Abstract: A plug contact is provided which comprises a first pin connected to two contact plates arranged parallel to one another. The contact plates are also connected to two further pins which are arranged on a side of the contact plates opposed to the first pin. The three pins are arranged parallel to one another. The two contact plates are connected by connecting elements to the two further pins which are arranged in the region of the connection of the first pin and are guided via a 180° bend to the two further pins. The two contact plates comprise reciprocally associated notches between which a contact region is formed for contacting a contact pin. Owing to the selected geometry it is possible to introduce a contact pin from different directions into the contact region and retain the contact pin.
Abstract: A vehicle junction box for rapidly and easily assembling a connector using a quick connector and a method for assembling the same is disclosed. The junction box includes a case having an accommodating section receiving the lower side of a connector, a power distribution center having a fixing section receiving the upper side of the connector, guides formed at the sides of the connector, recesses receiving the guides, guide grooves having openings formed in a movable bar moved forward and rearward, and a manipulation part moving the movable bar forward and rearward so as to open and close the openings.
Abstract: Wire insulation displacement connection apparatus including a wire supply portion, a first press-contacting portion arranged downstream from the wire supply portion, and a second press-contacting portion arranged downstream of the first press-containing portion. A pitch converting comb blade is arranged between the second press-contacting portion and a measuring clamp, which pulls out a first connector press-contacted to front tips of the wires. The pitch converting comb blade has pitch conversion grooves which increase the spacing between the wires. The comb blade is arranged such that the pitch of the wires in the region of the second press-contacting portion, where a second connector is press-contacted to the wires, is the same as the pitch of the terminals of the second connector.
Abstract: The invention provides an optical short-circuit insert for accommodation in a plug housing, with a plug region with two mutually parallel optical fiber ends of an optical fiber portion. A curved region of the optical fiber portion, intermediate optical fiber ends, is guided in an arc of 180 degrees. The optical fiber portion has a curved portion of a fiber consisting of multi-component glass with cladding or of a multi-conductor glass fiber with cladding, which is enveloped in a plastic carrier. An optical short-circuit plug with a plug housing enveloping a plug and a short-circuit insert capable of being pushed into it is also provided.

Abstract: An electrical connector arrangement having a first connector which is arranged in a housing and may be brought into an electrical connection with a mating connector by the actuation of an actuation lever arranged movably on the first connector. The actuation lever being movable between a free position in which the two connectors are not fully mated and a coupled position in which the two connectors are fully mated. A portion of the actuation lever is disposed between the first connector and the housing with a clamping projection on the lever that is in engagement with a mating clamping projection on the housing when the actuation lever is in the coupled position.
Abstract: A card edge connector latch is provided which makes it possible to install cards or cards side by side at a high density on a motherboard without increasing the overall size of the connector. The card edge connector latch is used together with a card edge connector that is mounted on a motherboard. The latch comprises board fasteners which are fastened to the motherboard, and latches which latch an opposite end portion of the card, a contact end portion of which is received in the card edge connector 1, in a state in which the card is substantially parallel to the motherboard. The latch is carried on and fastened to the motherboard opposite the card edge connector without being assembled with the card edge connector. The latches extend toward and engage with the opposite end portion of the card.
Abstract: The present invention provides a card connector assembly that is used for the connection with two cards having mutually different transmission speeds and that can maintain transmission characteristics while minimizing the amount of an expensive FPC used. The card connector assembly comprises stacked first and second card connectors for connection with two cards having mutually different transmission speeds, and transmission paths for connecting the first and second card connectors to a circuit board. The transmission path for the first card connector to which a card with a relatively high transmission speed is to be connected is constructed from an FPC to which the first card connector is connected. The transmission path for the second card connector to which a card with a relatively low transmission speed is to be connected comprises terminal parts that extend from the second card connector, and a rigid board to which the terminal parts are connected.
Abstract: An electrical connector comprises an insulating housing having a plurality of contact accommodating cavities extending from a front side to a rear side of the housing. Each of the contact accomodating cavities has a first probe receiving opening formed adjacent thereto. A retainer that is moveable between a temporary locking position and a main locking position is attached to the front side of the housing. The contact accomodating cavities are accesible through the first probe receiving openings when the retainer is in the temporary locking position, and the contact accomodating cavities are accesible through second probe receiving openings formed in the retainer when the retainer is in the main locking position.
