Abstract: A command filter module filters receives a plurality commands intended for receipt by devices interconnected within a utility grid. The command filter module may authorize the plurality of commands for execution by the respective devices based on predetermined set of command rules. Historical and real-time data may be implemented by the command filter module to perform an authorization decision for the plurality of commands. Authorized commands may be transmitted by the command filter module for receipt by the respective devices. The command filter module may generate rejection messages corresponding to unauthorized commands. The rejection messages may be transmitted to a source of an unauthorized command.

Abstract: Master BOM creation may include extracting BOM data from first and second BOMs, and determining which BOM extracted data is greater. If the first or second BOM is a CAD BOM and the other BOM is a non-CAD BOM, the CAD BOM and non-CAD BOMs may be respectively used as a first and a second source BOM data for a master BOM table. If the first and second BOMs are non-CAD BOMs, or both of the first and second BOMs are CAD BOMs, the greater and lesser of the first and second BOM extracted data may be respectively used as the first and as the second source BOM data. A master BOM may be created based on mapping of the master BOM table to the second source BOM data.

The elements are displayed in a first window that allows the elements to be manually edited. A user input that causes a change to an element in the first window may be received. The elements, including any changes, are stored in a second file that is in a second (different) format. A second window is used to display the contents of the second file including any changes.

Abstract: Various embodiments provide an assessment tool that enables an automated functional assessment of applications for migration to target cloud computing platforms, such as a Platform as a Service (PaaS). The technical capabilities of various types of applications in a traditional non-platform deployment are studied and support for these technical capabilities is evaluated relative to the target platform.

Abstract: A platform for providing real-time promotions determines a customer interested in a product or service. The platform identifies customer information associated with the customer, as well as a set of products of interest to the customer. The platform identifies a supplier or advertiser associated with each of the products and receives promotion bids from one or more of the suppliers or advertisers. The platform generates a score for each of the received promotion bids, selects at least one of the promotion bids for transmission to the mobile device, and transmits the selected at least one promotion bids to the mobile device. The platform tracks customer behavior associated with the at least one promotion bids and provides the tracked behavior information back to the suppliers or advertisers.

Abstract: A method and system for managing an application in a cloud data center by monitoring the bandwidth of a subnet of which the primary operating instance of an application is a member. If a severe deterioration in the bandwidth caused by an over consumption of the subnet resources from other subnet constituents is detected, a suitable secondary instance in an alternate, uncompromised subnet is located and primary operation of the application is transferred from the former primary operating instance to the secondary instance. The secondary instance can be pre-launched or dynamically requisitioned according to various embodiments.

Abstract: The present invention provides a solution to the needs described above through a system and method for a wireless universal mobile product interface (WUMPI). Generally, products/objects have their own interface, or man-machine-interface (MMI). Technically, the wireless universal mobile product interface of the present invention (WUMPI) innovates this space by replacing the product's MMI by implementing reverse software control via wireless transmission channel and or Bluetooth wireless technologies to control the mobile device's screen—replacing the local software component on the mobile device which controls what is shown on the screen in terms of a man-machine-interface (MMI). This enables a product/object within the area of the mobile device to take over control via the wireless transmission channel or other wireless capability of the mobile device and to “extend” the product interface to the mobile device that came within it's control range, or the product/object's personal area network (PAN).

Abstract: A test script generation system may generate end-to-end test scripts to test a software application. A workflow generator may generate recommendations of suggested modules corresponding to domain-specific reference application maps to include in a workflow. A visual representation of the workflow may be generated and provide an indication of suggested modules that have not been included in the workflow. A script generator may generate the end-to-end test scripts based on the workflow.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for scanning a computer system for sensitive data. A scan manager manages a scan of files of a second computer. The scan manager receives a request to scan and identify files stored on the second computer based on at least one category of sensitive data. The scan manager receives scan report recipient information and generates a user profile based on the at least one category and the recipient information. The scan manager makes the user profile available to a category server for use in creating a scan profile defining the scan criteria and deploys a scan agent to a computer to conduct the scan based on the scan profile. When the scan is complete and upon creation of the scan report, the scan manager makes the scan report available to the intended recipients.

Abstract: An outage intelligence application receives event messages indicative of occurrences associated with various devices within a power grid. The outage intelligence application determines a state of the various devices based on the event messages. Based on the event messages, the outage intelligence application can determine can determine and confirm an outage condition associate with a particular device. A fault intelligence application receives synchrophasor data for each phase in a multi-phase power grid. The synchrophasor includes phasor magnitude and phasor angle information for each phased. Based on the synchrophasor data, the fault intelligence application determines the presence of a fault involving one or more of the phases and identifies a particular fault type.

Abstract: A method, system and graphical user interface for configuring a simulator. A graphical user interface may be used to define a configurable device profile, where a large number of devices for simulation by a simulator may be created based upon the configurable device profile. Once created, the devices may be individually configured and/or configured in groups. Additionally, the configuration of the devices may determine how the simulator generates and/or outputs simulated device data for the devices. For example, an attribute may be associated with a device which defines a format of the simulated device data, a rate at which the simulated device data is output, a range of values for the simulated device data, or an operating parameter of the device. An attribute specifying the communicative coupling of the devices may also be defined. Further, the simulated device data may include a data value.

Abstract: A system is described for determining a relative location of a plurality of items upon a plurality of platforms. The system may include a memory, an interface, and a processor. The memory may store a first item, a second item, a first period of time and a second period of time. The interface may be operative to communicate with a user and an antenna. The antenna may be able to detect an item for a period of time. The processor may be operative to receive from the antenna, via the interface, the first item, the first period of time, the second item and the second period of time. The processor may determine whether the periods of time overlap. If the periods of time overlap the processor may communicate to the user that the items are upon the same platform, otherwise that the items are on consecutive platforms.

Abstract: Journaling technology, in which a tool, that is separate from a journaling process executed by a server system, causes display of an interface that enables user selection of information derivable from journaling data collected by the journaling process. The tool receives, through the displayed interface, user input selecting desired information derivable from the journaling data collected by the journaling process. Based on the user input, the tool determines one or more commands that are understood by the journaling process and that control the journaling process to retrieve journaling data needed to derive the desired information. The tool controls the journaling process to execute the one or more commands, accesses journaling data retrieved through execution of the one or more commands, and reformats the accessed journaling data into a presentable format of the desired information.

Events associated with usage of a plurality of computing resources may be accessed, where the plurality of computing resources may implement a virtual machine, a plurality of virtual machines of a cloud computing environment, etc. The events may be associated with a start, a stop, a status change, etc., of the plurality of computing resources. The events may be used to generate usage data for the plurality of computing resources. The usage data may include historical data associated with previous usage of the plurality of computing resources. Additionally, the usage data may be displayed using a graphical user interface, thereby enabling monitoring and/or tracking of usage of computing resources provisioned across at least one cloud provider and/or at least one data center.

Abstract: A method for component discovery from source code may include receiving source code, and determining business classes by excluding packages and classes in the source code identified as belonging to a presentation layer, as belonging to a data access layer, as models and/or as utilities. The method may further include extracting multi-dimensional features from the business classes, estimating similarity for business class pairs based on the extracted multi-dimensional features, clustering the business classes based on the similarity and mapping functional concepts to the clusters. The clusters generated by the clustering may represent components of the source code. The method may also include determining interfaces for the components based on the clustering.
