    Abstract: A foldable mounting collar includes first and second collar segments. Each collar segment includes a planar annular segment that substantially subtends a semicircle, a collar flange that, when the planar annular segment is horizontal, extends vertically downward along an inner periphery of the planar annular segment, such that the collar flange forms a cylindrical portion, and two hinge flanges that, when the planar annular segment is horizontal, extend upwardly from each end of the semicircle formed by each planar annular segment. The mounting collar further includes pivot means that hingedly couple pairs of the hinge flanges of the collar segments. The second collar segment can rotate, relative to the first collar segment, through at least a polar angle range sufficient for the mounting collar to fit through an aperture having a diameter defined by the cylindrical portions of the collar flanges when both collar segments are horizontal.

    Abstract: An optic for aisle lighting includes a portion of an optical material defined by a length and a cross-sectional profile. The cross-sectional profile is characterized by a cavity within the optical material, two upwardly-facing surfaces of the optical material on opposite sides of the cavity from one another, and downwardly-facing surfaces of the optical material. The cavity is bounded by an upward facing aperture, and at least three faces of the optical material that meet at interior angles. Light received through the upward facing aperture is separated at the interior angles, and refracted by the faces of the optical material, into separate light beams equal in number to the faces. The two upwardly-facing surfaces internally reflect the separate light beams downwardly. The downwardly-facing surfaces intercept respective portions of the separate light beams, and refract the portions as they exit the optic.

The vertical side may include an additional extended edge and a curved surface that provide a second concave opening where the vertical side joins the base side. The endcap may include a rim that overlaps a portion of the housing. The first or second concave openings may receive fasteners to attach the endcap. Mounting brackets may attach to the first or second concave openings, such as to attach the housing to a surface.

The first radio may become operative upon the wake-up. The method may further include receiving, via the first radio, an activation message from a control device. The activation message may cause the wireless sensor to maintain operation of the first radio for a first specified period of time. The method may further include resuming, by the wireless sensor, operation in the reduced power operating mode after the first specified period of time. The wireless sensor may be a battery-powered wireless sensor.

A row of light emitting diodes (LEDs) is installed on the first flange, positioned to direct light away from the first flange and toward the second flange, and generally parallel with the major surfaces of the flat sheet. The light guide is positioned between the flanges and against the backing structure. The width of the light guide is less than the distance between the LEDs and the second flange. The backing structure and the light guide are bent toward a bottom surface of the backing structure such that the flanges are drawn toward each other and such that the LEDs are drawn toward an input face of the light guide.

    Abstract: A light fixture controller is configured for controlling the color temperature and intensity of a light fixture that includes at least two LED groups. Each LED group includes multiple LEDs configured to produce light at certain color temperatures. The light fixture controller receives a color temperature setting and an intensity setting for the light fixture and generates control signals based on these settings. A first control signal only turns on the first LED group for a first duration of a cycle and a second control signal only turns on the second LED group for a second duration of the cycle. The ratio between the first and second duration is determined based on the color temperature setting. The control signal further includes a dimming control signal for controlling a current flowing through the LED groups based on the intensity setting for the light fixture.
