Abstract: A glass washing and dishwashing machine including an improved oscillating spray mechanism, an improved tank valve/water diversion mechanism, and an improved water tank assembly, which are all incorporated into the glass washing and dishwashing machine. The oscillating spray mechanism directs a spray of wash water or rinse water at glasses, dishes or the like and oscillates the spray mechanism in order to more completely contact glasses or the like with wash water during a washing and rinsing operation. The tank valve mechanism selectively supplies wash water or rinse water from the tank assembly to the spray mechanism. The valve/water diversion mechanism is interconnected with two water reservoir chambers for delivering wash or rinse water to a washing station.

Abstract: A wire harness which is generally a Y-shaped configuration for the interconnection between a standard main vehicle wire harness, a standard vehicle radio and an after market add-on electronic device. The Y-shaped wire harness eliminates the need to hardwire the after market electronic device to the vehicle main wire harness and also eliminates the need for an after market radio. The Y-shaped wire harness comprises three connectors at each location on the Y-shaped configuration, wherein each connector respectively mates to corresponding connectors provided on the standard vehicle radio, the main vehicle wire harness and the add-on electronic device.

Abstract: A retrofittable kick panel to be installed over the insulation of the inner walls under the dashboard of an automobile to form a suitable acoustic chamber for audio speakers. It includes a plate like base member having a raised portion with a central opening therethrough which opening is surrounded by a mounting rim for mounting of a audio speaker. Adjacent to the raised portion are a plurality of louvers to providing fresh air access to the passenger seats and the floor location of the automobile. In use, the base member is installed over the side wall insulation and fresh air duct under the dashboard of an automobile, forming an acoustic chamber which will receive the audio speaker. Wiring is routed to the chamber from one audio channel of the radio or other audio equipment and to an audio speaker which is then mounted on the annular rim after the removal of any felt installation material that would interfere with the speaker's magnet.

Abstract: A carrier tape system for receiving, retaining and quickly releasing small components, such as singulated bare die, integrated circuit (IC) chips, or other small components for automated assembly processing. The carrier tape system is comprised of a longitudinal elongated flexible punched carrier tape frame and a solid width of pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) tape affixed to one side of the carrier tape frame. The punched carrier tape frame has a plurality of spaced apart aperture cavities therethrough. The solid width of PSA tape also has a plurality of spaced apart configured apertures which are smaller than the plurality of aperture cavities of the punched carrier tape frame. These configured apertures of the PSA tape are centrally aligned and respectively located within the aperture cavities of the carrier tape frame.

Abstract: A modular structure is assembled through a multiplicity of modules aligned in a series of horizontal rows, with each successive row being higher than the preceding row by a given height. Each row is composed of series of adjacent modules of the same height in that row, the modules composed of four vertical posts with adjacent modules sharing the same two intermediate posts between them. In alternating rows, the vertical posts are strengthened by widthwise crossbeams extending from adjacent the top of one vertical post to adjacent the bottom the next vertical post for all widthwise pairs of vertical posts in the given row. Each vertical post is anchored to the ground by being welded to a base plate assembly which in turn in bolted or anchored into the ground or concrete floor. Each module supports a concrete formed bed.

Abstract: A set of wire harnesses for the interconnection of a plurality of light fixtures, for example, ornamental light fixtures, turn signal lights, marker lights and etc., for vehicles. Each light fixture has a connector base with two or more female sockets. The set of wire harnesses include four types of wire harnesses. The first type of wire harness comprises two terminal contacts, a male connector, and conducting wires connecting the terminal contacts to the male connector. The male connector of the first type of wire harness has two or more male prongs. The second type of wire harness comprises two configurations. The first configuration includes a pair of male connectors, a female connector, and conducting wires connecting the male and female connectors. The second configuration includes a pair of female connectors, a male connector, and conducting wires connecting the male and female connectors.

Abstract: A unique light-emitting diode (LED) light bulb which can be used in conjunction with a conventional light fixture which is mounted to a vehicle. The light fixture includes a hollow lens and a base plate attached to the lens. The base plate has a conventional socket housing with one or more contacts which is electrically coupled to a power source. The LED light bulb comprises an electrical circuit board, a plurality of light-emitting diodes mounted to the circuit board, and a connection post attached to the circuit board and adapted to be connected to the socket housing of the light fixture, where the plurality of light-emitting diodes are illuminated by the power source.

Abstract: An apparatus for feeding a carrier tape with successive sprocket holes and indexed pockets for carrying small components, and used in conjunction with various pick and place assembly machines for surface-mounting of the small components onto a printed circuit board or other assembly substrate. The apparatus has an interchangeable electronic feeder adaptable to various surface mount assembly machines and a set of height support adapters. The feeder has both a flip-chip and non flip-chip capabilities. The interchangeable electronic feeder further has a tape guiding assembly, an indexing assembly, an adjustable push-up tool assembly, and a flipping-converting assembly.

Abstract: A hanger and bracket apparatus for mounting to a frame of a vehicle and for attachment of a mud flap. The hanger and bracket apparatus comprises a plate member, a bracket member, and a hanger member. The plate member has a pair of slotted channels and a pair of apertures located between the slotted channels. A pair of bolt members are respectively inserted through the pair of apertures on the plate member and threadedly engaged with a pair of nut members for securing the plate member to the frame of the vehicle. The bracket member has two protruding edges for inserting into and permanently affixed to the slotted channels of the plate member respectively and secured to the plate member by welding or soldering material. The bracket member also has a top wall and a bottom wall each having a pair of apertures. The hanger member has a top wall with a pair of apertures and two opposite sidewalls.

Abstract: A filtration apparatus for brewing coffee, tea or the like therein and allowing a user to directly drink the brewed liquid from the same filtration apparatus. The apparatus comprises a vessel, such as a container or cup, and a double filter assembly installed within the vessel. The double filter assembly comprises a lower filter, an upper filter, and an alignment rod connecting the lower and upper filters together for facilitating the installation of the double filter assembly into the container. The lower and upper filters engage the interior periphery surface of the container for preventing the contents, such as ground coffee beans or tea leaves, in the container from being consumed by the user but allowing the brewed liquid to pass therethrough.

Abstract: Excess amount of modified subtracter DNA from control cells is generated by carboxylating the base structures of its certain nucleotides with chemical agents in order to introduce covalent affinity between the modified subtracter and a non-modified tester DNA. Hybridization of the control subtracter and the experimental tester DNA is performed with a heat-melting and then cool-reassociation technique. While the desired different (heterologous) sequences remain in the form of hydrogen-binding, common (homologous) sequences of the hybridized DNA are covalently bonded to each other. Since the covalent bonding of the common sequences can not be broken during a polymerase chain reaction, resulting in no amplification of the common sequences but great amplification of the desired different sequences. The desired DNA sequences present after such covalent homologue subtraction and selective amplification represent those DNA sequences which only exist in the tester but not in the subtracter DNA library.

Abstract: The present invention phase coherent crossover incorporates a method and apparatus for providing phase coherent crossover (PCC) signals. The PCC method and apparatus involve the utilizing of an all-pass filter for receiving an input signal and producing an all-pass signal, and a partial-pass filter also receiving the input signal and producing a partial-pass signal at a partial-pass output. The PCC method and apparatus further involve the combining of the partial-pass signal produced by the partial-pass filter with the all-pass signal produced by the all-pass filter to produce an opposite partial-pass signal at an opposite partial-pass output.

Abstract: A clip-on optical element device to be clipped on in front of lenses of a pair of eyeglasses or like and conforming to the pair of eyeglasses. The clip-on optical element device comprises a pair of opposite optical elements, a pair of opposite adjustable, flexible, bendable, and shapeable open rims for receiving the pair of optical elements, and a flexible bridge member detachably connecting the pair of flexible open rims together in a spaced apart relationship. The clip-on optical element device further comprises two pairs of upper and lower clips respectively attached to each of the pair of open rims for securing the clip-on device to the pair of eyeglasses. Each optical element has an annular slot in its peripheral surface and a perimeter which substantially conforms with each of the lenses of the pair of eyeglasses. Each open rim has a protruding ridge in its inner periphery surface for receiving and engaging with the annular slot of the optical element.

Abstract: An interlockable pet collar for preventing an animal from biting or licking the affected injured areas of its body. The interlockable pet collar comprises a multiplicity of open frame structures which can be interconnected to each other to provide an unlimited length of the pet collar. Each open frame structure has three side legs which are integrally formed with a top and bottom legs. One of the three sides legs has two apertures remote from each other. Another one of the three sides legs has two fasteners which are located remote from each and has a distance which is approximately equal to the distance between the two apertures. Each one of the open frames structures is attached to each other by inserting a respective one of the two fasteners to a respective one of the two apertures of another open frame structure, and etc, thereby forming a tubular or cylindrical shaped collar to accommodate an animal's neck.

Abstract: A broom apparatus for improving the way conventional corn brooms can be assembled and thereafter shipped. The broom apparatus includes a broomcorn attachment adaptor and a quick release adaptor adapted to be threadedly connected to the attachment adaptor. The attachment adaptor comprises an attachment portion and a threaded shaft portion protruding outwardly from the attachment portion for threadedly engaging with the quick release adaptor, wherein the quick release adaptor is provided with a handle connection means for receiving and detachably attaching a broom handle thereto. Broomcorns are wound on the attachment portion of the attachment adaptor to form a broom head.
