  • Patent number: 6695595
Abstract: A pump includes a cylinder, a piston assembly, a first nozzle, a valve, a controller, a ring and a second nozzle. The cylinder defines first and second chambers and first and second channels for communication between the chambers. The piston assembly is received in the first chamber. The first nozzle defines a channel. The valve is received in the first chamber. The controller defines an axial channel and a radial channel communicated with the axial channel, and is received in the second chamber and linked to the valve through the second channel. The controller is movable between a first position for allowing the valve to seal the second channel and a second position for driving the valve to open the second channel. The ring is mounted on the controller so as to divide the second chamber into a first portion for communication between the first channel and the channel of the first nozzle and a second portion for communication between the second channel and the radial channel of the controller.

  • Patent number: 6695630
Abstract: A connector assembly for a memory module includes a body having two standing pivot seats and two fasteners pivotally connected to the two pivot seats respectively. Each standing pivot seat has two recessed guides and two through pivot holes communicating with two recessed guides. Each fastener has a front and rear wall. Each front and rear wall has a protruding detent and a pivot pin. The protruding detents and the pivot pins correspond to the two recessed guides respectively. The pivot pins are inserted into the two through pivot holes when the fastener is mounted in the standing pivot seat so the fastener can pivot in the standing pivot seat to easily mount the memory module. In addition, the protruding detents press against the two recessed guides to hold the position of the fastener in the standing pivot seat, so the fastener can securely hold the memory module.

  • Patent number: 6684452
Abstract: A carpet extractor (10) operable in either a restorative cleaning mode or a maintenance cleaning mode includes a constant rate pump (96) which dispenses clean solution through a manually operated valve (98) to one of two lines (100, 102) having nozzles which restrict dispensing to high and low solution flow rates. In the preferred form, clean solution is dispensed at the high flow rate directly upon the carpeted surface and at the low rate upon the agitating brush (88). When restorative cleaning is desired, the valve (98) is manually moved to dispense at the high flow rate and a switch (110) is also manually moved resulting in the chassis (18) being propelled at a slow working speed. When maintenance cleaning is desired, the valve (98) is manually moved to dispense at the low flow rate and the switch (110) is also manually moved resulting in the chassis (18) being propelled at a fast working speed.

  • Patent number: 6683785
Abstract: A mobile rack for hard disk drive has a removable cartridge with guiding rails, a pull back spring, a pivot block, a mounting bracket, and a driver door held by a pivot block. The driver door is set in with two base blocks, wherein each block contains a slider, wherein each slider is attached to a sliding plate for fitting against the corresponding sliding rails in the base block. Each slider has a latching pin extending out from the lateral side of the driver door to lock in the mobile rack. The pair of sliders is used to release the latching pins from the mounting bracket. When the driver door is opened outward, tension applied on the pull back spring automatically forces out the removable cartridge from the mounting bracket to make it easier to remove the hard disk drive from the computer.
