Abstract: A multi-purpose storage apparatus having interchangeable shelving for use in storage of sporting goods is disclosed. Shelf construction consists of rod members or alternatively, shelf construction may consist of a single plastic piece having steel tubes integrated into the shelf. In this manner, the consumer may construct a shelf configuration for a particular sporting item. Structural rigidity is provided through the rod members having steel tubing that is encapsulated in a plastic sleeve through a manufacturing process while the plastic shelf has the steel tube directly integrated. The storage apparatus is secured to a wall and includes provisions for support of a bicycle, as well as miscellaneous small items through the use of a support tray.

Abstract: An efficient economical process is provided to produce an impressive display with outstanding marketing and advertising appeal. In the process, multiple images are formed, such as on a central processing unit, the images are striped or manipulated, eliminating rows of pixels and replacing them with pixels from other images, and portions thereof are superimposed. The superimposed images can be printed on a viewable surface of the display. A lenticular lens, fresnel lenticular lens plate, lens with a textured surface, plate lens, ultraviolet cured resinous lens, lens with an undercut, cluster of anamorphic lenses, transparent rods, or grid, can be placed in front of the images to provide a special display which has the illusion of animation, morphing or movement as the angle of sight changes. The images can also be printed directly on the back surface of the lens to provide self-contained lenticular graphics.

Abstract: An adhesive band is designed for use on the nose to improve breathing through the nose. The bottom part is triangular shaped to fit the tip of the nose. The middle part is made narrow to fit over the bridge of the nose. The top part is rectangular to fit on the forehead. The application of this band to the nose in an upward pulling manner lifts the tip of the nose. This new more horizontal position of the nasal tip allows for easier nasal breathing by reducing resistence of air entering the nose. The principles of this invention have been described in this application. Variations and changes may be made by those skilled in this art without departing from the spirit of the invention.
Abstract: A user friendly nasal band and method are provided which lifts up the tip of the nose, enlarges the nostrils and shortens the effective length of the nasal passageways. The light weight nasal band provides a comfortable sleep band and dilator strip which improves sleep and makes breathing easier for many patients. Advantageously, the sleep band and method also reduces or eliminates snoring for many patients. This is accomplished by improving the nasal airway. An improved nasal airway minimizes mouth breathing which prevents vibration of the palate, tongue, and pharyngeal walls thus reducing the noise of snoring. Air passing through the mouth during sleep causes vibration of the relaxed tongue, palate, and pharyngeal wall resulting in the noise of snoring. The nasal band also provides an attractive sports band which minimizes collapse of the nasal sidewalls during jogging or other strenuous exercise so that athletes can continue to breathe through their nose rather than breather through their open mouth.
Abstract: A safe cordless telephone with a hands-free speakerphone is provided for use in showers or when taking a bath. The user-friendly cordless telephone can be readily attached and removed from any portion of the shower/bath unit, such as: a shower wall, shower door, sliding shower panel, towel rack, bracket, holder, or shower head pipe. The shower speaker telephone can also have a radio, interom, clock, and a display window to display the telephone numbers of outgoing and/or incoming telephone calls. The dependable cordless telephone is made of an impact-resistant plastic capable of withstanding water pressure and is insulated to prevent electrical shock. A water-resistant antenna extends upwardly from the telephone housing. A battery seal is positioned about the battery chamber to prevent water from entering into the battery chamber.

Abstract: A specially formulated environmental insecticide is provided which effectively controls whiteflies and other insects but is safe to humans, farm animals, pets, crops, and fish. The cost-effective non-polluting insecticide can be in the form of a 100% concentrate or an aqueous solution. The sprayable easy-to-use insecticide can comprise a synergistic blend of cottonseed oil amides, coconut oil amides, tall oil amides and a nonionic surfactant, as well as a chelating agent, a viscosity control agent and free amine.
Abstract: High speed, light weight wheels are provided for in-line roller skates. The high performance wheels each have at least one bearing, a special hub with a light weight fiber-reinforced core, and a high performance tire. The core can comprise symmetrical core sections and can have an array of spokes which connect a hub and an inner rim. Desirably, the light weight core can have a hollow shell upon which the tire is secured.
Abstract: A set of high speed, light weight wheels are provided for in-line roller skates. The high performance wheels each have a single large, light weight bearing, a special hub with a light weight fiber-reinforced core, and a high strength tire.
Abstract: A cellular telephone system has a special cellular telephone antenna that can be hidden from view so as to deter thieves and vandals as well as prevent damage to the antenna during car washes. In the preferred form, the cellular telephone antenna comprises a rear view mirror-mounted antenna. The cellular telephone antenna can also comprise a sun visor mounted antenna, side view mirror-mounted antenna, glove compartment-mounted antenna, or dashboard-mounted antenna.
Abstract: An internal lock assembly securely locks a monitor well lid and cover to protect and safeguard the monitor well so as to enhance the monitor well's accuracy and environmental compliance. The user friendly lock assembly has a special latch which engages a padlock in a housing. A restraining bar across the front end of the housing restricts movement of the padlock's shackle. The internal housing can be supported by a mounting brace.
Abstract: A safe cordless telephone is provided for use in showers. The user-friendly cordless telephone can also be used when taking a bath or outside when it is raining. The dependable cordless comprises a special portable cordless handset with a water-resistant housing that provides a handset body. The handset body is made of an impact-resistant plastic capable of withstanding water pressure and is insulated to prevent electrical shock. A water-resistant antenna extends upwardly from the handset. A battery seal is positioned about the battery chamber to prevent water from entering into the battery chamber. An elastomeric rib is snugly positioned about the front and back of the handset to prevent water from entering into the interior of the handset and shorting the telephone circuitry. The earpiece and mouthpiece of the handset can also have water impermeable membranes to prevent water from passing into the earpiece and mouthpiece of the handset.
