  • Patent number: 7805606
Abstract: A computer architecture for enterprise device applications provides a real-time, bi-directional communication layer for device communication. An identity-based communications layer provides for secure, end-to-end telemetry and control communications by enabling mutual authentication and encryption between the devices and the enterprise. A unique identity is assigned to each device, user and application to provide security services. A communications session is established between two devices using an authentication service that authenticates the device that is initiating the establishment of the communications session with another device. After authenticating the initiating device, the authentication service provides to the initiating device the network address of the other device and an authentication credential for use in the communications session between the initiating device and the other device.

  • Patent number: 7801545
Abstract: According to the proposed method, the frequency of power control commands transmitted on a power control channel is changed according to the traffic. When the traffic becomes slower in at least one direction due to a DTX state, a slower transfer rate, asymmetric data transfer or for any other reason, the frequency of power control commands is lowered. Both the base station and the personal station may lower the frequency of the commands which they send. An alternative to changing the frequency of power control commands is to change the energy of power control bits. The duration of power control bits must hereby be extended, if a standard bit error ration is desired. If the system is frequency-divided and/or time-divided and uses frequency control command of several bits, the length of the command word may be shortened in addition to or as an alternative to the change in frequency. The power control algorithm may be changed several times during a traffic connection.

  • Patent number: 7798983
Abstract: In order to provide a walking assistance device that can avoid hampering the motion of the muscles of the user and will not move out of place inadvertently when worn by the user, principal engagement points of a support member for securely mounting an assisting force generator, which is disposed on a side of at least one joint of a lower limb to provide an assisting force to a movement of the lower limb, are provided at portions where a relatively small amount of movement of skin occurs when a trunk or joint is moved. In this way, the support member can be fastened firmly to the portions where an amount of movement of the skin is small and therefore it is possible to reduce the uncomfortable pressure caused during motion while preventing the support member from inadvertently moving out of place.

  • Patent number: 7796003
Abstract: A multi-parallel magnetic-filed cancellation type transformer includes a plurality of coils which generate magnetic flux during energization and a core having a plurality of magnetic leg portions on which the coils are wound, and bases for fixing the magnetic leg portions. The plurality of coils are wound on the magnetic leg portions in such a manner that the magnetic flux generated from the coils are formed in the directions opposite to each other. A plurality of closed magnetic circuits of the magnetic flux are formed at the magnetic leg portions and the bases. The magnetic resistance of the closed magnetic circuits is homogeneous. Accordingly, the transformer can reduce the size thereof, and prevent the deterioration of electric power conversion efficiency.

  • Patent number: 7785090
Abstract: An injection control apparatus includes an injection member; a drive section for injection; an injection-speed detection processing section which detects injection speed; an injection-pressure detection processing section which detects injection pressure; and a drive control processing section which drives the drive section for injection on the basis of the injection speed and the injection pressure to thereby perform pressure control before start of charging of a molding material into a cavity, and speed control after the start of charging of the molding material into the cavity. Since the drive section is driven on the basis of the injection speed and the injection pressure such that pressure control is performed before start of charging of a molding material into a cavity, and speed control is performed thereafter, the pressure of the cavity after the molding material has entered the cavity becomes stable and uniform.

Abstract: An accessory drive system includes a stator, a first rotor, and a second rotor, which respectively include armatures, permanent magnets, and first and second cores. One of the first and second rotors is connected to an accessory, and the other to an internal combustion engine. When the polarity of a first armature magnetic pole is different from the polarity of a first magnetic pole of an opposed permanent magnet, the polarity of a second armature magnetic pole becomes the same as the polarity of a second magnetic pole of the opposed permanent magnet. • Patent number: 7783599
Abstract: A system that pushes active data to a client receives a first request for a page that includes active data from the client. The active data includes a component and a corresponding model for a data source of the component. The system determines if the model is active and if so, instantiates an encoder that corresponds to the component. The system queries the model for the active data and renders a user interface representation of the data. The system then returns a response to the request with the user interface representation.
