The method involves determining a size of an image output from a camera module, resizing the size of the image output from the camera module to a size suitable for a display unit when the size of the image output from the camera module differs from the size of the image to be output through the display unit, and outputting the resized image. The method involves determining a size of an image output from a camera module, and resizing a 720×480 image to a 320×240 image to be output through a display unit when the camera module has output the 720×480 image, and outputting the 320×240 image.

Accordingly, a plurality of phone book data stored in a predetermined group among phone book data stored in a group basis in a mobile communication terminal can be easily moved and stored into another group. In addition, since the user can easily store phone book data whose group is not identified in a predetermined group, user convenience improves.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for taking images while making a video call on a mobile communication terminal having a video call feature are provided. A method for taking images on a mobile communication terminal including a camera sensor for photographing an image to output an image signal and a signal processor receiving the image signal from the camera sensor to convert the image signal to image data includes determining whether there is a request to take an image during a video call and extracting, if there is a request to take an image, the image signal output from the camera sensor, converting the image signal to image data for storage, and storing the image data while performing the video call. The method enables production and storage of image data using a controller instead of a signal processor functioning for performing a video call, thus allowing high quality still or motion video image data to be taken and stored while making a video call.

An satellite digital audio radio service (SDARS) system receives traffic flow information for segments of roads with service coverage at a vehicle. A vehicle communications, navigation and tracking (VCNT) service system compares present Global Positioning System (GPS) position of the vehicle with the traffic flow information received from the SDARS system. If the present GPS position is within a segment, the VCNT service system compares present vehicle speed with a received traffic flow speed range. If vehicle speed is outside a received traffic flow speed range, the VCNT service system generates a message with present location and speed. To transfer call-related charges between mobile terminals, the mobile terminal and call charge transfer method place a call by a calling mobile terminal to a called mobile terminal to establish a call connection for conversation, transmit a call transfer request by the calling mobile terminal to impose call-related charges on the called mobile terminal, and perform, if the called mobile terminal accepts the call transfer request, a call transfer operation to impose the call-related charges on the called mobile terminal, and maintain, if the called mobile terminal rejects the call transfer request, the call to impose the call-related charges on the calling mobile terminal. As a result, during a call between mobile terminals, the called user can accept a call transfer request of the calling user to transfer call-related charges to the called party, thereby enabling flexible and efficient billing.

In an operation of originating or terminating a voice call, it is determined if a wireless Internet function is being performed and, if the wireless Internet function is being performed, the wireless Internet function and a voice call service are substantially simultaneously started. Accordingly, in the wireless Internet communication method of the mobile communication terminal, a W-LAN function is set in the same manner as that in which a CDMA data call is set through modification of the SVD scheme, so that a W-LAN data protocol such as the DHCP (which can be used when the W-LAN function is set) and a voice call service can be provided at the same time.

Abstract: An image fixing control system and method are provided comprising a power supply, a power switching unit, a heating roller, in which a temperature detector detects a temperature of the heating roller, and a controller detects a temperature variation slope of the heating roller using the temperature detected by the temperature detector and controls an on and off switching operation of the power switching unit according to the detected temperature variation slope. Accordingly, by varying a duty ratio of power through a phase control using a temperature variation slope of a heating roller, a fine control of a fixing system can be performed. In addition, since a temperature variation, that is, overshoot or undershoot, of the heating roller is reduced, a fixing efficiency can be increased.

The invention further relates to compositions and methods which can be used to identify and treat prostate cancer based on these novel androgen receptor splice variants, as well as methods for screening agents which modulate the activity and/or expression of the androgen receptor splice variants. A band-pass filter attenuates a signal region of the received signal and passes a signal in a noise region. A first power calculator calculates interference and noise power of the noise-region signal received from the band-pass filter. A second power calculator calculates total received power of the received signal. A ratio calculator calculates a CINR based on the interference and noise power, and the total received power.
