Abstract: A method and apparatus for sharing a bookmark, which is created by a user, with other users. In a method for sharing a bookmark in a home network, information of a bookmark for sharing in a home network device of a bookmark creator is created. The bookmark or the information of the bookmark is stored in an Internet Protocol TV (IPTV) terminal in the home network of the bookmark creator. The bookmark or the information of the bookmark is then transmitted from the IPTV terminal to an IPTV service provider.
Abstract: An apparatus and a method for interference cancellation in a transmitting end of a multi-antenna system are provided. A precode is generated which maximizes a diversity gain of one or more receive antennas using channel information of the receive antennas to be serviced. Transmit powers of the receive antennas are updated by taking into account a power loss and a shaping loss according to a dirty paper coding. Transmit signals are precoded by updating the precode according to the updated transmit powers. The dirty paper coding is performed on the precoded transmit signals to be transmitted to the receive antennas.

Abstract: A speaker device employing a diaphragm structure for providing high quality sound characteristics. Abstract: A Printed Circuit Board (PCB) is provided in which at least one built-in Integrated Circuit (IC) package has a plurality of conductive bumps on an IC. Abstract: A method and apparatus for controlling intra-refreshing in a video telephone communication system are provided. A reception apparatus checks a sequence number and a CRC for received video packet data to detect presence of a packet loss, decodes the received video data to check frame type information, generates a control signal for requesting intra-refreshing in accordance with the checked frame type information and the sequence number, and transmits the generated control signal for requesting intra-refreshing to a transmission apparatus.
Abstract: Provided is an apparatus and method for transmitting frame information in a wireless communication system using a relay scheme. In a method for transmitting frame information from an upper node in the wireless communication system, downlink section information for communication with the lower relay station for a relay service is transmitted to a lower relay station at the request of the lower relay station for an initial connection. After the initial connection, frame information for communication with the lower relay station for a relay service is transmitted to the lower relay station through the downlink section.
Abstract: A digital broadcast receiving apparatus and a method thereof are disclosed. The digital broadcast receiving apparatus includes a demultiplexer for separating a multichannel transport stream into a plurality of broadcasting channel data and outputting the broadcasting channel data, a buffer unit, including a plurality of buffers having different capacities that correspond to data bit rates, for storing the broadcasting channel data in the buffers having the corresponding capacities, respectively, according to the data bit rates, a user interface for outputting channel identification information corresponding to the broadcasting channel selected by a user, and a switching device for selecting one of outputs of the plurality of buffers according to the channel identification information.

Abstract: An apparatus and a method capable of receiving digital broadcasting without image discontinuity during channel switching. A digital multimedia broadcasting receiver buffers a previous channel while a new channel is buffered in a deinterleaver, thereby preventing image discontinuity during channel switching. The digital broadcasting receiver receives and deinterleaves broadcast data of a channel to be changed and stores the deinterleaved broadcast data in a buffer when a broadcast channel change is requested. Abstract: A method for indirectly creating an XML (eXtensible Markup Language) document in an XDMS (XML Document Management Server) by using a URL (Uniform Resource Locator), which indicates the position of an XCAP (XML Configuration Access Protocol) document, in an XDM (XML Document Management) system including an XDMC (XDM Client) and an XDMS. Abstract: Disclosed is a method for providing location information of a terminal by using an Session Initiation Protocol (SIP). To this end, a location request and a location estimate are transferred between terminals by using messages used in the SIP. In particular, it is possible to receive location information of a counterpart during communication, or transfer the location information of its own to a counterpart, in consideration of the fact that real-time voice service mainly uses the SIP. Moreover, it is possible to request and transmit location information on using multimedia services. Therefore, a terminal or a server using the SIP easily uses location information, so that it is possible to provide new services inter-working with location services.
Abstract: A transparent display apparatus is provided that is constructed to transmit or block a light of images selectively according to a supply of electric power to a conventional transparent organic light emitting diode. The transparent display apparatus includes a transparent organic light emitting diode having a glass substrate, a transparent anode, a hole transport layer, an emitting layer, an electron transport layer and a transparent cathode. The transparent display apparatus includes an insulating layer stacked on the transparent cathode, and first and second transparent ITOs stacked on the insulating layer to deliver electromotive force onto an entire surface and to transmit or block the light of images according to the on/off state of a power source. The transparent display apparatus also includes an electro chromic layer provided between the first and the second transparent ITOs and including transparent and colorless chemicals.
Abstract: Provided is a handoff processing method including measuring a moving speed of a mobile terminal; measuring a size of a data packet generated in an application layer; measuring quality of a data transmission channel of the mobile terminal; calculating a maximum handoff delay time based on a relation between the moving speed and the data packet's size; estimating a handoff occurrence time point, based on a relation between a variation of the quality of the data transmission channel and the quality of the data transmission channel; and calculating a packet size and a moving speed of the mobile terminal that can minimize a delay due to a handoff occurrence by taking account of a handoff delay time according to the size of the data packet generated in the application layer and a moving speed of the mobile terminal into consideration, and providing the calculated packet size and moving speed.

Abstract: Provided is an apparatus and method for storing a security key in a mobile communication terminal. In the method, the security key is generated randomly. The generated security key is encrypted in a predetermined encryption scheme. The encrypted security key is stored in the mobile communication terminal. Therefore, even if the stored security keys are read by hacking or memory dump, it is impossible to detect the accurate security keys.
Abstract: A mobile communication terminal for displaying supplementary information on a background screen includes a communication unit, a storage unit for storing cumulative transmissions and receptions of calls and messages corresponding to supplementary information, a cumulative number rank determiner for comparing the cumulative transmissions and receptions of calls and messages and determining a cumulative number rank for the phone number, a controller for creating a map consisting of the supplementary information arranged from the highest to the lowest cumulative number rank of the phone number, and a display unit for displaying the supplementary information together with the cumulative number rank. The terminal allows a user to easily visualize supplementary information corresponding to a phone number by display on the background screen.
