The towing control unit may include lamp connectivity circuits for, for example, the left turn signal and the right turn signal. To determine whether the turn light is connected, the corresponding connectivity circuit periodically generates a test signal. Based on characteristics of a response signal to the test signal. The connectivity circuit determines whether the corresponding turn signal light of the trailer is connected based on a response to the test signal. The connectivity circuit may distinguished whether an incandescent-based turn signal light, a light emitting diode (LED)-based turn signal light, and an open circuit is sensed based on the characteristics of the response signal.

The link can rotate about a rotation axis from a first orientation in which the link is inseparable from the guide block to a target orientation in which the link is separable from the guide block. When the first pin enters a locking area at an end of the first slot, the drive shoe imparts one or more loads on the first pin that urge the link into the target orientation.

The method for producing a long chain dicarboxylic acid by fermentation provided by the present invention can effectively reduce the amount of alkali used in the fermentation process and the amount of acid used in the subsequent extraction of the long chain dicarboxylic acid, thereby reducing the amount of salt in the whole production process of the long chain dicarboxylic acid. At the same time, the method of the present invention also has many advantages such as shortening the fermentation time, increasing the acid production, reducing the amount of medium, and suitable for the production of various types of long-chain dicarboxylic acids, etc.
