The marketplace network includes a plurality of user systems associated with respective user participants configured to generate a service request to one of the plurality of service provider systems. The marketplace server facilitates transactions digitally by executing a set of computer-executable tasks for securely processing transactional exchanges among the marketplace participants. The transactional exchanges include at least exchanges of ownership rights for digitally stored data at least in part owned originally by the user participants.

Abstract: A bicycle system includes controller devices. Each controller device includes at least one respective input element configured to receive input from a user. The system includes operation-enacting devices. Each operation-enacting device is configured to enact at least one respective operation on the bicycle. The system includes a network coordinator device configured to (i) establish a wireless network for communications between the network coordinator device, the controller devices, and the operation-enacting devices, and (ii) transmit to the operation-enacting devices, via the wireless network, a roster identifying the controller devices and the operation-enacting devices paired to the wireless network. The controller devices are configured to transmit to the operation-enacting devices, via the wireless network, signals indicating input received by the input elements of the controller devices.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for assisting a customer with purchasing a merchandise item in a store. Assisting the customer may include determining a location of a customer (i.e., customer device) in the store, identifying merchandise items located adjacent to the customer, receiving selection of a merchandise item for purchase from the identified merchandise items, receiving payment authorization information for the purchase, and initiating delivery of the merchandise item to the customer. Additionally, systems and methods are provided for inventory management in a store. Consistent with certain embodiments, computer-implemented systems and methods are provided for selecting a sensor, receiving a sensor identifier and a position of the sensor, receiving merchandise identifiers for merchandise items located near the sensor, and storing the merchandise identifiers in association with the sensor identifier.

Abstract: A system for testing a plurality of electrical circuits includes a first remote cooperative testing device including a testing component and a first transceiver and a second remote cooperative testing device including a conductive component and a second transceiver. In response to receiving instructions from a remote computing device, the first remote cooperative testing device locates a first electrical circuit and a second electrical circuit and selectively positions the testing component to electrically couple a first portion of the first electrical circuit to a first portion of the second electrical circuit at a first node, and the second remote cooperative testing device selectively positions the conductive component to electrically couple a second portion of the first electrical circuit to a second portion of the second electrical circuit at a second node, thereby forming a testing circuit between the first node and the second node.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, detecting an interferer having a periodic time of recurrence and a periodic spectral frequency range, identifying a spectral segment of a plurality of spectral segments of a wideband radio system having a time of occurrence and an operating frequency range that overlaps with the periodic time of recurrence and the periodic spectral frequency range of the interferer, identifying a communication device utilizing the spectral segment for transmitting data in accordance with a segment schedule assigned to the communication device, and generating an updated segment schedule by modifying the segment schedule of the communication device to avoid utilizing an affected portion of the spectral segment during the periodic time of recurrence and the periodic spectral frequency range of the interferer. Abstract: An image senor may include an array of pixels controlled by row control circuitry. Each pixel may include a photodiode for generating image signals and a charge storage structure coupled to a floating diffusion region and configured to generate and store parasitic light noise level signals. The image signals and the parasitic light noise level signals may be read out in the same readout cycle using shared or separate readout circuitry. Processing circuitry may selectively process the image signals based on the parasitic light noise level signals to generate image signals with reduced noise.

Abstract: A method for diagnosing battery pack faults includes connecting a diagnostic service tool (DST) to the battery pack and measuring battery parameters using one or more electrical sensors, including a voltage of each cell/cell group. The method includes calculating, via the DST using the battery parameters, a section-average state of charge (SOC) of each battery section and identifying, from among the cells/cell groups of each respective section, a particular one of the cells or cell groups having a lowest cell SOC. For each respective battery section, a ?SOC value is calculated as a difference between the section-average and lowest cell SOC, including comparing the ?SOC value for each section to a calibrated threshold. A repair action is executed or initiated with respect to the battery pack, via the DST, responsive to the ?SOC value for one or more sections exceeding the calibrated threshold.

Abstract: Exemplary embodiments of a kamado-style cooker pizza oven conversion device are disclosed. Certain embodiments detachably mount within a kamado-styled cooker such that the lid of the cooker rests at an angle on the top of the device and thereby “closes off” and defines a cooking space within the interior that takes advantage of the pizza oven-like features of a kamado cooker. With an embodiment of the solution installed in a kamado cooker, an open doorway or window is defined for allowing a user to insert a pizza into the cooking space and place the pizza on a pizza stone held by the device. Embodiments allow for cooking to occur simultaneously via conductive, convective and radiant thermal energy transfer.

Abstract: Service level objectives (SLOs) defined for a storage system are associated with virtual machines running on hosts. For an I/O operation for a virtual machine (VM) running on a host system, storage processing is performed on the I/O operation in accordance with the SLO defined for the VM. The same storage system-defined SLOs may be applied to VMs running on multiple host systems. SLOs may be maintained by the storage array and shared with one or more host systems in I/O communication with the storage system. SLOs may be defined using a user interface of a storage system, host system, virtualizer control station or other component of a storage network, and communicated to the storage system, which may maintain the SLOs, and may disseminate them to one or more hosts. The SLOs then may be associated with VMs running on the hosts and tagged to I/O communications corresponding to the VMs.

Abstract: A semiconductor device may include an array of single-photon avalanche diode pixels. The single-photon avalanche diode (SPAD) pixels may include a SPAD coupled to a supply voltage terminal via first and second reset paths. The first reset path may be a fast reset path that provides the SPAD with a short recovery time. The second reset path may be a slower reset path that provides the SPAD with a longer recovery time, but is used to ensure the SPAD is quenched even when the quench resistance associated with the first reset path is low. Logic circuitry may selectively activate the first or the second resets to quench and reset the SPAD. A SPAD pixel may also include one or more switches that keep nodes in the SPAD pixel at a constant voltage when the SPAD pixel is inactive.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed for enhancing operable functionality of input source code files from a software program by identifying candidate code snippets from the plurality of input source code files that meet a similarity threshold measure for library functions stored in the system library and then identifying at least a first validated code snippet from the candidate code snippets that matches a first library function stored in the system memory on the basis of at least first and second matching metrics so that the developer is presented with a library function recommendation which includes the first validated code snippet, the first library function, and instructions for replacing the first validated code snippet with the first library function.

Abstract: A liquid dispensing system comprises a container enclosing a chamber. A flexible bag in the chamber contains a first liquid. First and second conduits are contained in the chamber. The first conduit connects the chamber to an outlet port in the container where the second conduit connects the bag to the first conduit. A supply source introduces a pressurized second liquid into the chamber. The first conduit serves to direct an existing flow of the second liquid from the chamber to the outlet port, with the pressurized second liquid serving to collapse the bag and expel the first liquid contained therein via the second conduit to the first conduit for mixture with the exiting flow of the second liquid. The second conduit lacks flow restrictions, such as metering orifices or the like.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides compositions and methods for altering gibberellin (GA) content in corn or other cereal plants. Methods and compositions are also provided for altering the expression of genes related to gibberellin biosynthesis through suppression, mutagenesis and/or editing of specific subtypes of GA20 or GA3 oxidase genes. Modified plant cells and plants having a suppression element or mutation reducing the expression or activity of a GA oxidase gene are further provided comprising reduced gibberellin levels and improved characteristics, such as reduced plant height and increased lodging resistance, but without off-types.

The present invention provides apparatus and methods for wireless designation of a position of health care providers and equipment relative to each other based upon wireless communications amongst multiple wireless transceivers combined with ongoing monitoring of conditions present in a healthcare facility. A user interface may provide a pictorial view of positions of all or some the healthcare providers and equipment and condition quantifying sensors.

Abstract: A method can include engaging the pericardium of a patient at two engagement positions of the pericardium. The method can further include moving the two engagement positions of the pericardium away from each other to tension a portion of the pericardium. The method can further include advancing an access device through the tensioned portion of the pericardium to introduce the access device into the pericardial space of the patient. Abstract: Combinations of host ports and storage ports (e.g., I-T pairs) on a storage network that are zoned but not masked may be determined, without accessing a switch or network administrator. Heartbeat communications (heartbeats) may be transmitted from host systems to each storage device of a storage system of which the host system is aware, along the one or more I/O paths of which the host is aware to the storage port of the I/O path. The storage devices may include one or more nominal devices defined for I-T pairs for which I/O connectivity has not been defined for any storage devices. The storage system may maintain a master heartbeat (heartbeat) table that may include a plurality of entries, each entry corresponding to a combination of a host port, storage port and storage device, and storing a time stamp value for a most recent heartbeat received for the combination.
