Abstract: A neuro-symbolic retrieval augmented generation hybrid method includes detecting an incomplete entigen group within a knowledge database. The incomplete entigen group includes entigens and one or more entigen relationships between at least some of the entigens. The incomplete entigen group represents knowledge of a topic. The method further includes obtaining additive content for the topic based on the incomplete entigen group and generating an additive entigen group based on the additive content. The method further includes updating the incomplete entigen group utilizing the additive entigen group to produce an updated entigen group. The method further includes indicating that the updated entigen group has an un-curated status when the additive entigen group conflicts with the incomplete entigen group.

Abstract: A separable mounting hinge device including two detachably engageable leaf hinge members wherein the first hinge member includes at least two knuckles affixed around a pin leaving at least one open knuckle seat therebetween. The second hinge member includes at least one open knuckle capable of operationally engaging around the pin and at least one leaf-knuckle protrusion. The second hinge member may also include a retention member. These hinge members' knuckle(s) and affixed pin open knuckle seat(s) operationally interlock thereby allowing for typical hinge movements, while detachment of said members simply requires the application of force within specifically designated angular ranges to overcome the protrusion, and potentially included retention member. As designed, the separable mounting hinge device minimizes the likelihood of any incidental or accidental detachment and obviates the need to unfasten at least one hinge from a door, panel, or frame only to refasten it later.

Abstract: A data processing system implements obtaining build logs that include information associated with a software build problem; analyzing the logs to generate a knowledge graph identifying the relationship between various entities in the logs; extracting a signature of a candidate root cause of the build problem from the knowledge graph representing a subset of nodes and edges of the knowledge graph; providing the signature of the candidate root cause to a graphical language model to obtain a prediction of a category of root cause failure selected from among a plurality of root cause failures; constructing a prompt for a language model to generate a root cause failure analysis that describes the root cause of the build problem, the prompt including the category of root cause; receiving the root cause failure analysis from the language model; and performing one or more actions in response to receiving the root cause failure analysis.

Abstract: A method for controlling reactivity in a nuclear reactor is provided. The method comprises circulating coolant through the nuclear reactor. A composition of the coolant comprises water and gadolinium. The gadolinium is present in the coolant at a concentration suitable for controlling a neutronic reactivity of the nuclear reactor. A method for adjusting reactivity in a nuclear reactor and a coolant composition for a nuclear reactor are also provided.

Abstract: Implementations of a semiconductor package may include one or more semiconductor die directly coupled to only a direct leadframe attach (DLA) leadframe including two or more leads; and a coating covering the one or more semiconductor die and the DLA leadframe where when the semiconductor package is coupled into an immersion cooling enclosure, the coating may be in contact with a dielectric coolant while the two or more leads extend out of the immersion cooling enclosure.

Abstract: An aspect includes inspecting, using a sensor array, a batch of items in a stage of a process for defects that meet a predefined defect criteria, obtaining from the sensor array, a number of items in the batch with the defects, the batch of items is a sample from a population of items. The aspect includes computing a statistical significance level of a difference between a proportion of defects in the stage of the process and a predefined proportion threshold by calculating a p-value of a statistical test about the proportion of the defects through computing a solution to an equation derived from inverting an Agresti-Coull confidence interval for the proportion of defects.

Abstract: A drum brake assembly comprising first and second brake pad assemblies and a wear sensor device. The wear sensor device comprises a sleeve, a plunger, and a sensor. The sleeve is coupled to the first brake pad assembly. The plunger is coupled to the second brake pad assembly. The sensor provides a signal indicative of a position of the plunger with respect to the sleeve.

Abstract: This document describes an electronic device with a chassis and a vapor chamber positioned within the chassis. The vapor chamber includes a base plate and a cap portion attached to the base plate to form a sealed chamber. The base plate extends outward beyond the sealed chamber to form an extended portion with a first edge attached to a sidewall of the chassis and a second edge, in the form of a mechanical flange, connected to the chassis. The base plate with the extended portion forms the floor of a battery compartment within the chassis and provides a thermal path between the vapor chamber and the chassis. By integrating the vapor chamber into the structural components, the need for a separate mid-plate is eliminated, allowing for a thinner device that efficiently dissipates heat while maintaining structural rigidity.

Abstract: In non-limiting examples of the present disclosure, systems and methods are described that relate to providing, in a browser environment, a sidebar search capability to users. Once in a primary content page, the user is able to select text for searching. In response, the system provides a context menu or keyboard shortcut that includes an option for conducting a sidebar search. In response to user selection, the system passes highlighted or selected text as a parameter to the search engine. The results are provided in an area alongside the currently displayed content page, such as in a sidebar search pane. The user is able to experience search results without leaving the context of their current search tab.

Abstract: A touch screen display includes a plurality of electrodes configured to facilitate touch sense functionality based on electrode signals having a drive signal component and a receive signal component, a plurality of drive-sense circuits coupled to at least some of the plurality of electrodes to generate a plurality of sensed signals, and a processing module. The processing module is configured to cause the touch screen display to receive the plurality of sensed signals. A stream of capacitance image data associated with the plurality of cross points is generated based on the plurality of sensed signals. The stream of capacitance image data is processed to detect a touchless gesture.

In one example, a golf club head includes a body portion, a first interior cavity portion, and a face portion, which includes a back surface with a face perimeter portion, a ridge portion extending from the face perimeter portion, and a wall portion coupled to the ridge portion and extending outward from the ridge portion to define a second interior cavity portion in the body portion. The golf club head further includes a first filler material and a second filler material. The first interior cavity portion is at least partially filled with the first filler material, and the second interior cavity portion is at least partially filled with the second filler material. Abstract: A check valve having a through-flow grooved poppet is provided in which the poppet includes a plurality of helically-oriented grooves around the exterior surface of the poppet, as well as a set of poppet apertures. When the check valve is displaced from a closed position, fluid flows from a first port to a second port by passing through both the set of poppet apertures and the plurality of helically-oriented groves positioned on the exterior of the poppet. The poppet thus provides multiple flow paths which improves the performance of the check valve by reducing the pressure drop upon activation.

Abstract: Embodiments provide a vertiport system with rotatable surfaces. The rotatable surfaces can be configured to rotate after an aircraft arrives at the rotatable surface. As a result, the aircraft can be allowed to land with a first orientation facing into a headwind, and then be rotated to have a second orientation that is better suited for reset processes at the vertiport, such as passenger exchange. When ready for a subsequent flight, the rotatable surface can rotate again so that the aircraft faces into the wind again for takeoff.

Abstract: A basketball game includes a controller, first and second sensors, an audio device, a mounting bracket, a backboard mounted to the mounting bracket, and a basketball rim. The first sensor is configured to detect a basketball traveling though the basketball rim and to responsively generate a first signal. The second sensor is configured to detect movement of the basketball rim from a first position to a second position and responsively generating a second signal. The controller is configured to: initiating a game, detecting receipt of the first signal, detecting receipt of the second signal, playing a first audio signal through the audio device if the first signal was detected and the second signal was not detected within a predetermined time period, and, playing a second audio signal through the audio device if the first signal was detected and the second signal was detected within a predetermined time period.
