Abstract: A connector which is convenient for use in connecting a cross board, a rod member to a vertical surface formed by a frame board, a wall. In a vertical section of the connector, in a longitudinal direction as an axial direction thereof, the connector is in the shape of a rectangle, a trapezoid, or a pentagon which is inclined on one side of an upper surface thereof. In a transverse direction, orthogonal to the longitudinal direction, the connector is formed generally in a wedge shape whose tip faces up. The bottom of the connector is in the shape of a trapezoid. A through-hole which permits insertion therein of a fixing member such as a screw or the like is formed in an axis portion extending in the longitudinal direction of the connector in a position eccentric to the axis portion.

The adjustable structure may be detachable from the hinge.
Abstract: The present invention pertains to a central buffer coupling for rail-borne vehicles with a two-part coupling shaft formed by a front shaft part (2) carrying the coupling shaft (1) and by a rear shaft part (3) hinged horizontally pivotably to the chassis of the rail-borne vehicle, wherein the two shaft parts (2 and 3) of the two-part coupling shaft are connected to one another by a vertical connecting pin (5). A locking bar (7), which is displaceable in the longitudinal direction to a limited extent in the coupling shaft, is provided as the fixing device, and the said locking bar can be displaced, in the mutually extended position of the two shaft parts (2 and 3), by the force of a spring (13), into a locked position, in which the locking bar (7) associated with one of the shaft parts (2 or 3) engages the vertical groove (6) associated with the other shaft part (3 or 2) to make the coupling shaft rigid.
Abstract: Automatic baling press including a plurality of vertical cases 12, intermittently rotating in carousel fashion, with continuous feed device 5 and automatic binding device 18. The cases 12 are open on the top and bottom and rotate by grazing an underlying horizontal fixed plane 6. The fixed plane or plate is provided with an aperture 21 in the pressing region. A cylinder 10 having a vertical axis is provided whose head 11 is intended to fit precisely into the case 12. The pressing station is provided with a horizontal prismatic caisson 7 with an aperture 20 equal and juxtaposed to the aperture 21 of the plane 6. The caisson has a head 15 which is axially movable. A gate 16 is transversely movable to delimit a pressing chamber 24. The caisson has a mouth for the unloading of the bales and is provided with automatic binding means 8 which are fixed.

Abstract: A control-signal input device for computer game machines for generating game control signals based on the analysis results of biological signals, such as brain waves, in which a biological signal extracted by a biological-signal extracting means is analyzed. Signal components of each of a plurality of frequency components in the biological signal are obtained based on the above analysis results. The state of the biological signal is obtained by subjecting the signal components of each of the frequency components to a predetermined processing. A predetermined game control signal is generated in accordance with the state of the biological signal, and transmitted to a game machine via a changeover device.

Abstract: A signalling pre-processor for receiving signalling from a line card of a telephone line. The pre-processor converting analog signalling into digital form and integrating the digital signal to remove noise spikes which would otherwise appear as false traffic. The system further includes bit packing for receiving digital signalling in the form of 8-bit bytes and forming 32 bit words, each 32 bit word containing the data from a single bit address of 32 of the 8-bit bytes. These 32-bit words are packed into a memory array until all bits of a given order for a time sample have been gathered. Signal processing is then performed on the 32 bit word to update a state machine for determining the signalling state of each telephone line.
Abstract: A process and a device for the simultaneous tensioning and loosening of eccentric tension rods (19) of gas turbine rotors assembled from several turbine disks (23). An improved hydraulic tensioning device is used to provide an optimal circular and flat impact quality, and the quiet running of the gas turbine rotor is improved overall at high speeds. Further, it is guaranteed that the same forces act on each tension rod (19), the elongation of each tension rod (19) can be measured as accurately as possible, and a minimization of the setting force losses is achieved. A solid cylindrical ring (1) forms a piston chamber (11) in each case, whereby the piston chambers (11) are connected together with cross holes and are acted on by the hydraulic medium. The catch pin (3), through which a measuring rod (5) is guided, which makes contact with the head of the tension rod (19) by a pressure spring (18), is inserted through a boring in the piston (2).

Abstract: A garden folding deck-chair comprising locking pins (18) designed to pass through rack-type toothings (17) in order to establish the various positions of the back and seat and corresponding different positions of use. A guide groove (19) is provided in proximity to each rack toothing (17), and each locking pin (18) is forced and guided in the said guide groove (19), in order to prevent any displacement of the toothing away from the pin.
Abstract: An infusion maker comprising, similarly to an espresso maker, a lower container or boiler (11) and an lapper container (12). The bottom (12') of the upper container (12) is provided with an outlet (16) which connects said upper container (12) with the intermediate cup (14), and the chimney conduit (15) conveying the liquid from the lower container to the upper container is provided with a movable sleeve (17) which may be moved from a position associated with the closing of said outlet (16) and the opening of said chimney conduit (15), thus permitting the passage of the liquid from the lower container into the upper container, to a position associated with the opening of said outlet (16) and the closing of said chimney conduit, thus causing the liquid in the upper container to pour into the lower container.
Abstract: A tilting device for a direct current arc furnace and a process are disclosed for completely emptying the furnace while the furnace is operated with a continuous scrap supply through a lateral opening in the furnace vessel and removal bottoms. The scrap chute should remain in the opening of the furnace during the loading, melting, deslagging and tapping operations; it should be swiveled away only during the emptying of the furnace. The disclosed tilting device has a cam on the rolling cradle, so that the rolling mid-point remains at the zero position in a tilting range from .+-.5.degree. to .+-.15.degree., and when the furnace is completely emptied it moves to another position in a parallel direction to the bottom tapping opening. The position of the bottom tap opening changes only insignificantly in order to protect the parts of the bottom electrode located outside the vessel of the furnace from heat radiated by steel in the casting ladle.
