Abstract: A system comprises a processing chamber for maintaining a hydrogen plasma at low pressure. The processing chamber has a long, wide, thin geometry to favor deposition of thin-film silicon on sheet substrates over the chamber walls. The sheet substrates are moved through between ends. A pair of opposing radio frequency electrodes above and below the workpieces are electrically driven hard to generate a flat, pancaked plasma cloud in the middle spaces of the processing chamber. A collinear series of gas injector jets pointed slightly up on a silane-jet manifold introduce 100% silane gas at high velocity from the side in order to roll the plasma cloud in a coaxial vortex. A second such silane-jet manifold is placed on the opposite side and pointed slightly down to further help roll the plasma and maintain a narrow band of silane concentration.

Abstract: A gaming method is disclosed and comprises: providing at least one player with at least one pocket card; dealing three community cards; allowing the player to either check or place a bet before the third community card is dealt; and allowing the player to create a poker hand comprising: the pocket card, the third community card and either the first or second community card. The third community card or “key card” must be used by all remaining players and the dealer to form their poker hands. A gaming layout is also disclosed and comprises: at least one player position which is adapted to identify a player's set of cards and includes an ante location adapted to identify a player's ante; a first community card position; a second community card position; and a third community card position, wherein the first, second, and third community card positions are distinct from each other.
Abstract: A system and method of planning an operational task of a workplace collects data related to at least one task. An ergonomic risk score of each task is generated. A determination is made if the ergonomic risk score is acceptable. An option is provided to a user to proceed with the plan if the ergonomic risk score is acceptable. An option is provided to the user to redesign at least a portion of the plan.

Abstract: A system for testing components of a simulator has a slave device. A master controller is coupled to the slave device. The master controller transmits chip select and data signals to the slave device for testing a component of the simulator. A computer system is coupled to the master controller. The computer system displays at least one image of a control panel. A cursor of the computer system is placed on a desired component on the at least one image of the control panel. A test signal from the computer system is sent to the master controller for testing the component of the simulator.
Abstract: A process independent voltage controlled logarithmic attenuator has an attenuator control stage block having a first input coupled to a controlled input and a second input coupled to an offset generator. An attenuator transistor is coupled to the attenuator controlled stage block. An output of the attenuator controlled stage block is both slope and maximum voltage definable for a process independent design.

Abstract: There is provided a top plunger adapter assembly for use in controlling sand fouling of an oil pump system wherein the oil pump system reciprocates between upstrokes and downstrokes within a barrel, and wherein the oil pump system includes as components a sucker rod and a plunger. In one embodiment, the top plunger adapter assembly includes an adapter having a first end configured to receive a sucker rod, wherein the adapter includes a chamber which allows fluid movement therethrough; a collection cage rotatably mounted to the adapter, the collection cage defining an interior region, and the collection cage having an upper lip configured to direct sand toward the interior region of the collection cage during an upstroke of the pump; and a bottom cage attached to the adapter and the bottom cage having a bottom end configured to attach to a pump plunger, wherein the bottom cage includes a passage to allow fluid communication through the bottom cage to the chamber of the adapter.
Abstract: A semiconductor device has a substrate and an encapsulation area on a first surface of the substrate. A first plurality of metal lands is on the first surface of the substrate around a periphery of the encapsulation area. Solder mask covers portions of the first plurality of metal lands closest to the encapsulation area. Remaining portions of the first plurality of metal lands are exposed areas having no solder mask.
Abstract: A regulated cascode current source has a current source circuit. A level shifter circuit is coupled to the current source circuit. The level shifter circuit has a circuit for independently controlling a voltage on a cascode node.
Abstract: A semiconductor device has a substrate having first, second, and third surfaces. An electrically conductive pattern is formed on the first surface. A semiconductor die has a bond pad formed on a first surface thereof. A second surface of the semiconductor die is coupled to the first surface of the substrate. A first connection member electrically couples the bond pad and the electrically conductive pattern. A first land has a first, second, and third surfaces. The second surface of the first land is coupled to the first electrically conductive pattern. A first encapsulant encapsulates the first semiconductor die, the first connection member, and the first land such that the first surface of the first land is exposed.

Abstract: A method for treating medical disorders manifesting themselves in the blood, including diabetes and anemia, by exposing the sufferer to audible acoustic waves from a transducer immersed in liquid. The person is preferably placed between one and twenty feet from the wave source, and is preferably exposed to waves at a frequency of about 600 Hertz for approximately twenty five minutes. In one embodiment, the person sits in a jacuzzi-like container together with the transducer.
Abstract: A misting system for a vehicle having a water pump uses a connector for splicing into a water line of the vehicle. A valve is coupled to the connector for activating and deactivating the misting system. Opening the valve causes pressure in the water line to be lessened thereby causing the water pump to activate and supply more water to the water line. A filter is coupled to the valve for removing particulates from the water in the water line. Piping is coupled to the filter. The piping will have watertight quick connect/disconnect connectors for quickly assembling the piping. Misting nozzles are coupled to the piping for spaying a fine mist of water in the air.
Abstract: A debris evacuation apparatus and method evacuates debris in a pumping system that forms between the plunger exterior and barrel interior. The apparatus has at least one seal and one groove located south of the seal, with the seal blocking northward travel of debris and directing it to the groove. Ports within the groove permit debris to enter the debris evacuation apparatus. Interior to the debris evacuation apparatus, the entering debris will become mixed with pumped fluid, and will be drawn out of the pumping system with the pumped fluid. The pumped fluid passing through the debris evacuation apparatus will be caused to rotate by an interior section located at a south portion of the debris evacuation apparatus, utilizing a plurality of angled veins surrounding a closed center section located at a north end of the interior section.
Abstract: A system and method for tracking and locating wireless tags by a wireless location system in limited and well defined areas that provides for differentiation between the well defined areas comprises transmitting identifying area information by short range transmitters, at least one short range transmitter positioned in the proximity of an entry and exit point of each well defined area. The wireless tags receive the identifying area information when in coverage range of one of the short range transmitters. The wireless tags will transmit the identifying information in the tag message. The transmission will include the last identifying information received and accepted by the wireless tag. A plurality of location receivers and/or access points are installed in or in the proximity of the well defined areas for locating the wireless tags.
