Abstract: A manual stretcher includes a frame, a shaft, a ratchet, a claw, a joint and a crank. The frame includes two lateral plates, an intermediate plate interconnecting the lateral plates and a hole defined in each of the lateral plates. The frame can be attached to an external structure so that the manual stretcher can be retained in position in operation. The shaft includes a slot defined therein for receiving a portion of a strip of work to be stretched. The shaft is inserted trough the holes. The ratchet is mounted on an end of the shaft. The claw is pivotally mounted on one of the lateral plates of the frame for engagement with the ratchet. The joint is mounted on another end of the shaft for engagement with the crank for rotation of the shaft. The shaft includes two halves. The ratchet includes two meniscus holes defined therein for receiving the halves of the shaft. The joint includes two meniscus recesses defined in an end thereof for receiving the halves of the shaft.

Abstract: A wrench comprises a rod comprising a driving portion for engaging with a fastener, a retainer having an end securely engaged with the rod to move therewith, and a casing comprising a compartment for accommodating the retainer. The casing comprises a retaining section defining a retaining space for retaining the other end of the retainer in place. When a rotational force applied to the casing is smaller than an engaging force between the retaining section of the casing and a retaining device that is attached between the retaining section and the retainer, the retainer and the rod are turned to thereby turn the fastener. When a rotational force applied to the casing is greater than the engaging force, the casing slides while the retainer and the rod are not turned.

Abstract: A concealable buckle apparatus includes a supporting element, a buckle, a locking device and a panel. The buckle is pivotally mounted on the supporting element between an extended position and a concealed position. The locking device is movably mounted on the supporting element between a locking position for locking the buckle in the concealed position and a releasing position. The panel is mounted on the supporting element and defining an opening through which the buckle extends in the extended position and a slot through which the locking device is accessible.

Abstract: A wrench includes a handle and a head extended from the handle. The handle includes a transverse receptacle communicated with a hole in the head and a cavity that communicates with the transverse receptacle. Two pawls are mounted in the transverse receptacle and each include a first side for releasably engaging with a drive member in the hole of the head and a second side abutting against an inner longitudinal wall of the transverse receptacle. A switch member is rotatably mounted in the cavity of the handle and includes an actuating portion for selectively moving one of the pawls to a position not engaging with the drive member. The switch member further includes two support portions for selectively supporting a portion of the other pawl that disengages from the inner longitudinal wall of the transverse receptacle, thereby supporting the other pawl that engages with the drive member.

Abstract: A chain is composed of multiple units each having two outer plates, two inner plates and a pin securely connecting the outer plates to the inner plates. The inner plate has two hollow cones oppositely formed on two sides of the inner plate and two tubes each formed on a corresponding one of the hollow cones. A space between an inner face of the hollow cone and the tube is defined to receive therein oil. A rivet hole is defined to align with a pin hole in the outer plate. Therefore, after the outer plates and the inner plates are combined by the pin, the oil inside the chain unit is able to gradually flow out of the chain to lubricate the parts.

Abstract: A depression container comprises a vessel including a compartment and a cover for enclosing and thus sealing the compartment. An air pump draws air out of the compartment and a pressure-activated switch controls on/off of the air pump. The pressure-activated switch detects an internal pressure in the compartment. The air pump is turned on when the internal pressure is higher than a predetermined first pressure value. The air pump is turned off when the internal pressure is lower than a predetermined second pressure value. In an alternative embodiment, the pressure-activated switch detects a pressure difference resulting from a closing motion of the cover on the vessel and turns the air pump on to thereby draw air out of the compartment of the vessel. The air pump is turned off when an internal pressure in the compartment detected by the pressure-activated switch is lower than a predetermined pressure value.

Abstract: A sunshade comprises a supporting rod, a tube supported by the supporting rod, an elbow connected to an end of the tube, and a canopy support frame. A vertical section of the elbow includes two spaced lugs having a space therebetween, an upper wall defining the space including a toothed section. The canopy support frame includes an upper support base having ribs attached thereto for supporting a canopy, a lower support base having stretchers attached thereto for supporting the ribs, and a suspension member fixed to the upper support base to move therewith. The suspension member includes a toothed portion for releasable engagement with the toothed section of the elbow. The toothed portion of the suspension member is engaged with the toothed section of the elbow when the canopy reaches a fully open state.

Each handle has a handle drive slot and each blade has a blade drive slot. The rotatable connector consists of two connecting plates. Each connecting plate has an elongated hole defined in the connecting plate and has a transverse abutting plate formed on an edge of the connecting plate adjacent to the transverse abutting plate of the other connecting plate. A pivot hole is defined in each abutting plate, and a shaft passes through the pivot holes. Two shaft hubs hold opposite ends of the shaft, and a pin secured under each hub passes through the drive slots in the handles or the blades. The blades are able to rotate around the shaft and be operated by the handles by moving the shaft longitudinally.

At least one fastener is driven through the at least one hole of the first shell into the at least one hole of the stereo. The first shell includes an external side and a recess defined in the external side for receiving the stereo. The stereo includes a front side flush with the external side of the first shell.

When a rotational force applied to the casing is smaller than an engaging force between the slide control member and the end of the retaining device, the slide control member and the rod are turned to thereby turn the fastener. When a rotational force applied to the casing is greater than the engaging force between the slide control member and the end of the retaining device, the casing slides while the slide control member and the rod are not turned.

A passage is longitudinally defined through the head. A tubular part is formed at a rear end of the inner sleeve. A chamber is defined in the tubular part and in communication with the passage. A flange is formed between the head and the tubular part. A tapering recess of which a cross section is polygonal is defined between the passage and the chamber. An outer sleeve covers on the tubular part of the inner sleeve. A core extends through the passage, the tapering recess, and the chamber.
