) of the burner assembly (44).
Abstract: A process forms electrical interconnects between memory bits in a magnetoresistive memory device. An initial dielectric layer is formed to overlie a semiconductor substrate. A magnetoresistive storage layer is formed over the initial dielectric layer. An electrically conductive stop layer that is selective to etch processes and is mechanically hard is deposited over the magnetoresistive storage layer. A hardmask layer is formed to overlie the stop layer. The hardmask layer is etched to expose the stop layer. The stop layer and the magnetoresistive storage layer are etched using ion milling until the initial dielectric layer is exposed, defining individual magnetoresistive memory bits. An isolation layer is formed over the hardmask layer and in the etch regions between magnetoresistive bits. The isolation layer is planarized using chemical mechanical polish (CMP) until the stop layer is exposed.

Abstract: An integral computer comprises a monitor and computer assembly, a modular assembly having spaces for receiving components and peripherals and for future expansion, a front frame mechanism, and a rear cover. In another embodiment, the computer further comprises a lower support device comprising a pedestal having magnetic members for magnetically coupled to a keyboard, and a support plate integrally formed with the computer, the support plate being releasably secured to the pedestal. The invention can easily effect an angle adjustment of the monitor about the pedestal, a horizontal turning and height adjustment of the monitor, or a movement of the computer.
Abstract: A wrench comprises a rod, a retainer, a pressing member, and a casing for accommodating the retainer and allowing relative pivotal movement between the casing and the retainer. The pressing member is received in the casing and slidable along a longitudinal direction of the rod. The pressing member is biased to press against two ends of the retainer, thereby exerting an engaging force between each of two ends of the retainer and an associated one of the ends of the pressing member. When a rotational force applied to the casing is smaller than the engaging force, the retainer and the rod are turned to thereby turn the fastener. When a rotational force applied to the casing is greater than the engaging force, the casing and the pressing member slide while the retainer and the rod are not turned.
Abstract: A resilient retainer ring comprises at least two pressing sections and at least one engaging section. Each pressing section presses against a bottom wall defining an annular groove in a receiving compartment of a screwdriver shank when the retainer ring is mounted in the annular groove of the screwdriver shank. The engaging section is exposed to at least one corner of the receiving compartment such that the engaging section has at least a portion engaged in a retaining groove of a bit when an end of the bit is received in the receiving compartment of the screwdriver shank.
Abstract: A cosmetic powder case includes a case body having a lip wall. The lip wall has a position slot at interior side thereof and an order slot at exterior side thereof. The order slot has a locking slot thereon. A separate disk has an axial hole at central, channel portions around the axial hole, and a lock sidewall at the edge thereof which has position flange at exterior side thereof and a ring slot at interior side thereof. The ring slot has position blocks therein. A rotatable disk has an axial rod at bottom side thereof, channels located around the axial rod, and an L-shaped lock flange extended from the edge thereof. The lock flange has a ring rib at distal end of interior side thereof, and a puff has a band thereon for facilitating user to grip.
