Abstract: This invention relates to an ultrasonic diagnostic equipment usable to measure small vibrations in myocardial tissues superimposed on a large amplitude vibration of heartbeat. And it comprises a large amplitude motion analyzing means for deciding the an instantaneous position of the object by using the amplitude and phase of the detected signal and tracking a large amplitude of motion of the object, and a small vibration analyzing means for detecting a small vibration superimposed on the large amplitude motion by analyzing, succeeding positions of the large amplitude motion obtained from the large amplitude motion analyzing means. By using this invention, a local elasticity of width of 1-2 mm in myocardium and arterial wall can be evaluated noninvasively.

Abstract: A weapons system/device is provided for a dazzling laser with directed laser radiation with a laser operating in the visible range. This is integrated in a rifle-like carrier with an aiming device, range finder, and a portable power supply unit. The laser is adjustable in terms of beam divergence, energy to be emitted, and irradiation time. A control computer is provided for entering target reconnaissance parameters, as well as measuring instruments for determining these parameters with respect to a target subject and the environment. The controls/instrumentation are associated with the laser, wherein the control computer calculates the laser parameters (beam divergence, single pulse or pulse train, pulse energy and pulse count of the pulsed laser) necessary for the reversible dazzling of the eye on the basis of the target reconnaissance parameters entered, and it automatically presets and regulates the resulting laser power and the exposure time of the continuous laser.
Abstract: An arrangement of outlet devices for releasing into the atmosphere cryogenic, combustible exhaust vapors in the near-surface, flow-swept, outer area of aircraft, land vehicles and watercraft. The arrangement provides at least one outlet device on the top side of a component at the top end of a pylon, which is favorable in terms of flow, in the free, undisturbed air flow. Each outlet device is arranged, designed and oriented such that the exhaust vapor is released in at least one directed jet oriented to the rear or to the rear and upward, with or without a lateral component, and is kept away from air inlets, hot exhaust gas jets and other sources of ignition, as well as from surfaces of components.

Abstract: A pivotable irradiating device for a person on a lying surface provides extensively uniform continued irradiation of the lying surface without any interruption in time when the irradiating device is pivoted out of the starting position. The irradiating device has at least one radiator in a housing. The housing is connected to a securing element via a rotatable connector (hinge). The axis of rotation of the hinge is located outside a central axis of the irradiating device. The intersection of these two axes is located in the center of the lying surface or in its vicinity.
Abstract: Colored thermoplastic resin composition comprising a transparent thermoplastic resin and a black dye contained therein, wherein said black dye is a black dye obtained by reaction of at least one anionic surfactant selected from the group consisting of(a) sulfuric acid ester-series surfactants,(b) phosphoric acid ester-series surfactants,(c) sulfonic acid-series surfactants and(d) carboxylic acid-series surfactants, and nigrosine.
Abstract: A gas flow control element with a gas-permeable section, through which excess gas flows to the outside from an interior space (10), is to be improved such that it can be cleaned with ease and that a defined, reproducible discharge is present. To accomplish this task, the gas-permeable section comprises individual disks (5) lying one on top of another, which are provided with flow channels.
Abstract: Four design variants of a full-flow burner for the thermal regeneration of a particle filter in an exhaust gas aftertreatment system of an internal combustion engine, especially a diesel engine, which is arranged fully in the tailpipe, especially in an expanded, straight coaxial tailpipe section, are suggested according to the present invention. As a result, the flow can enter a particle filter axially, which means simplified design and good temperature distribution. The full-flow burners are preheated by the heat of the exhaust gas of the engine during the start phase. The exhaust gas of the engine cools the burner surface during the phase of burner operation, so that thermal overload is avoided.
Abstract: A total power takeoff, which is able to be positioned between the transmission and the differential gear of an engine-powered vehicle. At least one user having a driven shaft is provided which is driven by the inlet shaft coming from the transmission. On the driven shaft there is inserted a clutch, which can be engaged and disengaged, for the use of the user without having to stop the inlet shaft of the power takeoff.
Abstract: A landing process and arrangement for payloads from aerospace missions with a steerable gliding body deployable at high altitudes for accurately returning the payload to the earth surface wherein delicate and stressable elements of the payload are to be recovered. The gliding body is filled with a light gas during its deployment, and the aerostatic lift must be lower than the weight of the landing unit. The payload is divided into a body with delicate elements and a body with stressable elements, wherein the body with the stressable elements is suspended on a pulling element at a spaced location under the other body. After the lower body has come into contact with the ground, the upper body is maintained suspended aerostatically.

Abstract: A process for repairing heat exchanger tubes by partial tube replacement in the inside of closed tube apparatus with at least one cylindrical tube bottom from the tube side, wherein dents observed are first straightened, and a damaged partial tube section is separated and removed. A new partial tube section is then pushed in through a hole in the tube bottom. The joining of the new partial tube to the heat exchanger tube remaining inside the heat exchanger is performed by inner tube welding by means of an inner tube welding device, which is fastened to a bracket and a drive and is introduced through the new partial tube. Tests are performed after the welding together of the partial tube and the heat exchanger tube to demonstrate the quality.
