The method is applicable to a first edge device of a virtual extensible local area network, and comprises: receiving a target message, and determining a target network tag and a target destination address of the target message; determining a target outbound interface corresponding to the target message based on a result of matching the target network tag and the target destination address with a locally stored correspondence relationship of a network tag, a destination address and an outbound interface; sending the target message through the target outbound interface. In one aspect, a first NUMA node queries a forwarding table based on a destination IP address of a packet to be forwarded to obtain a plurality of egress interfaces corresponding to the destination IP address; obtain, for each of the plurality of egress interfaces, node information of a second NUMA node to which the egress interface belongs, determining that the egress interface is on the first NUMA node when the node information of the second NUMA node is same as node information of the first NUMA node, wherein the second NUMA node is on the network device; and send the packet via an egress interface which belongs to the first NUMA node and is in the plurality of egress interfaces.

Abstract: When a CB device receives through a first port a packet sent from a PE device, the CB device analyzes a unique identifier of the PE device from the packet. If the first port is not included in any of aggregation groups, an array table is queried. If the unique identifier of the PE device does not exist in the array table, an idle first aggregation group identifier is selected, a first aggregation group corresponding to the first aggregation group identifier is created, the first port is added to the first aggregation group, and a correspondence between the first aggregation group identifier and the unique identifier of the PE device is recorded in the array table.

In an example, a cache receives, from a forwarding component, an entry reading command which carries a storage address in a storage of a first forwarding entry to be read. The cache locally searches for a first Hash bucket in a valid state according to the storage address of the first forwarding entry, the first Hash bucket containing a storage address identical to that of the first forwarding entry. If the first Hash bucket is found, the cache transmits, to the forwarding component, the first forwarding entry cached in cache space corresponding to the first Hash bucket. If not found, the cache reads the first forwarding entry from the storage and transmits the first forwarding entry to the forwarding component when the first Hash bucket is not found.

Abstract: A server may receive an authentication packet from a Forwarder via a data channel. Where, the server enables a BRAS control plane function and the Forwarder enables a BRAS forwarding plane function. The server authenticates the authentication packet. When the authentication is successful, a session entry for instructing the Forwarder to forward a data packet is created, and the session entry and an identity of the data channel are transmitted to the Forwarder through a protocol connection paired with the data channel.

In an example of the present disclosure, a first forwarding device constructs a detection packet for a service flow, wherein forwarding information in a packet head of the detection packet is same as forwarding information in a packet head of the service flow; forwards the detection packet based on the forwarding information in the packet head of the detection packet; when an error controlling packet corresponding to the detection packet is received from a second forwarding device in a set time period, the first forwarding device determines an address of the second forwarding device, returns to perform a process of constructing the detection packet for the service flow; otherwise, determines the path of the service flow based on the at least one respective address of the at least one second forwarding device.

Abstract: This disclosure provides a method and device for controlling network access. According to the method, an aggregation switch may configure thereon an ACL rule comprising a first network segment and a second network segment, wherein the first network segment and the second network segment correspond to a same user group or different user groups, or the first network segment corresponds to a user group and the second network segment corresponds to a resource group. The aggregation switch may, after receiving a user packet from an access switch, match a source IP address of the user packet with the first network segment, and a destination IP address of the user packet with the second network segment. If the source IP address of the user packet matches with the first network segment and the destination IP address of the user packet matches with the second network segment, the user packet is discarded.

Abstract: Methods for detecting a path, a forwarding device and a machine-readable storage medium are provided. In an example, a first forwarding device receives a first detection packet sent from a previous hop forwarding device on a path of a designated service flow and used for detecting the path of the designated service flow; the first forwarding device obtains a second detection packet by adding a device address of the first forwarding device to a payload of the first detection packet; the first forwarding device forwards the second detection packet to a next hop forwarding device on the path of the designated service flow based on forwarding information in a header of the second detection packet; and the first forwarding device sends to a SDN controller a forwarding error message in which a device address of at least one forwarding device in the payload of the first detection packet is carried.

Then, a mounting point corresponding to the RAID unique identifier is found according to a correspondence between a unique identifier of a RAID and a mount point; and the target partition for installing the operating system is determined in the found mount point, and an identifier is added for the target partition. In a small system for an operating system to be installed, an installation partition and an installation disc where the installation partition is located may be determined by the identifier of the target partition, and the operating system is installed into the installation partition of the installation disc.

Abstract: A method and device for processing a packet are provided in this disclosure. According to an example of the method, an HTTPS packet is received from a user host, and a non-online user session entry matching the HTTPs packet is searched for according to a source IP address and a destination IP address of the HTTPS packet. In case that the non-online user session entry is found, a token is obtained from a first token bucket if determining that a user session corresponding to the non-online user session entry has no token, where the number of tokens in the first token bucket is set based on processing capability of a CPU of the access gateway device. When the token is successfully obtained, the HTTPS packet is sent to the CPU for processing. When the token has failed to be obtained, the HTTPS packet is abandoned.
