Abstract: A process for isolating phosphatidylcholine free of lysophospholipid from egg powder wherein the egg powder is treated with a solvent mixture of a low boiling petroleum ether fraction (40.degree. to 80.degree. C.), a lower C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkanol and water, the undissolved material is separated from the solution phase, the solution phase is given onto a column filled with silica gel at a temperature in the range from 20.degree. to 50.degree. C., the elution is carried out at that temperature with the same solvent mixture, the main run is collected and the dissolved phosphatidylcholine is isolated therefrom as usual.
Abstract: Use of glycofurol for the liquidization of pharmaceutical preparations containing more than 50% phosphatidyl choline with a high content of unsaturated fatty acids, which preparations can contain another active ingredient as well as phosphatidyl choline, and in which the viscosity so obtained permits filling into soft gelatine capsules.

Abstract: Pharmaceutical formulations for the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders, which contain as the active component an effective gastrointestinal disorder alleviating amount of a 1,2-diacylglycero-3-phosphocholine in which 75-86% by weight of the acyl radicals are unsaturated fatty acid radicals having a chain length of 16, 18 or 20 carbon atoms. The mixtures of fatty acid radicals in the acyl groups in the 1- and 2-positions preferably have different compositions. The formulations can also contain other active compounds, in particular those which display injurious gastrointestinal side effects.
Abstract: Phospholipid concentrates from natural or synthetic phospholipids and physiologically acceptable organic solvents and further additives of the following composition:20-60 wght. % phospholipids0-23 wght. % glycerin5-62.5 wght. % organic solvent0-30 wght. % co-emulsifier0-35 wght. % dissolving intermediary0-15 wght. % water0-15 wght. % vegetable oil or neutral oilThe phospholipids are a mixture of phosphatidyl choline, phosphatidyl ethanol amine, N-acetyl phosphatidyl ethanol amine, and other phosphatides, the concentrates perferably containing a mixture of 10-50 wght. % phosphatidyl choline, 10-30 wght. % phosphatidyl diethanol amine, 10-30 wght. % N-acylphosphatidyl ethanol amine, and 3-10 wght. % other phosphatides, in relation to the total quantity of phospholipids. The phospholipid concentrates are particularly suitable as auxiliary agents in the production and application of spray mixtures containing plant protectants.
