Abstract: A plasma display panel for preventing a discharging operation in a non-displaying area and thus progressing the contrast ratio according to the present invention is disclosed. The plasma display panel comprises a first substrate and a second substrate which are provided with each of inner faces opposite to each other. Between the first and second substrates, barrier ribs arranged toward a first direction are separated parallel to each other with a space. On the inner face of the first substrate, first electrodes are arranged parallel with each other toward a second direction which is orthogonal with the first direction. In addition, dot type second electrodes, which are connected with a pair of first electrodes and are exposed to a space between the pair of first electrodes, are arranged on the inner face of the first substrate. Between the barrier ribs on the inner face of the second substrate, there are placed third electrodes which are arranged parallel with the first direction.

  • Patent number: 6123851
Abstract: The hydrophilic organic contaminants and hydrogen peroxide present in semiconductor fabrication reclaims are removed by means of adsorption of a pyrolysate of a macroreticular sulphonated vinyl-aromatic polymer having a carbon content of at least 85% by weight and a carbon/hydrogen atomic ratio of from 1.5:1 to 20:1. In spite of their hydrophobic surface, the pyrolysates have a comparatively high adsorptivity for these contaminants and provide for distinctively higher removal rates than customary activated carbons.

  • Patent number: 6121079
Abstract: In DRAM comprising a read pass transistor, a write pass transistor and a storage transistor, a depletion transistor is connected to a source of the storage transistor. On a part of the source and drain of the depletion transistor, by forming an impurity region of same conductivity as that of the substrate on which the transistors are formed, a substrate voltage applied to the substrate is supplied to the storage transistor through the depletion transistor. An additional metal wire for connecting the source of the storage transistor to Vss voltage(ground voltage or substrate voltage)terminal and a contact hole area for such metal wire are not required. Accordingly, a high integration of the semiconductor can be accomplished and a a reduction of reliability thereof can be decreased.

  • Patent number: 6082993
Abstract: A fuel/air mixture control for an induction heater having a tube-type burner includes a side-venting fuel nozzle for introducing fuel into an induction air stream entering the burner. A multi-speed blower draws combustion air into the burner and an air flow constrictor disposed proximate the fuel nozzle increases the velocity of the induction air stream proximate the fuel nozzle, increasing the volume of fuel introduced into the burner conduit. The fuel/air mixture depends upon the speed of the blower, which can be thermostatically controlled to increase speed upon sensing higher temperature combustion products, thereby maintaining a steady mass air flow and air/fuel mixture.
