  • Patent number: 6893408
Abstract: An integrally molded palm-size multi-functional massage device has a thicker rear end and a thinner front end. A central portion of the rear end has an upper and a lower projection to define between them a largest height of the massage device. The massage device has an upper and a lower surface respectively extending from the rear upper and lower central projections toward the front end and two lateral sides of the massage device, so that the front end and the two lateral sides are reduced in thickness. A recess is formed on the upper surface, and an area outside the recess is slightly upward curved and has multiple rib strips provided thereon. While the upper surface provides a frictional massaging effect, projections formed on outer edges of the massage device serve as pressing points adapted to create different magnitudes of pressure against a user's body.

  • Patent number: 6862955
Abstract: A wrench comprises an enclosed box portion comprising an opening having an upper groove, an internal crescent cavity adjacent a handle and being in communication with the opening, a positioning mechanism including a ring disposed in the opening and a spring urged against a wall of the cavity, a pawl in the cavity leaned against the wall of the cavity, a ring member having an annular recess, a flexible C-ring put on the recess, and a ratchet wheel in the opening and having an upper portion with the ring member fitted therearound so that the C-ring can be disposed in both the recess and the groove. Counterclockwise rotating the wrench will transfer exerted force to projections on an inner wall of the opening since the pawl is prevented from rotating about the ratchet wheel. Clockwise rotating the wrench will disable the projections for enabling an angle adjustment of exerted force.

  • Patent number: 6785202
Abstract: A magnetic restoring device of actuator provides a sufficient magnetic restoring force for stably holding a movable part of actuator in a neutral position. The actuator acts as an objective lens driving device in an optical pickup. A non-contact magnetic restoring mechanism is provided for causing pickup to return to a neutral position after a focusing or tracking operation. The magnetic restoring device comprises magnets, two magnetic inductive members, and two yokes wherein magnets and yokes are opposite; one arc-shaped surface is formed on the magnet in the focusing direction; and the other one is formed on the magnet in the tracking direction. The magnetic inductive members are provided between the magnets and the yokes to form a magnetic circuit, thereby increasing a magnetic field intensity and sensitivity of actuator. The device increases a magnetic restoring force in the focusing and tracking directions respectively.

  • Patent number: 6746823
Abstract: A process of fabricating a non-gap 3-D microstructure array mold core comprises a first step in which a buffer layer is coated on a substrate. A photomask layer is then coated of the buffer layer. A pattern is subsequently formed on the photomask by photo-lithography. The patterned photomask layer is subjected to a reflow by which a microstructure array is formed on the photomask layer. The microstructure array is coated with a metal conductive layer. The microgaps of the microstructure array are eliminated by an electrocasting layer which is coated on the microstructure array. The non-gap microstructure array mold core so fabricated is made into a metal molding tool by microinjection molding or microthermo-pressure molding.
