Abstract: The present invention allows a CEC system to automatedly track the use, storage, access, and modification of sensitive information/data in the system through desktop monitoring. Further, through desktop, video, and audio monitoring of CSRs the system can automatedly determine the improper use, access, storage, and modification of sensitive information by implementing sensitive data use rules that allow a system to be specialized for the user. Finally, the system can automatedly determine and implement violation actions for the improper use, storage, access, and manipulation of sensitive information. This provides an intelligent system capable of locating all sensitive data in the system and regulating the use, access, and storage of sensitive data in the system.

Abstract: Sunroof drive apparatus and related sunroof assemblies for use with vehicles are disclosed. A disclosed assembly includes a sunroof panel, a rail, a guide block attached to part of the rail, a bracket beneath the sunroof panel, a link in the rail removably connected to the guide block, and a drive shoe in the rail slidably coupled to the link. The drive shoe includes first and second slots to receive respective first and second pins of the link. The link can rotate about a rotation axis from a first orientation in which the link is inseparable from the guide block to a target orientation in which the link is separable from the guide block. When the first pin enters a locking area at an end of the first slot, the drive shoe imparts one or more loads on the first pin that urge the link into the target orientation.

Abstract: A driver monitor system and method of optimizing use of cognitive resources of a user in a vehicle is disclosed. The system includes in-cabin video cameras, a display device, and processing circuitry. The method performed by the processing circuitry includes monitoring eye gaze direction using images from the in-cabin video cameras, gradually softening image regions and lines displayed in the display device that are outside a first vision area of the user of the vehicle, and using the eye gaze direction to predict whether the user is transitioning into a new focus vision area that had been outside the first vision area. When the user's eyes begin to move, begin sharpening softened image regions and lines such that by the time eyes have shifted into the new focus vision area, the image regions and lines in the new focus vision area reach full sharpness.

Abstract: A method detecting passenger specific voice data based on vehicle operating conditions that are set based on the passenger specific voice data are provided. The method includes obtaining, using a sensor operating in association with the computing device, image data associated with a passenger in the vehicle, obtaining an identification of the passenger based on the image data, and retrieving one or more voice characteristics of the passenger based on the identification. The method also includes selecting, by the computing device, an operating condition for an additional sensor of the vehicle based on the one or more voice characteristics of the passenger, and detecting, by the additional sensor that operates in the operating condition, voice data specific to the passenger.

Abstract: A driver monitor method and system for mitigating cognitive tunneling in a vehicle includes in-cabin video cameras, a heart rate monitor, an audio-visual device, and processing circuitry that detects eye gaze direction, eye lid position, and head position using images from the in-cabin video cameras, and measures heart rate variability using the heart rate monitor. A machine learning device uses the eye gaze direction, eye lid position, head position, and heart rate variability to predict whether a driver is transitioning into a cognitive tunneling state or a fatigue state. The audio-visual device outputs one audio-visual cue to mitigate the cognitive tunneling state and outputs a different cue to mitigate the fatigue state. The machine learning device learns by performing a reinforcement learning algorithm in which the audio-video device outputs a verification request and receives a response to the verification request that is fed back to the machine learning device.
