  • Patent number: 7206395
Abstract: A portable telephone apparatus 100 according to the present invention comprises a call waiting section and a telephone number acquisition section that can acquire telephone numbers of telephone apparatuses on the other end of lines. A telephone directory information registration section 109 registers telephone numbers associated with information on names. A caller confirmation section searches a telephone number of the telephone directory information registration section 109 based on the telephone number acquired by the telephone number acquisition section and confirms the caller. A character string speech conversion section converts the character information on the name of the confirmed caller to speech information. A caller information notification section notifies the user of the speech information from the character string speech conversion section when an incoming call arrives during a call with speech at a volume level which does not disturb the call.

  • Patent number: 7206296
Abstract: A transmission apparatus capable of executing an appropriate transmission power control in DPCH even when the DSCH and DPCH are multiplexed together. In the present transmission apparatus, DPCH transmission power control section 105 controls the transmission power of dedicated channel so that transmission power in periods corresponding to packet insertion periods of downlink shared channel becomes larger than that in other periods. Amplification sections 104-1 to 104-N amplify the transmission power of dedicated channel based on the control of DPCH transmission power control section 105. Dedicated channel and downlink shared channel are multiplexed in multiplexing section 106. The multiplexed signal is converted into radio frequency in RF section 107, and then transmitted as radio signal from antenna 108.

  • Patent number: 7200788
Abstract: When a determination section of a reception apparatus determines that a control channel is intended for the reception apparatus, a comparing section of the reception apparatus compares control information transmitted on the control channel with a reception capability of the reception apparatus. A data channel reception section of the reception apparatus receives a data channel when the control information is within the reception capability of the reception apparatus, but does not receive the data channel when the control information exceeds the reception capability of the reception apparatus. When the control information exceeds the reception capability of the reception apparatus, the transmission section does not transmit an ACK signal and a NACK signal with respect to the data channel.

  • Patent number: 7199635
Abstract: The first terminals of a plurality of resistor elements are connected to the intermediate connection points of a plurality of FETs connected in series, and a voltage, having a phase opposite to that of the voltage applied to the gate terminals of the plurality of FETs, is applied to the second terminals of the plurality of resistor elements. With this configuration, the potentials at the intermediate connection points of the plurality of FETs connected in series can be prevented from lowering. As a result, the power that can be handled can be increased. Furthermore, since the potentials at the intermediate connection points of the plurality of FETs connected in series can be prevented from lowering, the deterioration of the distortion characteristic and the isolation characteristic owing to the lowering of the potentials at the intermediate connection points of the plurality of field-effect transistors connected in series is prevented, and excellent high-frequency characteristics are obtained.

  • Patent number: 7197687
Abstract: When an error is detected in a received header, in estimating reference information while assuming an error in a packet receiving interval, a header is decompressed using at least one value of another candidate sequence numbers used in correcting an erroneous sequence number, corresponding to a time that elapses between previously receiving a packet correctly and receiving a current packet and to the packet receiving internal. It is thereby possible to increase a possibility of estimating the reference information correctly and suppress the number of discarded packets at a receiving side, while suppressing increases in introduced processing amount in data transmission with header compression.
