Abstract: A graphical user interface (GUI) tool analysis system helps determine whether to purchase or license automated testing tools. The system provides guidance, e.g., to test managers, for making decisions on expenditures for the automated test tools. As a result, the test managers need not make purchasing decisions ad hoc, based on their own personal experience and perceived benefits of implementing a tool based automatic testing approach versus a manual testing approach.

Abstract: A system is described for managing a collaborative environment. The system may include a memory, an interface, and a processor. The memory may store items provided by users in a collaborative environment. Each item may be related to at least one other item. The processor may identify the collaborative environment and may receive a request from a user to flag an item in the collaborative environment. The request may include a reason for flagging the item and a description of the reason. The processor may determine a priority level of a plurality of priority levels for handling the item based at least on the reason. Each priority level may be associated with an action to be performed on the item. The processor may perform the action associated with the determined priority level.

Abstract: A system for communication network management of a utility grid includes a database configured to store a grid information data set, where the grid information data set includes network device information for the utility grid and a network management system executable by a processor to: receive an event message from one or more network devices indicative of one or more failures in a communication network of the utility grid; retrieve the grid information data set; identify one or more network device associated with the one or more failures based on the grid information data set; transmit a request for a response to the identified one or more network devices; determine a response pattern based on responses from the identified one or more network devices in order to identify a cause of the failure based on the response pattern.

Abstract: A form layout system includes a form layout tool that provides a flexible way to lay out forms on a web page. The form layout tool configures a web configuration file with the location of form layout styles, and uses the form layout styles, a number of columns, a number of fields, and a “size” of each field to include in the component of a page layout to create a page layout for a target application. The form layout tool generates a revised application page with the created page layout by applying the form layout style to the created page layout.

Abstract: A system for experimentation includes an experiment engine which can define an experiment relating to various treatments for a set of content elements. The experiment engine conducts the experiment by delivering treatments to control groups over the network. Abstract: An asset management system (AMS) facilitates management of electronic assets of a software service delivery organization. The AMS may facilitate classification of the electronic assets according to delivery phases in which each electronic asset is usable and accordingly enables users to identify and download the suitable assets usable in a desired delivery phase. The AMS also may receive from the users, usage data for (representing an extent of use of) the downloaded electronic assets and generate a set of utilization characteristics of the electronic asset based on the usage data. In addition, the AMS may facilitate classification of the assets according to a set of technology areas in which each electronic asset is applicable. On identifying that a new user is expected to operate in a specific technology area, the AMS may determine and provide suitable assets applicable to the specific technology area.

Abstract: A system comprehensively tests each feasible path in a policy-based Extensible Markup Language (XML) workflow. The system may receive an input workflow and parse workflow (or proxy code of the workflow) to construct a policy control flow graph. The system may identify paths in the policy control flow graph, such as each feasible path in the policy control flow graph. The system may determine path constraints for the identified paths, where the path constraints identify path conditions for traversing the identified path in the policy control flow graph. Then, the system may generate a set of test inputs for the workflow using the path constraints that, when input into the policy-based XML workflow, cause the workflow to traverse the identified paths.

Abstract: Preparing a content package by determining a requesting user profile based on the requesting user identity. This includes calculating an inclusion value for a content file based on at least one factor. The factor may be a social networking factor. The social networking factor is based on a profile attribute linking the requesting user identity to at least one friend user identity and a content rating attribute linking the content file to the friend profile. Other factors are a content aging factor based on a content age value and a request length factor based on a content length value. The calculated inclusion value is compared to an inclusion condition. If the calculated inclusion value satisfies the inclusion condition, incorporating the content file into the content package.

Abstract: A digital asset management system effectively provides full control of compound media assets and their specific components. The digital asset management data model supports the creation and management of multiple levels of granularity or metadata enrichment, and different sets of file types or renditions used throughout the digital asset processing life-cycle. The extensible digital asset management data model allows telecommunications service providers to augment or enrich compound media asset metadata, and thereby, optimize the relationship between media assets, and enhance storage and retrieval functionalities. The digital asset management system solves the technical problems arising from ingesting, storing, and managing rich media assets economically and efficiently.

Abstract: A novel solution is provided that utilizes the two-credential characteristics of accessing cloud-hosted data in a portal-oriented enterprise-specific solution. Cloud computing resources may be accessed through a separate, enterprise-specific portal clients used to manage a set of cloud service accounts. Individuals (e.g., employees of the enterprise or company) may access cloud computing resources via an instance of the portal client, and any communication between individuals in an enterprise and cloud services may be facilitated through the portal. Each portal client may also be configured to be compatible with any cloud service vendor.
