Abstract: A first connector, a second connector and an electrical connector assembly having the first connector and the second connector are provided. The first connector includes an insulating housing and a locking plate embedded in the insulating housing, and a plurality of first power terminals, a plurality of first signal terminals and a plurality of first braking terminals mounted in the insulating housing; the locking plate is provided with a locking mechanism protruding upwardly. The second connector includes a terminal block, a cover body covering the terminal block, a locking slidable cover slidably mounted on the cover body and a plurality of second power terminals, a plurality of second signal terminals and a plurality of second braking terminals mounted in the terminal block. The locking slidable cover is capable of sliding forwardly and rearwardly relative to the cover body, and is capable of being locked together with the locking mechanism.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide methods and apparatuses for video encoding/decoding. In some examples, an apparatus for video decoding includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry decodes prediction information for a current block in a current coded picture that is a part of a coded video sequence. The prediction information indicates a first prediction mode used for the current block. The processing circuitry determines whether a neighboring block that neighbors the current block and is reconstructed prior to the current block uses the first prediction mode. Then the processing circuitry inserts prediction information from the neighboring block into a predictor list for the first prediction mode in response to the determination that the neighboring block uses the first prediction mode. Finally the processing circuitry reconstructs the current block in accordance with the predictor list for the first prediction mode.

Abstract: The present technology relates to a data processing device and a data processing method which can ensure high communication quality in data transmission using LDPC codes. In group-wise interleaving, an LDPC code having a code length N of 64800 bits and a coding rate r of 13/15 is interleaved in a unit of a bit group of 360 bits. In group-wise deinterleaving, a sequence of bit groups of the LDPC code which has been subjected to the group-wise interleaving is returned to an original sequence. The present technology can be applied to, for example, a case in which data transmission is performed using LDPC codes.

Abstract: In non-limiting examples of the present disclosure, systems, methods and devices for recommending content are presented. An electronic communication between a plurality of members of a common entity may be received. A link to web content in the electronic communication may be identified. A number of instances that the link has been electronically shared with members of the common entity may be determined. A determination may be made as to whether a content propagation threshold has been exceeded based on electronic sharing of the link amongst members of the common entity. The link may be provided for propagation upon determining that the content propagation threshold has been exceeded.

Abstract: Various aspects and embodiments are directed to a graphical user interface that organizes interface elements into views of computer content for presentation to a user. Different views of are used to provide an interface that is responsive to configurations of the device and activities performed by the user. Aspects include permitting the user to transition the device from one configuration to another during its use. The elements that comprise the graphical user interface are configured to present a summarized view of available actions and content to simplify user interaction. The different views present different organizations of the interface elements and in some examples display only certain modes of content in order to reduce the number of options a user must navigate. Methods and systems for streamlining user interaction with computer content are also provided. Streamlining includes, for example, pre-configuring a user device based on received information.

Abstract: A video encoder or video decoder buffers multiple blocks of a reconstructed picture of a video sequence. The video encoder/decoder performs deblock filtering between at least some of the multiple blocks. As part of the deblock filtering, the video encoder/decoder selectively filters at least some sample values in a diagonal line that crosses a block-boundary intersection between two diagonally adjacent blocks. When filtering sample values at the block-boundary intersection between four blocks, the video encoder/decoder can evaluate characteristics of all four blocks and adjust sample values in a line between diagonally adjacent blocks. If there is a large visual difference between sample values at corner positions of two diagonally adjacent blocks, the difference can be smoothed by filtering sample values in a diagonal line. In this way, the quality of motion-compensated prediction using the reconstructed picture is improved in many cases.

Abstract: A storage maintains coefficients that map histogram data elements to tire wear, the coefficients being trained based on a correlation of histogram data to measured tire wear. A processor is programmed to receive a wear data histogram from a vehicle, utilize the coefficients to translate the wear data histogram into a measure of physical tire wear; and send an alert message indicating the estimated tire wear.

Abstract: Features of various implementations are used to enable determining what a particular consumer is watching on television in order to deliver matched functionality, content and/or services, as a part of an interactive television suite of technologies. In some implementations, the process of determining what a particular consumer is watching is enabled so that communication between the primary set-top box and a supplemental set-top box and/or television integrated device is reduced, thereby avoiding the need for one or more provider specific APIs. For example, one aspect of the disclosure is a computer-implemented method of identifying a media program by capturing display data from the media program, and extracting text from the display data in response to determining that the display data includes the text overlay, wherein the extracted text is associated with the media program.

Abstract: A dental protocol for creating an osteotomy for an implant is disclosed. A first drill is selected having a tip to create a pilot hole in the bone surface of a patient. The first drill includes a first boring section to create a bore hole for a second drill and a second boring section to create a coronal area on the hole near the bone surface. A first drill hole is created on the bone surface having a depth compatible with the length of the implant with the first drill and a coronal area. A second drill for creating a second hole having a width compatible with the body of the implant is selected. A second drill hole is created on the bone surface with the second drill.

Abstract: A method and system generate an inferential network. Records of searches of a network of linked nodes are stored. Each of the nodes is connected to another one of the nodes by a link. Further, each of the records includes: 1) search terms used in a corresponding search; and 2) results of the corresponding search. The results correspond to nodes of the network. The stored records are analyzed to infer relationships between pairs of nodes of the network. Each of the relationships is inferred from the behavior of one of the nodes of a pair of nodes relative to the other node of the pair of nodes. Inferential nodes corresponding to the nodes of the pairs of nodes are generated, and inferential links between the inferential nodes are generated. The inferential links correspond to the inferred relationships.

Abstract: Non-volatile memory strings may include multiple selection devices for coupling memory cell devices to a bit line. Different programming operations may be used to program various individual selection devices in a non-volatile memory cells string. For example, a control circuit may set a threshold voltage of a particular selection device to a value greater than a threshold voltage of another selection device. In another example, the control circuit may program the selection device using an initial sense time. Subsequent to programming the selection device using the initial sense time, the control circuit may program the selection device using a different sense time that is shorter than the initial sense time.

Abstract: Approaches to selection of motion vector (“MV”) precision during video encoding are presented. These approaches can facilitate compression that is effective in terms of rate-distortion performance and/or computational efficiency. For example, a video encoder determines an MV precision for a unit of video from among multiple MV precisions, which include one or more fractional-sample MV precisions and integer-sample MV precision. The video encoder can identify a set of MV values having a fractional-sample MV precision, then select the MV precision for the unit based at least in part on prevalence of MV values (within the set) having a fractional part of zero. Or, the video encoder can perform rate-distortion analysis, where the rate-distortion analysis is biased towards the integer-sample MV precision. Or, the video encoder can collect information about the video and select the MV precision for the unit based at least in part on the collected information.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods for creating a downhole impact. The apparatus may be an impact tool operable to be coupled between portions of a tool string conveyable within a wellbore extending into a subterranean formation. The impact tool may include a housing, a chamber within the housing, a piston slidably disposed within the chamber and dividing the chamber into a first chamber volume and a second chamber volume, and a shaft connected with the piston and axially movable with respect to the housing. The first chamber volume may be open to a space external to the housing and the second chamber volume may be fluidly isolated from the space external to the housing. The piston may be maintained in a predetermined position within the chamber to maintain pressure within the second chamber volume appreciably lower than pressure within the first chamber volume while the impact tool is conveyed along the wellbore.

The device can communicate with a WWAN RAT Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) base station using the WWAN RAT via a WWAN RAT WLAN receiver on a WWAN RAT WLAN channel operating on a WLAN frequency. A personal access point WLAN channel of a WLAN frequency-based personal access point can be selected that provides the least desense of the WWAN RAT WLAN channel on the WWAN RAT WLAN receiver.

Abstract: A stroller is provided with the ability to removably couple and decouple a seat from the stroller as needed. The stroller can include a stroller frame. The stroller can also include one or more front wheels attached to the stroller frame and one or more rear wheels attached to the stroller frame. The stroller can also include a first seat coupled to the stroller frame. The stroller can include first and second seat attachment housings. Each of the seat attachment housings can include a cavity for receiving a corresponding one of the first and second seat attachment adapters. Each of the seat attachment housings can also include a door or cover to prevent access to the respective cavity when not in use. The seat attachment adapters can be coupled to the respective seat attachment housings and a second seat can be coupled to the seat attachment adapters.

Abstract: Method and systems described herein may provide multifactor mutual authentication. A first server may provide a first party and a second party with at least two authentication components in order for the first party to authenticate the identity of the second party, and vice versa. The first authentication component may include a color-based authentication component, while the second authentication component may include a code-based authentication component. Both factors need to be validated in order for the authentication to be successful. The color-based authentication component, in combination with the code-based authentication component, may improve the speed with which the mutual authentication is performed.

Abstract: A lifting apparatus having two rails spaced apart at a distance and two lifting mechanisms, each lifting mechanism supporting one of the two rails. A platform is disposed between the two rails such that movement of the lifting mechanisms causes the rails to displace relative to the platform. A base has the two lifting mechanisms connected thereto and the platform is connected to the base. The base moves horizontally along a floor. Further, the floor may be disposed in a pit and the travel of the rails between minimum and maximum rail heights may be greater than 62.5% of the depth of the pit. The minimum rail height may be less than 50% of the depth of the pit.
