Abstract: Compounds are disclosed having the formula ##STR1## These compounds inhibit the action of angiotensin II and are useful, therefore, for example, as antihypertensive agents.
Abstract: The present invention claims and describes an environmentally sound percarbonate based cleaner for removing cosmetic and pharmaceutical soils from pharmaceutical or cosmetic manufacturing surfaces. The invention includes a combination of a percarbonate; an ethylene oxide/propylene oxide block copolymer surfactant; and a bicarbonate salt. The invention is useful for removing hard-to-remove soils from a pharmaceutical or cosmetic manufacturing surface.
Abstract: S-enantiomers of the formula ##STR1## result from the reaction of a racemic form of compound I with an alcohol in the presence of an enzyme capable of selectively esterifying the R-enantiomers of the racemic compound.

Abstract: In accordance with the present invention an instantaneous delivery film useful in the delivery of a therapeutic agent to a wound site is provided. The present delivery film comprises a therapeutic agent, e.g. an enzyme or medicament, incorporated into a delivery material which forms the film. The delivery material is capable of rapidly dissolving in aqueous and saline solutions and comprises a water soluble and nonaqueous-solvent soluble film-forming polymer in an amount of from about 20 to about 100 percent by weight of the delivery material, and a plasticizer in an amount of from about 0 and 80 percent by weight of the delivery material. The present system is useful, for example, as a dry enzymatic debridement film suitable for the treatment of mammalian burns and ulcers.
Abstract: Tetrahydronaphthaleneamine derivatives having the formula ##STR1## wherein R, R', R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are as defined herein, are novel calcium channel blockers.
