Abstract: A method and algorithm for dosing single and multiple drugs for an individual patient includes the step of collecting data from the individual patient. The data includes drugs to be taken by the patient, the patient's age, medical condition, metabolism, and other factors. The method further includes the steps of analyzing the individual patient data in view of dosing criteria established based on patient population data. Based on the analysis, a dose of the single or multiple drugs is recommended. Alternative treatment options can also be recommended.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus, and computer readable media related to receiving textual input of a user during a dialog between the user and an automated assistant (and optionally one or more additional users), and generating responsive reply content based on the textual input and based on user state information. The reply content is provided for inclusion in the dialog. In some implementations, the reply content is provided as a reply, by the automated assistant, to the user's textual input and may optionally be automatically incorporated in the dialog between the user and the automated assistant. In some implementations, the reply content is suggested by the automated assistant for inclusion in the dialog and is only included in the dialog in response to further user interface input.

Abstract: A load control device adapted to be coupled between an AC power source and an electrical load for controlling the power delivered to the load includes a controller, an actuator for turning the electrical load on and off, an occupancy detection circuit, and an ambient light detector. The load control device automatically turns on the electrical load in response to the presence of an occupant only if the detected ambient light is below a predetermined ambient light level threshold. After first detecting the presence of an occupant, the load control device monitors actuations of the actuator to determine whether a user has changed the state of the load. The load control device automatically adjusts the predetermined ambient light level threshold in response to the user actuations that change the state of the load.

Abstract: Various different types of computing devices include a modem that allows the computing device to communicate wirelessly with other devices using various different radio access technologies (RATs). During operation of the computing device, the modem scans for a cell to connect to using a particular RAT, and once found connects to the cell. The computing device also includes a modem scan management system that manages the modem scanning for a cell to connect to, controlling the modem's scanning for a cell to connect to, such as stopping scanning using a particular RAT or reducing the frequency of the scans until movement of the computing device by a significant amount is detected. In response to a significant amount of movement being detected, scanning using the particular RAT can resume or the frequency of the scans can be increased.

  • Publication number: 20200246599
Abstract: A device, a system and a method are provided to accurately apply a medically beneficial substance directly to a laterally or superiorly located paranasal sinus cavity. When the device is assembled with a solution in a reservoir, and inverted such that the reservoir is above an input apparatus and a housing, weight of the solution pushes down on a diaphragm creating a negative pressure on the diaphragm, which prevents air from entering the reservoir and prevents a liquid from flowing out of the reservoir. Applying a positive pressure to a bottom of the diaphragm causes the diaphragm to open and allows air to flow into the reservoir. When a user creates the positive pressure by exhaling air into the device the act of exhaling causes the user's choana to close. Thereby any solution introduced into the user's sino-nasal cavity will remain contained within the user's sino-nasal cavity increasing effectiveness of treatment and decreasing user discomfort including gagging, choking, and inner ear disturbance.
