Abstract: In accordance with the present disclosure, a multi-modulus divider (MMD) circuit configured for operation at high frequencies may include a cascade of multiple divide-by-2-or-3 cells that divides an input clock signal to produce a pulse signal. The MMD circuit may also include a pulse stretching circuit that extends the duration of the pulse signal, thereby outputting an output clock signal. The cascade of divide-by-2-or-3 cells and the pulse stretching circuit may be implemented using full-swing complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) circuits. Each divide-by-2-or-3 cell may be organized so that a critical path of the divide-by-2-or-3 cell comprises a first dynamic flip flop, a second dynamic flip flop, and no more than two logic stages between the first dynamic flip flop and the second dynamic flip flop.
Abstract: The present invention includes compositions and methods that include antibodies that selectively neutralize a bioactivity of at least two interferon alpha (“IFN?”) protein subtypes for the protein subtypes A, 2, B2, C, F, G, H2, 1, J1, K, 4a, 4b and WA, but does not neutralize at least one bioactivity of IFN? protein subtype D. Examples of bioactivity for measurement include activation of the M×A promoter or antiviral activity and variants, derivatives and fragments thereof. The invention also includes host cells, hybridomas and plasmacytomas that produce antibodies. Because of their unique selectivity and affinity, the antibodies of the present invention are useful to detect IFN? subtypes in sample or tissue and/or for therapeutic applications that include, but are not limited to the treatment and/or amelioration of an IFN? related disorder such as SLE, lupus, type I diabetes, psoriasis, AIDS and Graft versus Host Disease.

Abstract: A semiconductor memory device includes output enable signal generation means configured to be reset in response to an output enable reset signal, count a DLL clock signal and an external clock signal, and generate an output enable signal in correspondence to a read command and an operating frequency; and activation signal generation means configured to generate an activation signal for inactivating the output enable signal generation means during a write operation interval.
Abstract: The disclosure is directed to techniques for picture-in-picture (PIP) processing for video telephony (VT). According to the disclosed techniques, a local video communication device transmits PIP information to a remote video communication device. Using the PIP information, the remote video communication device applies preferential encoding to non-PIP regions of video transmitted to the local video communication device.
Abstract: A semiconductor memory device is capable of scrambling input/output data according to row addresses. The semiconductor memory device includes a local line driving block configured to differentially drive a positive local line and a negative local line by selectively inverting data on a global line according to row addresses, a global line driving block configured to drive the global line by selectively inverting data on the positive local line and data on the negative local line according to the row addresses, a first cell region configured to allow a first internal data to be equalized with the data on the positive local line in response to the row addresses and column addresses, and a second cell region configured to allow a second internal data to be equalized with the data on the negative local line in response to the row addresses and the column addresses.
Abstract: A differential amplifier includes an amplification unit and a feedback unit. The amplification unit amplifies a voltage difference between a first input signal and a second input signal and outputs a first output signal and a second output signal. The feedback unit amplifies a voltage difference between a first feedback signal based on the first output signal and a second feedback signal based on the second output signal.
Abstract: This disclosure describes techniques to allow for unidirectional disabling of audio-video synchronization. In particular, a synchronization command is defined for packet-based network protocols. The synchronization command can disable audio-video synchronization in a sending direction, a receiving direction, or both the sending and receiving direction. In this way, devices are given more control over audio-video synchronization, and can disable such synchronization in a unidirectional manner only, while maintaining synchronization in the opposite direction.
Abstract: An arrangement and a method that, for a given pair of nodes that wish to intercommunicate with a high QoS measure, converts a portion of the contention-based network into a contention-less subnetwork by sending a reservation message and a confirmation message between the given pair of nodes. All nodes that are on the paths used for communicating between the pair of nodes are protected from interference by causing all nodes that potentially can interfere to enter a non-transmitting state.
Abstract: Novel modified lignin polymers containing anionic, cationic, and/or alkoxy substitution are disclosed. Further, new cleaning compositions including the novel substituted lignin polymers are disclosed. Methods of forming the modified lignin polymers and cleaning compositions are disclosed.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method of specifying a circuit design within a high-level modeling system (HLMS) can include, responsive to a scripted user input, instantiating a first and a second block objects within a hardware description interface (HDI) that is communicatively linked with the HLMS and, responsive to instantiating the first and second block objects, creating and displaying, within the HLMS, first and second modeling blocks representing the first and second xBlock objects respectively. Responsive to instantiating, within the HDI, a signal object bound to an output port of the first block object and an input port of the second block object, a modeling line can be created and displayed within the HLMS visually linking an output of the first modeling block with an input of the second modeling block. The first modeling block, second modeling block, and modeling line can be stored as a description of the circuit design.
Abstract: A universal serial bus (USB) device communicates with a USB host over a USB to remotely wake up the USB host over the USB when the USB host is in a low power (e.g. deep sleep) mode. The USB device performs an activity to wake up the USB host. The USB host performs a remote wake up process in response to detecting the activity by the USB device. The USB host performs a resume process in response to performing the remote wake up process by the USB host. The USB device wakes up in response to the USB host performing the resume process.
Abstract: The present invention is generally directed to processes that integrate CO2-producing conversions of hydrocarbonaceous assets with biofuels processes that utilize CO2 in photosynthesis. In some embodiments, such processes involve the absorption of CO2 in an absorption liquid. In some such embodiments, such absorption is carried out in an absorption tower. In some other such embodiments, there is a subsequent desorption of the CO2. Generally, at least some of the CO2 captured by the absorption liquid is used to grow microbes or diatom species.
Abstract: The present invention is directed to alkanal derivatives of water-soluble polymers such as poly(ethylene glycol), their corresponding hydrates and acetals, and to methods for preparing and using such polymer alkanals. The polymer alkanals of the invention are prepared in high purity and exhibit storage stability.
