  • Patent number: 5075050
Abstract: A method for a supervising and/or controlling of discharged volume or weight of plastic mass flow for e.g. extrusion, injection moulding or blow moulding in a system including a plastification section, which feeds the plastic melt to a volumetric discharge device. This discharge device discharges in turn the molten material continuously or in portions to a forming tool. The pressure and temperature of the plastic melt is determined in connection with the discharge device and the density of the plastic material is calculated by means of these measured values.

  • Patent number: 5056269
Abstract: An apparatus (1) for work inside piping comprising an elongate clamping and/or moving unit (2) with a working attachment (8) at one end. The unit (2) is provided with two arrays of radially projectable feet (6, 7), suitably at either end thereof. The working attachment (8) includes radially projectable elements (22), all of which are adapted for being displaced to the same extent, and one array of feet (6) placed at the end of the unit (2) opposite the working attachment being adapted such that its feet are thrust out to the same extent. The unit (2) suitably comprises two parts (4, 5) which are mutually, reciprocally movable, there being an array of feet (6, 7) arranged in each part (4, 5).

  • Patent number: 5045002
Abstract: The present invention relates briefly to a jet propulsion assembly for ships, the assembly including a propeller pump of an axial or a semiaxial type. The propeller pump has a pump housing (6), the inlet of which is connected to a water inlet channel and the outlet of which is connected to an outlet device. In the water flow channel through the pump housing a pump wheel (11) is rotably journalled in a stationary casing (8). A drive shaft (12) of the pump wheel (11) extends from a drive unit through the water inlet channel to the pump wheel (11). The pump wheel (11) and the drive shaft (12) are connected by a flexible coupling (13) which is essentially torsional resistant but permits angular deviations between the drive shaft (12) and the rotational shaft of the pump wheel (11).

  • Patent number: 5030184
Abstract: An eccentric gear comprising a stationary gear wheel (2) and an eccentric gear wheel (9). The eccentric wheel is freely mounted on the input shaft and is driven round by eccentric means (4, 6) causing the eccentric wheel to roll round the internal teeth on the stationary wheel. A driving dog transmits the slow rotation of the eccentric wheel to an output shaft (14). Distinguishing for the invention is that the teeth are corrected such that the eccentric wheel is adjusted with the aid of the two eccentric means such that there is practically no backlash. A computer calculated least clearance between respective top lands on the teeth is obtained with respect to tooth meshing. The eccentric means comprises two cylindrical sleeves arranged eccentrically one in the other. At one end part of each of the sleeves, one of which is arranged eccentrically in the other, there is a radially outstanding tongue (5, 7).

  • Patent number: 5025563
Abstract: Angle transducer unit of the multiturn measuring type for absolute measurement of the angular position of a rotatable shaft. A first transducer (10) of the absolute angular measurement type with a drive shaft (3) is non-rotatably mounted on the rotatable shaft. A second angle transducer (11) of the absolute angular measurement type has a driven shaft (4). There are gear wheels (1,2) mounted on the drive and driven shafts, these gear wheels being mutually in mesh to form a gear for up or down gearing of the rotational rate of the drive shaft. The two angle transducers, e.g. resolvers, are intended for being conventionally connected to an apparatus for measuring the differential angular position of the shafts. Novel to the angle transducer unit is that the gear wheels include an internally toothed gear wheel (2) and an externally toothed gear wheel (1).
