Abstract: Ground vehicle reporting and tracking techniques are provided to track vehicles associated with a particular area (e.g., an airport, a military base, etc.). Ground vehicles may regularly report information about the vehicle to one or more control stations via corresponding communication links. The communication links may include, for example, an Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) link and a non-ADS-B link.
Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus for neutralizing explosive devices that includes an electrical power supply that provides an electrical potential sufficient to neutralize an explosive device, a cathode emitter and an anode emitter, and a vehicle that moves the cathode and anode emitters along the earth in close proximity to the earth, wherein the cathode and anode emitters are arranged parallel and spaced apart from each other. A method for using the apparatus is also disclosed.

Abstract: A portable video production system includes a stand, a prompter portion, a mirror, a piece of glass, and a measuring device. The stand includes a table and a plurality of legs, and is configured to adjust a height of the legs based on a height of a user. The prompter portion includes a plurality of legs and a plurality of supports, and the supports extend between the legs of the prompter portion. The mirror is connected between first and second supports of the plurality of supports, and is configured to reflect a display of a laptop. The piece of glass is connected between third and fourth supports of the plurality of supports, and reflects the reflection of the display from the mirror to provide a reflected image to the user and to enable a video to be filmed through the glass without the reflected image appearing in the video. The measuring component is connected to the table, and extends from the table and being of a first specific length to indicate a first distance for the user to stand from the table.
Abstract: A digital system or device includes a battery pack as an exemplary functional subunit. In a warranty case determined by an electrical load test for determining its actual charge capacity, a battery check program initializes, via the operating system and an underlying printer, a printout of a warranty certificate. This certificate form, in particular, contains a UID of the underlying battery pack gathered from a ROM implemented in the battery pack. Before generating the printout of the certificate, the UID gathered from the ROM is coded e.g. by the battery check program and only the coded UID is printed. The printout of the warranty certificate thereafter will be delivered to the warranty service provider by the user. After having received the delivered warranty certificate and having checked validity of the user's warranty claim by means of the coded UID the warranty service provider sends a replacement battery pack back to the user.

Abstract: A remote video capture system includes a first camera, a control device, a video device, and a server. The first camera records a first video during a video shoot in response to a record signal from a remote device. The control device receives a record mode request signal associated with a first camera from the remote device and adjusts a view of the first camera based on received adjustment signals. The video device provides a video feed from the first camera to the remote device in response to the record mode request signal. The server is in communication with the first camera and with a second camera. The server creates a video chat session between the server and the remote device, provides a substantially real-time video from the second camera to the remote device via the video chat session, and stores the first video when the video shoot is completed.
