Abstract: In some aspects, systems and methods provide for forming groupings of a plurality of independently-specified computation workloads, such as graphics processing workloads, and in a specific example, ray tracing workloads. The workloads include a scheduling key, which is one basis on which the groupings can be formed. Workloads grouped together can all execute from the same source of instructions, on one or more different private data elements. Such workloads can recursively instantiate other workloads that reference the same private data elements. In some examples, the scheduling key can be used to identify a data element to be used by all the workloads of a grouping. Memory conflicts to private data elements are handled through scheduling of non-conflicted workloads or specific instructions and/or deferring conflicted workloads instead of locking memory locations.

Abstract: A second input image is generated by applying a target augmented reality (AR) effect to a first input image. The first input image and the second input image are provided to a first visual-semantic machine learning model to obtain output describing at least one feature of the target AR effect. The first visual-semantic machine learning model is fine-tuned from a second visual-semantic machine learning model by using training samples. Each training sample comprises a first training image, a second training image, and a training description of a given AR effect. The second training image is generated by applying the given AR effect to the first training image. A description of the target AR effect is selected based on the output of the visual-semantic machine learning model. The description of the target AR effect is stored in association with an identifier of the target AR effect.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for voltage regulation for memory array test procedures are described. A system may utilize multiple voltage regulators to concurrently activate sets of antifuses and to compensate for voltage drops across the antifuses. Each voltage regulator may be associated with a respective region of memory cells. The memory system may apply an activation voltage to antifuse circuitry of a memory array. Respective voltage regulators for each region of memory cells may maintain the activation voltage across respective sets of antifuses of the antifuse circuitry, such that the activation voltage exceeds a respective threshold for each antifuse. Each antifuse of the respective sets of antifuses may be activated based on maintain the activation voltage using the multiple voltage regulators. The set of antifuses may transition from a resistive state to a conductive state based on activating the set of antifuses.

Abstract: An optical configuration for providing chromatic dispersion compensation in a high data rate communication system is based upon using optical dispersion compensation in the receive signal path prior to performing an O/E conversion. The performance of chromatic dispersion compensation in the optical domain thus presents a “corrected” optical signal as an input to the photodetecting device. The inclusion of optical-based chromatic dispersion compensation allows for a higher data rate to be used without introducing an unacceptable bit error rate; alternatively, the use of optical-based dispersion correction allows for the reach of a data communications network to be increased.
