Abstract: This invention relates to a method for monitoring an executed process, more particularly for monitoring and tracing the execution of an application program on a window-based operating platform. The method of the present invention is first to collect the information of all executed processes, and then to build up a history table of all processes for finding out the main process of the execution of the application program. Next, according to the processes' handles saved in the history table, the monitoring method is to extract all sub-processes of the main process and construct the relation of all processes of the execution of the application program. Finally, hierarchically trace and monitor all executed processes of the application program.
Abstract: The present invention discloses a hardware data transfer integrity testing module and a hardware data transfer integrity testing method of parallel processing through the use of a ringbuffer. An interruption service program writes data into the ring buffer. When a main application program is processing the data, the interruption service program is still working to receive data, therefore saving the time for data transferring and testing. The buffer space required for the testing is also decreased.

Abstract: A container includes a casing defining an annular chamber for a volume of thread or wire pre-wound into coils to accommodate therein without becoming tangled, and a cover detachably closed onto the casing. A clearance exists between an upper peripheral edge of the casing and a lower peripheral edge of the cover when the cover and the casing are closed, allowing a free end of the thread or wire in the annular chamber to locate outside the container via the clearance. Therefore, the thread or wire in the container could be easily accessed and pulled outward at the free end for use without the need of opening the cover. The container could be refilled with a new thread or wire and therefore could be repeatedly used.
Abstract: An antislip pad is designed for protectively mounting onto an end of a changeover switch that is used to change over computer peripherals to be connected to a main unit of the computer. The pad is made of a material providing good softness. When a changeover switch has two antislip pads mounted onto two ends thereof, a bottom surface of the switch is not in direct contact with a surface on which the switch is positioned, protecting the switch from easily slipping over or dropping from the surface. The antislip pad is provided at upper and lower end surfaces with corresponding recesses and projections, respectively, so that two or more antislip pads could be stacked with the projections of an upper pad fitly engaging with the recesses of a lower pad to prevent the stacked pads from slipping relative to each other.
Abstract: This specification discloses a rechargeable battery structure and the method of making the same. The battery comprises a stacked structure suitable for rectangular batteries by an S-shape sequential folding so as to increase the energy density and the charge/discharge cycle of the battery while lowering the safety worry about filling too much electrolyte. The feature of a stacked battery structure is that no active material of the positive and negative electrodes is coated at folded corners. The folded corner is also glued to make a thinner battery cell after squeezing under pressure. This folded cell is further under the application of heat and pressure and put into a rectangular battery case made of metal or aluminum foil. A new battery structure is thus obtained after filling electrolyte and encapsulation.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for pre-installing software program. First create a configuration file according to the demand of software programs in each destination disk drive. Then the server of a local area network creates an operating system image file and an application file package. The files are sent to the local area network station to pre-install the software. Using the method, the pre-installation of software program can be realized. Also, the user may select the programs freely without partitioning and formatting the hard disk. At the same time, the installation of software can be done in a large number of new machines automatically.
Abstract: This specification discloses a decompression software package that can store files in an assigned storage device, which is mainly used to restore the previously partitioned/compressed files such as drivers, application programs or utilities downloaded from the network to a user assigned path or storage device. By directly running a decompression program, such as a quick release sector transfer (QRST) utilities, the user can select for the file to be restored a path of the storage device, such as a 1.44 MB floppy disk drive, an LS-120 or zip drive, or a hard drive. While restoring/decompressing the file, the software data such as the name of the software, version, etc, can be recorded to the aforementioned path, and a directory name can be built automatically at the same.
Abstract: This specification discloses an infrared (IR) 3D scanning system and, more specifically, a 3D scanning system that utilizes a plurality of IR detectors to detect an object and computes the 3D shape and its 3D temperature distribution of the object through signal processing of the 3D thermal image construction.

Abstract: A manufacturing method of monolithic integrated thermal bubble inkjet print heads and the structure for the same. The method utilizes semiconductor manufacturing technologies to configure various elements in a thermal bubble inkjet print head, such as ink channels, an ink slot, an energy transducer, an orifice plate, on a single substrate. The ink channels are formed on an top surface of the substrate using the anisotropic etching technique. The ink slot is formed on a back surface of the substrate using the anisotropic etching technique. The energy transducer and the orifice plate are formed in order above the ink channels using the coating and etching techniques. This thermal bubble inkjet print head manufacturing method is particularly useful in the all batch process without employing the steps of precision alignment joint for the orifice plate in a conventional inkjet print head. Therefore, the method can greatly increase production efficiency and lower production costs.

Abstract: A bifocal optical pickup head is disclosed for use in a optical pickup apparatus having a single objective lens, for generating two different focuses (bifocus) to access a compact disc (CD) and a digital versatile disc (DVD), which the thickness is different. When a beam passes through an optical element disclosed in the present invention, numerical aperture is controlled and spherical aberration is reduced by the optical element due to variations in optical path and radius. Therefore, after beams having different numerical apertures are focused by an objective lens, various focuses can be obtained.

Abstract: A collapsible stroller is movable between a collapsed position for storage and an operating position for transporting the passenger. The frame of the stroller comprises armrests, front leg tubes, rear leg tubes, and handles. In comparison with prior art there is no additional linkage provided by the invention. Also, latch as well as associated linkages and hinges are eliminated. In addition, the collapsing force is suitably transmitted to each component of the frame. Moreover, the handle is remained on top of the frame after collapsed, thus facilitating the future unfolding operation of the stroller.
Abstract: A necktie-setting clip includes an inverted triangular front shell defining a wide and flat top opening and a narrow and deep bottom opening for a necktie to extend through the top and the bottom openings to locate behind the front shell. A pressing member is pivotally connected to a rear side of the front shell. When the pressing member is turned to a horizontal position perpendicular to the front shell, the necktie-setting clip could be adjusted to a desired position on the necktie, and when the pressing member is turned to a downward vertical position parallel to the front shell, the necktie-setting clip presses the necktie against the front shell. The necktie-setting clip replaces a conventional tie knot and makes the setting of the necktie around the user's neck easily, and may serve as an ornament on the necktie.
