Abstract: A wall closure for use in conjunction with a roof system is defined by an integral unit fabricated from a non-corrosive, durable material and having a generally M-shaped configuration to provide an anchoring flange for attachment to the top of a vertical wall or parapet, an upper flange defining a mounting base for attachment of a wall coping, and an intermediate portion between the anchoring flange and the upper flange creating depth therebetween for ventilation of the roof system.

Abstract: A cover sized and configured for mating attachment to the end bell of a motor housing, between the end bell and the seal plate of a water pump housing, is structured and disposed to catch and drain water exteriorly of the motor housing, thereby preventing water from entering the motor housing and damaging components therein. The cover includes a front face having a concave portion defining a dish, a convex rear face, a peripheral flange surrounding the dish, and a downwardly depending lip for draining water from the dish. A central zone of the dish includes a raised annular hub with a centrally disposed aperture for passage of the motor's shaft therethrough.

Abstract: A data processing system and method are provided for allocating all expenditures, accrued interest attributable to each expenditure, and payments made by respective credit cardholders, to sub-accounts specifically designated by the cardholder. In a preferred embodiment, at the time of each expenditure, the cardholder electronically enters the sub-account to which the expenditure is to be allocated with the use of an electronic device having a keypad and display. The data processing system allocates to each designated sub-account all expenditures specified, as well as all interest charges that accrue as to each designated sub-account to which the interest charges are attributable. The data processing system further allocates payments made by the cardholder to the designated sub-account(s) according to the cardholder's instructions and calculates interest charges allocable to each designated sub-account as adjusted after each payment.

Abstract: The present invention 10 discloses a forearm support member or saddle 16 which is placed under the forearm of the user near the hand grip 18 whereby the user has better control of the fishing rod. The saddle member 16 is designed to relieve stress on the wrist of the user and to aid the user in fighting bigger fish. The saddle member 16 is also used to control the pressure on the rod from the underarm area of the user for use when the user is bottom fishing with the rod. Also shown is a rod member 12 having a longer rear portion 14 and a shorter front portion 20 having an angular hand grip 18 thereinbetween and further having a saddle member 16 mounted thereon. A locking member 34, 36, 38 is shown for placement of the fishing reel 26 onto the forward member 20. Also, the forward rod member 20 has an aperture 40 or other means for receiving the butt of a fishing rod or fishing rod blank.

Abstract: A training apparatus has a primary frame structure including a pair of base members, first and second vertical post assemblies each including a lower vertical post member attachable to a respective base member and an upper vertical post member telescopically received within the lower vertical post members and selectively positionable relative thereto to adjust a height of a top end of the upper vertical post member, and a horizontal cross beam assembly including a pair of elongate cross beam members. The top ends of the upper vertical post members are provided with receptacles for receipt of outboard ends of the cross beam members so that the horizontal cross beam assembly spans between the spaced apart vertical post assemblies at a selected, adjusted height above the floor.

Abstract: A system for launching precision guided munitions (PGMs), artillery rockets/missiles, and cruise missiles from an aircraft includes a mobile unit having a storage compartment provided with a rack assembly arranged to define multiple tiers for storing munition ejection containers (MECs) therein. An elevator apparatus raises and lowers a tray between the tiers in order to load and remove the MECs from predetermined storage positions on the multiple tier rack assembly. Each MEC is structured to encapsulate one or more PGMs, artillery rockets/missiles, or cruise missiles and includes forward and rear end plates attached to longitudinal side panels. Pre-formed packing inserts protectively surround and stabilize the missile(s) contained in the MEC. An ejection ramp extends from the aft end of the mobile unit for individually directing the MECs through a cargo door of the aircraft for ejection therefrom.

Abstract: An electromechanical lock includes a housing containing a microcontroller, a power source, a cam, and a locking lever for holding a U-shaped lock bar in a closed, locked position within the housing. The lock further includes several buttons on the housing for entering a sequence of alphanumeric characters of a combination code and a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) for showing the alphanumeric characters, independently, when entering the code. Messages may also be displayed, including advertisements and company logos, upon completion of a correct code entry to open the lock. The microcontroller stores one or more combination codes and message data and controls actuation of the cam, upon entry of the correct combination code, to momentarily release the lever from the lock bar, allowing the lock bar to be pulled out from the housing, thereby opening the lock.

Abstract: A device for supporting a roll of toilet paper on a bedside commode includes a dowel pin maintained between opposite arm members. The dowel pin is specifically sized and configured for removable receipt through the hollow core tube of a conventional roll of toilet paper. The arm members extend from the dowel pin and removably attach to the frame structure of the bedside commode in a manner which supports the toilet paper roll in convenient reach of a person seated on the commode, thereby permitting sheets of paper to be pulled and separated from the roll as the roll rotates about the dowel pin.

Abstract: A driver courtesy device includes a first unit attachable to the dashboard or steering console of an automobile, within reach of the driver of the automobile, and a display unit mounted adjacent the rear window or one of the side windows of the automobile. The first unit includes a signal transmitter actuated by the driver. The display unit includes an upstanding member resembling an arm and hand, a signal receiver, and a motor actuated for a predetermined operational period upon receipt of the signal transmitted by the first unit. An interposer converts rotary motion of the actuated motor to linear motion to thereby move the arm and hand in a reciprocating, waving motion to convey a courteous gesture.

Abstract: A frozen nutritional food product and method for oral delivery of nutrients, medicinal substances and other active ingredients via absorption through the oral mucosa for systemic effect. The frozen product includes at least one active ingredient, at least one flavoring agent, preservatives, food coloring, and a balance of water as a delivery liquid. The water is subjected to a magnetic treatment process and an ozonation process to enhance delivery of the active ingredients. More particularly, a first portion of the water is magnetized to neutralize the pH, increase oxygenation, and to improve the solubility of the ingredients mixed with the water. The remaining portion of the water is sterilized by ozonation, causing oxidation of undesirable metallic ions, odor and taste producing agents, and a wide variety of organics. Ozonation further increases the dissolved oxygen content of the water.

Abstract: A child seat for removable attachment to a suitcase includes a collapsible frame structure formed and configured to support a seat base, a back rest, opposite arm rests, and a front leg support extending downwardly from the seat base. A size adjustable harness for securing a child in the seat is fitted to the frame structure on the seat base. Elongate strap members extend from the frame structure and include an upper pair of strap members and a lower pair of strap members, wherein strap segments of each pair of strap members are attachable by clips to form a closed loop about the suitcase. An adjustment fitting enables the strap members to be tightened in order to secure the child seat to the suitcase, thereby permitting the user to conveniently transport the suitcase and seated child, as a unit, through an airport, hotel, along a sidewalk or the like.

Abstract: A game of skill to be played between two or more players on sand or other soft terrain, wherein each player is provided with a set of stakes and a boundary marking device. The stakes each having a head portion, an elongate body, and a lower portion including a tapered bottom end zone structured to be driven into the sand so that the stakes are held in an upright position. Each player's boundary marking device is placed upon the sand and formed into a closed configuration so as to surround an interior area defining the player's territory or camp. In a preferred embodiment, a war game is simulated, wherein each player's stakes represent soldiers. One of the stakes in each player's set is shorter, representing a general. With each of the player's camps spaced a predetermined distance apart, the player's stakes are selectively placed within their territories in a manner which is intended to protect that player's general.

Abstract: An all terrain wheel for a wheelchair includes an integral wheel body having an annular rim, a central hub, and an array of struts extending radially between the hub and the rim. An outer face of the rim includes a circumferential groove sized and configured for fitted receipt of an inflatable inner tube and tire assembly on the rim. The outer face extends axially on opposite sides of the groove to outboard and inboard circumferential edges, forming an outboard rim portion with an integral handrail and an inboard rim portion, thereby providing an enlarged ground engaging surface which discourages sinking of the wheel into sand, mud, snow, grass and like soft terrain. Transverse ribs on the outer rim face provide traction as well as a thumb grip when manually propelling the wheel. A flat face of the struts is disposed generally transverse to the plane of the wheel so that the struts function as paddles for providing propulsion in water as the wheel is rotated.
